    Good Points: - Looks professional
    - Good battery life
    - Large and bright screen
    - Easy to navigate
    - Full of features, including an MP3 player
    - Good phone software, but difficult to use
    - Light weight charger plug
    - Good camera & storage card

Bad Points: - Calls gets cut off occasionally
    - Good practice required for text messaging
    - Reminder/Alarm system is not very good
    - Bluetooth option only remains on for 60 seconds
    - Never finds other bluetooth device

General comments: The Motorola E398 is a quite smart and professional looking mobile phone with a large display, along with some good features, but it does lack in the area of the alarm system. However, it is easy to use, and the storage capacity is excellent for storing all your photo's.

This phone comes with built-in flash lights, which is also very good.

The only downside is the Alarm system, which isn't sophisticated enough for me!

Overall, it is a good phone to have for daily use!

The Motorola E398 is a good looking phone with a large display, easy to use once you do get the hang of the features, good amount of staoage due to memory card. Flashing lights are fun (well for kids they are)ringtones are good with lots to choose from..
Main fault for me is connecting to the PC never seems to work..

Could somebody please tell me how to put music on to my Motorola E398 I have the disc and that, but it doesn't help. Does the blue tooth have anything to do with it?

I love the rubbery black cover, the bright screen, and the Motorola E393 mobile phone syncs easily with my PC. Bluetooth works like a charm, and the MP3 player can play through dual speakers that are positioned on the side of the phone, and it is loud! It is not a mega-pixel phone, but it takes good pictures. The battery life is 4 days average. MP3's are stored on its T-flash card, which is really tiny. On my current 512MB card, I can fit on about 100-120 songs. It is currently modded with ...

I originally purchased this mobile phone in February of 2005 from my local T-Mobile Store for £129.99 which looking back was robbing for the spec of the phone.
I would not have bought the phone on T-Mobile but no one else appeared to have taken it up or T-Mobile had purchased sole rights to sell the phone (I unlocked the phone and used it on Orange).
T-Mobile menus were awful, luckily you could use Motorola Menus. What was annoying was the T-Mobile Startup Tune and Graphics the Tune bein ...

If you want to get the cheapest handphone, you can choose the Motorola E398 because of the feature and the device. You can play MP3 and video easily (althought just 3gp type). Believe me, everyone will be wondering about this phone and you will get excitement.

I bought the Motorola E398 phone because of its many features and nice design.

Unfortunately, it crashed after the first rain. (The phone was actually not even under the rain, just in a pocket that became wet.) And rain is apparently not covered by the Motorola warranty :-(

A phone that survived 3.5 weeks only ... useless.

The E398 is realy simple and easy to use, the screen is large which would suite those people who have bad eye sight, the loud speaker is very loud so listening to music is easy you are able to hear the sounds over a crowd of people talking, the bluetooth is very fast so you dont have to waste time transfering things.
