    Good Points: Very compact. Nice design. Feels solid.


    Bad Points: 'Jog ball' is difficult to master. Disappointing video quality, even when set at 'super fine' level.


    General comments: A very attractive package. The Panasonic SV-AV 50 looks terrific and the design is impressive. The stills images at 2 megapixels are about what you'd expect, but the quality of the MPEG4 images is disappointing. The images cannot be expanded beyond about a 4 inch screen or window otherwise the pixels and 'fogging' becomes very evident. Not even really good enough for holiday video.
