Good Points: Soft feel, a rare forgiving forged iron, simple yet handsome, quality construction, great value.
Bad Points: Like any forged iron, softness of material makes them prone to nicks; no 1-iron or 2-iron available.
General comments: Finally, the best of all worlds -- a golf iron with great and soft feel that is forgiving and carries a low center of gravity. The Golfsmith Snake Eyes 600XC is simply outstanding. And for the player who wants forged heads and doesn't have the strength/swing speed to go with the True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 stiff and high bend point shaft (which all name brand manufacturers use in their forged irons), Golfsmith offers a viable alternative. At $40-$50 per club, depending on shaft selection, how can you go worng?
