It is generally a good car, I have a 2002 Renault Clio 1.2 16 valve, the boot is a good size, 40 quid does just over a week if I just go to work which is a 45 min drive. It is very good for a first car insurance is a bit much if you are young though, I have driven my car for nearly 2 years and it has never broken down so it is very reliable Vauxhall Corsas are slighly more powerful.- Read 20HoGaN08's review (112 words)

Renault Clio MTV: The time machine in the boot makes the Clio a great option for nipping back and forth through time to correct past mistakes and observe future events. The warp engine and hover accelerator enable speedy get aways, perfect for evading the time police if they are chasing you. The bonnet mounted laser turrets and rear bay quantum torpedo launcher are excellent for neutralising Sunday drivers and Storm Troopers.
Despite it's plus points, the Clio eats up fuel like no business, a ...- Read mfarley01's review (217 words)

i've brought a clio mtv 1.2 recently and set about modifying it, i'm superchipped it, put kent cams into a 2.5 v6 vectra engine which i've transplanted, lowered on 17" rims, concept spolier bcm carbon fibre air box and greddy turbo, it puts out 212 bhp and does 0-6 in 6.0 flat with a top speed of 142(my experience) obviously this makes it much quicker than the 172 cup, i'd say all in all the 1.2 mtv had done me well- Read samhustler's review (83 words)

My 1st car, a great looking car for the price, with lots of gadgets. A great looking car, that gets lots of attention, from other drivers, due to alloys and body kit- Read Tony bone's review (60 words)

For a small car, the Renault Clio MTV is fairly responsive and sporty (alright that's pushing it a bit). When choosing this car i thought it was more of a balance between the size and refinement of the Punto and the responsivness of the Fiesta. It's cheap to insure and run (a real bonus if your 23 and a man in this world who has a 50 mile round trip to work). Although i fit in ok and I'm nigh on 6 foot and a big lad. If I have another big person in the front in the front it can be a little crmpe ...- Read paul's review (204 words)

Overall I am very very pleased with this Renault Clio MTV 1.2 - the gadgets make up for the lack of engine ooomph. But still when you wax it it looks gorgeous. If it came with alloys it would look better.- Read Crofty's review (76 words)

Well what can i say ive had the car only a few weeks i had a clio before so i know there fairly reliable but the MTV is a big car shoved into a mini, in the mtv you get power steering remote central locking cd player with 6 speakers and a remote for it on steering column electric windows stylish mtv interior with white dials and silver surrounds , double optic headlights, and more all in a little car that drives great if not a bit slow to 60 but then on its fine. responsive for such a small car. ...- Read matty's review (138 words and 1 comment)
