After trolling the high st for a specific black pleated skirt, i heard primark had some. I've not shopped there for some years, but i knew what to expect (hey, a girl can hope right?!) Awful manners. Staff backbiting about customers. No smile, no hello. Can't blame the assistants, management should treat them better. Staff don't even know their own refund policy. I have had shopped to primark many times, the quality of things is not really good but it is understandable you get what you pay for.. the main thing is the rush in a store and there isnt any security. things get lost in a store so easily, last week my partner lost her purse in store and the security camera's didnt even caught that which is really upseting us. We can cancel the cards but what about the cash amount? IF camera's arent able to find then whats the point of hanging them on... (read more)

Went to Primark in Glasgow today to find some clothes for my 17-month old son. Found the selection for children's clothing to be an absolute mess. Very difficult to find anything, but eventually found a few items. Noticed that there were 3 staff standing behind the 'Customer Service' desk doing nothing, so decided to pay there. Once I was at the desk the girl working behind the counter asked me if the items I had were returns. I said no. She said,'well you'll have to go to the cash desk.... (read more)

Ok you basically get what you pay for in there. Some of the stuff looks very wow but sometimes it wont last the weekend. Its very cheap, items often reduced to £1 or even 50p. The makeup dries up very quickly and if you buy something like shoes and wear them every day, don't expect them to last much more than a few months. I've recently bought lovely double bed duvet with pillow cases, where should be 2 pillow cases as it was described on the package. I haven't had any suspicious to control them at the store, because I've never had a problem with the store. When I've come home, I found that one of them is missing, so on the next day I went to the Primark and explained them an situation. Primark is a very nice shop because i brought those trousers that are elasticy and the bottom and they are so nice and fit me perfectly. The shoes are really good aswell i could see the beautiful dolly shoes with bright colours just for £4! I think primark is a good shop because I bought some shoes For £6 and they lasted me for about 4/5 months but then they broke I got the same style shoe from newlook for £20 and they have only lasted me 2/3 who wants to pay £20 every 2/3 months when you can pay £6 every 4/5 months? i just have to say i, THANK YOU for who ever invented primark.
people go on and say who ever shops in prmark is cheap but i totally dissagre, with the credit crunch now days my ideal shop is about £60 in primark. when i go in there i know i will find something that i love and that will look good on me. i brought a party dress and everyone was commenting on my new dress asking where i got it from. most people were shocked when i said it was from primark. THANKS PRIMARK! ;)

i think that primark is discriminating the larger gental men as they only cater for men of xs s m l xl not xxl or even xxxl in shirts jumpers ect and even in jeans & trouser you only go up to a size 40 and not size 42 44 46 and so on its the same in your suits you only go up to a size 44/46 and no higher46 48 50 .it out of order i wish you would do something about it.

Because Primarks prices are so cheap, it means that you can get so much more for your money than you would in a overly expensive shop like river island, it may not be the same quality, but its so cheap its easy to replace. Its to my knowledge, that for some of the goods that are sold they use the same manufacturer. They sell so many different things, its amazing! (read more)

I usually pop in to my local Primark (MetroCentre Gateshead) on Monday's as i would hate to miss a bargain, also visit the Newcastle branch on Friday's when i'm in town, now a funny thing has happened, have Primark's buyers got something against us bra size 36A and any A size upwards as they seem to have stopped stocking them, you can get A cups up to 34 and then nothing higher, come on Primark, sick of paying M & S prices for mine these day's.

I would shop at primark every week for the latest trend and for my children and especially when your going on holiday i find that pimarks sizes for children are weird? my sister and my brother with there children all have the same problem and some of my friends do too i find that there clothes are undersized my 11 month old daughter has to wear a 2-3year old tops and i need to take her up because they shrink in the wash now! it the same for my boys but the trousers my boy is nearly 5 in 4... Primarks staffs are always helpfull..even though its really busy - hard to take breath they are still keen to help.
the queue at oxford street is always verry long, by looking at the queue anyone will drop back from buying however they always have someone controlling the queue for which its unbelivable how fast the queue moves.
within 5 mins will be at the front from the back :)

I have only worn one of the tshirts - a red one
To my horror, the white bra I wore underneath is covered in red fluff which isn't coming out easily - I daren't put it in the washer with other clothes in case it spreads.
Primark was the only store anywhere with a range of colours in round-necked tshirts, so this is disappointing. I would have happily paid more for the same design in a better quality. As I will probably have to replace the bra, it would have been more economical.

The trouble is, I've found that every one I've ever been to always looks like a jumble sale, as the clothes are on the floor and dumped in piles on display stands. They also have a good choice of colours and sizes, although their smaller sizes tend to go quickly. They also sell 'copies' of fashions that are in high street shops at cheaper prices. I think Primark is a great shop for those odds and ends you need. The quality of their goods is surprising compared to their prices. Such great prices for great quality! wonderful! The layout of the shop isn't that great as often things are thrown all over the place and everything is usually a mess (not really the shops fault though)

The Primark nearest me is like a jumble sale when I walk in it. I must admit that nobody buying respects the clothes, probably because of it's cheap pricing, it's all just flung everywhere normally! Also the staff that work in this particular store are ever so grumpy & the majority of them are actually foreign.
Anyway, I do love this store. It is good value for the price, can you really go wrong £1 for a pair of flip flops?! I mean, come on! In New Look a basic pair of flip flops like that...

as a person who worked in Primark supply chain -I know that Primarks products are not ethically manufactured. Actually when we were manufacturing for Tesoco we needed to do ethic manufacturing audits for the factories for Tesco orders and nothing for Primark onmes as they didnt care -- for them you have to supply cheap as possible - they dont care how many pregnant woman worjk in a factory 7 days 14 hours each day .. I don't know why people go mad over Primark, the clothes are very cheap but you get what you pay for - poorly made clothes which fall apart at the seams after one wear, the clothes look cheap and I can always spot someone in Primark clothing. The accessories especially are of poor quality and tarnish after one wearing and are just not attractive at all. Cheap tat which falls apart, that is all this store has to offer. Primark is good for value of money and keeping up with the fashion. Thing is why does every1 go so gaga over it, its material always falls apart so you have to buy another one and it dont work out cheaper than buying something a bit more expensive with better quality. ie cardigans £8, buy one in burtons for £20 with student discount £18, it works out better cause the primark one and falls apart after having it a month or so.

I work in Primark and I'm not sure which one you went to but we have at least 2 security guards in the building at all times. Cameras are always being watched for anyone looking suspicious also so I wouldn't judge that situation on all of the stores, very unfortunate it happened but it is that one store you should be highlighting
