    Good Points: Spec looked ok & value for money.


    Bad Points: Bearings shot on 4th wash.


    General comments: The Zanussi ZWF12070 seems to have similar design problem. Fourth time of use less than a month old, drum seems to have come detached, guess bearings have collapsed. Engineer due next week, watch this space.

    After 5 years of use [10 washes a week] broke down after 5 years. Would go half way through cycle then stop and fault code indicated new motor required @ 170 + call charge so have now bought a Seimens.
    Engineer say Zannusi is a '5' yr machine and Siemens a '10'year machine !!

    I have had my machine for over 7 years, it has never broken down or had anything replaced until now its just starting to not spin properly, we are a family of 5 and on average I wash 2-3 loads a day (on bed change day 7 loads in a day) so now looking to replace but I will go for another Zanussi, I feel that after all this time this machine has been great value for money!!

    This Zanussi FJS1425W 1400 Spin AAB Machine has had the following replaced:
    4 Sets of Bearings
    2 Drum Shafts
    4 Bearing Seal Kits
    1 drum
    1 Drum Housing
    1 Controller
    1 Controller to Front Control Panel Cable
    1 Jetwash pump
    1 Kick Plate
    1 Powder Draw
    When new gave excellent results. We have been accused of overloading it, not using Calgon and using it similar to Industrial use because we do 2 loads per night.
    When the bearings go it is incredibly noisy. It was fine for a few months then ...
