I have a XS20 and I find this gun quite hard to beat for the price. The gun is a copy of the Famous HW95 even down to the fab rekord trigger.
It does need a bit of de-burring on some of the metal parts.

I replaced the original spring for a high power (12ft/lbs)low recoil stainless steel spring fitted with delrin tophat & spring guide available through http://www.woodfield-gcp.webs.com/ this spring is one of the best available for the XS20 & XS19 rifles.
The gun is now shooting ragged 10p size groups out to 25 yds with hardly any twang or recoil.

If they did a xs20 in 177cal I would also buy one and tune it up.

I was put off chineese guns by some bad comments I had heard, I bought one to find out !! you wont be dissapointed, these guns are good value for money. I'm not dissapointed with my buy, I also own a lot of top end rifles as well and have lots of pleasure shooting these Chineese guns....

The SMK Supergrade XS-20 is a great gun, I love using it, I would advise anyone who shoots small vermin to buy one. I shoot mine everyday. it has a really nice feel and also has an ajustable trigger which is nice. mine has the smk mil dot 3-9x40 sight which is an excellent combo. love it to bits. found mine works best with the WASP No.3 Domed pellet as this seems to have a very consistant accuracy. I have tryed SMK. Marksman. Custom, and the little wasps seem to pull through every time. I have b ...

I have only just come back to air rifles after 40 years. All I originally wanted to do was shoot the rats that come into our property from the surrounding fields. So - I bought a relatively cheap one -
the SMK Supergrade SX20.Of course i bought some targets so I could practice - blimey at 30 yards using Bisley Magnums and a 3-9 Walther telescope it shoots the centre out of targets time after time. Rats don't stand a chance. In the end I was having so much fun I joined the local rifle club and a ...

Recently bought my SMK Supergrade XS-20 as a back up rifle for lighter work when my pcps are not needed!!
now finding myself using it more and more often its great to shoot and deadly accurate, with a good set off sights and paying that's bit more for good pellets rabbits don't stand a chance at over 100ft !!
as for the critics who are not into the cheaper rifles on the market they should try this great rifle and dont forget shooting is 90% the shooter and 10% the rifle!!!
    happy hunting !!! ...

Had this product for a couple of months now
fitted a smk 30x9x40 mill dot scope and zeroed in.
Haven't had much chance to shoot but on it's first outing pegged a rabbit at 28-30 yards out first shot.

Perferct power on long range excellent at handling and had a perfect weight. Brilliant gun thats really excellent to handle perfect weight and very powerfull. Perferct power on long range excellent at handling and had a perfect weight. I would say its too powerfull as it moves the scopes back quit abit after 4 shots so u need to add pins to keep scope in place

Having had the SMK XS36-2 underlever for 12 months now I thought it was time to treat myself to a new piece of ironmongery.
BTW the XS36 is just fine & all the better for a Titan spring & a custom graphited -nylon spring guide.
Onto the XS20 then, which I bought from an online retailer, who was clearly selling off stock at almost cost, because of the online sales ban which came in on the 1st October. He's actually not that far from me so I fetched it to save on postage & the gun wa ...

Bought from PET Sports and Hunter Diamond kit which contained the rifle, padded bag, ammo cleaning kit and 3x9x40 scopes. I also purchased the suppressor which including next day delivery was under £200.
I needed the gun for keeping pigeons off my peas, beans and fruit. I zeroed the gun at 30 metres and nailed the centre after 15 shots, can put 5 pellets in a 2" square from 40 metres which is good enough.
Was using 3/4 inch fibre board to pin my target to but the pellets were punching th ...

The SMK Supergrade XS-20 is a full power hunting rifle for £110. I got mine because I wanted a full power spring rifle that I could "knock about" while lamping. It's too good for that, and for power it rivals my HW77. At 30 yards I consistently send tablespoons spinning with a 4 x 28 scope. I agree with the other reviewer; airgun snobs don't know what they're missing!

SMK Supergrade XS-20 - I bought my rifle about 3 weeks ago, it came with a sound supresser and a 3-9 x 40 scope. This power scope is definatley recommended, anything less wouldnt let you take full advantage of the power and accuracy of the weapon.

There is plenty of power and to get then most out of the rilfe use a bi-pod for target shooting and vermin. I have already got 23 wood pigeons with it and 7 rabbits. You just cant go wrong with it.

There are some great deals on the web but the b ...

The SMK Supergrade XS-20, my first rifle went wrong after 100 shots. Wouldn't put 10 shots on an A4 sheet at just 20 yards, sent the rifle back. I got a new one same thing happened.
    I've own many rifles, Theoben Fenman .22, Rapid 7 .22, BSA Goldstar.22 BSA Superstar.22 TX200 mk2 .177 S16.22 plus others.
Don't waste you money on this, it is a budget rifle made with cheap materials. Save up a bit more and get the HW95k.
