I bought the Babyliss wet/dry about two years ago, at first i thought it was amazing, i need not pack my dryer too, but it takes a loooong time to straighten from wet.
It is much easier to blowdry and then straighten and saves you alot more time.
I also found that slowly but surely the heat is declining, it is set to its max, but just does not get as warm anymore. I did not know that straighteners' temperature declines in time. i mean, if my dad buys a drill/grinder, it does not go slower in time?
I paid R400 at the time, i think it should have lasted a bit longer. My friend has another Babyliss, retails at abt R600, much better, i'd really encourage to rather pay a little bit more, it surely is worth it. And it is on my Christmas wishlist!

Had this Babyliss Babyliss Pro Wet to Dry iron for only a few weeks. Works ok but seriously fried my hair when heat setting was up to high. Also, when my friend used this wet to dry iron on her clients, she is left handed, the holes for steam to be released are only on one side of the iron and she steam burned her client....may just be a user error on her part though...

I love the Babyliss Pro Wet to Dry, I searched everywhere for it. I had to buy one from a display cabinet because i was tired of looking for the thing.

It was great value for money, had it for three years +, never had any problems, the brush that is attached to the straighteners is great and helped in me in my styling. It is durable , mine has deffinitely travelled a lot, without paying too much attention to its care. Easy to use, dried my hair quick and when hair finished, results were great, long lasting. Definitely would buy again.

My niece has one and used it on my hair. I normally just let my hair dry naturally but would use it maybe once a week or when in the mood. Think it is great to use and my hair looked sleek and shiny. Much better than a hairdryer and easy to use. I live in Cape Town, South Africa and looking at the moment to buy a Babyliss Wet/Dry.

Recently they broke for the fith time, it takes weeks to get a replacement which is unreliable so I have given up and am switching brands. I definitely wont be buying from Babyliss again.

I first recieved a pair of these Babyliss Babyliss Pro Wet to Dry straighteners for my christmas present, as requested, and was originally thrilled. I no longer needed to use a hair dryer, and could straighten my hair from damp. This feeling was depleted upon my first use. My hair didn't feel silky smooth, not like it did with my ghds, it felt frazzeled. After about one month they broke, they failed to heat up.
