We stayed 8/14-8/19/10. Check was not great, but we have about 10 am. Because we were early, we were lucky and had no room for us. Back side of the building overlooking the pool, 28 layer. The room was nice, really, the bed was really comfortable. I slept really well. The casino is dark and hard to see, and the whole area was pretty tough. We liked the hotle ok, but it felt a lot of things we wanted to do. There is a bus that runs up and down the strip, but a source of confusion for us. We... (read more)

I booked the Thirty Thirty because of the good price and the central location (next to Empire State building). After booking I started looking at websites to read people reviews and found that it received very mixed review. However, when we got there it was fine, nice clean rooms, a little bit small, but in New York you are never in your room for long! I would recommend the Thiry Thirty to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, centrally located base. (read more)
