Good Points: Weather fantastic. Locals very friendly, especially the Olympia restaurant and the Easy bar. Enough night life to suit adults, nothing for young kids though.

Bad Points: Beach not that clean (lots of fag ends) you need to walk about 20 minutes along for cleaner stretches Sea not that shallow, quickly dips down from shore.
No local transport so once in resort unless you hire car/quad bike or scooter you're stuck, no taxis either!
Nearest place for taxi is Corfu town 40 minutes (45 euros) away. Only one money machine, many places don't take plastic, especially supermarkets.
Do not recommend staying at the St George Hotel. Very basic accommodation, most rooms had no air con. was more like a youth hostel, no lift, food was awful, very dirty cutlery/cups etc. Pool was disgusting a haven for flies.

General comments: If you are the type who does not like to move from your resort when you get there and like to spend all day on the beach and the night in a bar then this is the place for you. There is nothing except the beach for kids.

My boyfriend and I although being quite young, tend to try and stay away from resorts such as Kavos, and Falaraki, and this is an ideal base for a quite relaxing holiday. There are a variety of different eateries, even a Chinese and Itali ...
