The OneAndOne contract says you have to cancel two weeks in advance yet they send invoice out after deadline! Couldn't get online cancellation service to work and couldn't get anyone to respond to emails. I was instead referred to debt collection agency requesting penalty payment as well as year's payment. Rubbish! Still arguing...

I am very unhappy with the support, in the end I had to give up. I lost my domain and business through 1and1. LI do not recommend oneandone.co.uk web hosting company. Net mags reviews well phooey, they mean nothing whatsoever for me personally.- Read Guest's review (45 words)

I ran my domain for two years then things went pearshaped and then they were totally unhelpful. Long telephone calls and their side hanging up when they didn't have a clue what was happening then they suspended my account whilst I was in hospital. Absolutely none whatsoever. Oh yes the billing spot on time as always they knew when to charge. Continous downtime theft of domain and poor customer service.- Read boogiemoog's review (70 words)

Robust online management system
Customer service can be sometimes unhelpful in my experience, I believe, not based in the same country as the user it seems. Also the customer service do not know as much about the services as I would expect as far as I am concerned.
I have used 1and1 for over 3 years with 11 domains registered or transferred. I have had in total 6 issues of which 3 were serious. However, I do still recommend one and one web hosting.

I do not recommend OneandOne even if it is a cheap web hosting company. It's probably cheap for a reason. After having the misfortune of hosting several sites with them on various hosting packages I am continuing to experience loads of downtime without any warning as far as I am concerned. I only notice when i am trying to connect to my server and cant, then i look at all my sits and they are down. For the umpteenth time!
When I phone support they refuse to put me through to the complaints depa ...- Read Guest's review (139 words)

As far as I am concerned having an entire server to "go down" with 100s of sites on it for two days without any idea on how long it will take to fix it is quite poor, I do not recommend www.oneandone.co.uk.- Read Guest's review (67 words)

Usually bullet proof, hard to deal with when I do get a problem as far as I am concerned.I like the admin user interface and most of the time it is bang on but for someone trying to host a php/mysql site with their stupid remote sql database loading it can get a bit frustrating.
I am thinking of buying a dedicated box from them for wore use but if they cant keep my hobby gaming website up what chance have they got with a proper one.- Read Guest's review (250 words)

I can't really think of any good points, oh yes they are cheap and their billing is spot on, they always bill you on time.
I do not recommend OneAndOne. As far as I am concerned their customer service was extremely unhelpful in my experience. System is constantly going down!- Read pgjl's review (57 words)

Always online when I have tried, the only bad point for me is OneAndOne rules and regs, but this is expected. Therefore, dont have a problem with them as they have always given good service, well recommend this web hosting company.- Read Guest's review (41 words)

It seems some of the reviewers want an awful lot for peanuts. My own experience is good. My site: www.food-excellence.com has been with 1&1 for over four years - without regret. I use their (free) website creator to upload images etc to my site and everything runs smooth and efficient. Access to the site is fast and I can upload NEWS in minutes from anywhere.
Having said all that a little tweaking would make the wscreator an even better visual interface. A happy foodie...- Read Werner Schulz's review (100 words)

I have also been attracted to oneandone.co.uk by their prices, although I have purchased only domain names from them. For £4.68, I bought a .org.uk domain name for 2 years. Checking this evening, I discovered that the domain was due to expire tomorrow and I hadn't had an email from the company requesting payment. I had contacted them by email twice a few weeks beforehand and never received a response and then was put through to a call centre in America where every time I queried the price, ...- Read Guest's review (142 words)

The staff are very polite and friendly but if the problem is slightly more complex than the standard text book answers you have a problem as it takes a significant amount of time for them to grasp the point. More specialised areas are needed.- Read fiona1000's review (44 words)

I had a very bad experience with OneAndOne web hosting. Once I missed a payment and my account was immediately referred to their collection agency. They even sent my personal details. I complained, and staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. Never again.- Read mntoner's review (45 words)

My experience of one and one was they delete my website content, then when I tried to get technical support, I spoke to someone in a call centre that didn't speak good English who then informs me that I "have to put the content back yourself because there is no back up". Great! BOOO!!! Rubbish! Search for another hosting company!- Read pongalini's review (61 words)

I have had 1&1 double-invoice and double-charge me for 6 of my domains. They have yet to refund me. Their excuse? None. Not even - sorry.
They keep changing my files and .htaccess files without my approval. They are currently blacklisted by Hotmail/MSN and are doing nothing to fix that.
Their customer service is horrible, rude and incompetent. I have to email them about 20 times to get anything sorted. They appear to be not technically trained.
They are simply not worth it. Dealing wit ...- Read kavakava's review (93 words)

I am too having lots of problems with 1 and 1. Have you seen the guarantee they offer at their website? 99.99 per cent uptime! I have never yet getting this uptime in any month I have been with them. I rang their support number and asked how they backed this up, they just ignored the question and kept telling me they are doing everything they can to get it working - that's not a guarantee!
It's bad enough having all your websites go down, but they then put a page up directing your visitors to ...- Read tonyscomp's review (152 words)

After having had various teething problems when I initially joined 1and1 web hosting, everything seemed to be fine until the end of last month, when all my web space was moved to an 'auxiliary' server, because apparently I was using too much bandwidth or was over some quota.
The fact that I've never once come close to using the available bandwidth (20Gb per month), and I use only 3% of my file allocations and 60% of the available space, the same argument is being put forward again and again a ...- Read shahcrew's review (340 words)

Enough is Enough. We are looking to change to another provider, we would have changed some time ago but I am sure when we try to change provider, One and One will make this just as difficult as all other requests/services they try to provide.
