I have been using tel3 for about 7 years now. I call three different countries in Latin America. They beat any card out there and many other services. Sometimes when phone traffic is heavy, calls get misrouted and someone else answers phone and the person I am calling gets a call from someone else in the States. They have a very convenient way of accessing account online and making shortcuts for the numbers you use frequently. Every once in while things go haywire and access numbers do not work or they do not get set up right online. They usually take care of the problem. Sometimes it takes several times to get the problem corrected. The system is far from perfect but if you call out of the country often you can save a lot of money and most of the time get a clear connection that does not get interrupted very much. I am sticking with them. I do not feel I have ever been ripped off by them. You get what you pay for.

You get mediocre service for mediocre payment.Good features especially

I have used many phone cards and online long distance phone services, but nothing compares to my satisfaction with Tel3Advantage. I live in Canada and for a while I could only use their 800 number because they had cancelled their Canadian service, but customer service did get back to me in a reasonable time frame to re-connect me (albeit with the 800 number, calls cost 1 cent per minute more). But local access to Canadian cities is back, and I couldn't be happier. All my calls have gone through just fine, even though they have provisions to use another carrier if lines are full (you do ##*#). But I have never had this problem. So all in all, my favourite online LD service.
