Went into my local store in Grimsby,, asked to buy one of the washing machines an Indeset model £219, the man that served us said " you can't buy that because it's on sale tomorrow!" I asked why I couldn't have it at the price that was on it, he looked at me blank and said "no it's on sale tomorrow" I asked him why I couldn't buy it now he said "no it's a head office decision???" Only 5 months old and screen has gone already.contacted currys who said they would call back but never did.had to keep phoning them.eventually told me to contact Samsung UK technical services to arrange an engineer.they wanted photos of the fault and also the receipt.this has gone on for 2 days and no indication of when this will get looked at.completely rubbish currys and Samsung.will never use either again.please avoid at all costs… Read Full Review

“Quick Version - DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CURRYS....”

I made an attempt to buy an American Fridge Freezer. I made it explicitly clear that I live in a three storey town house and therefore my kitchen is on the first floor. I was told that this was 'no problem at all', how wrong could I be. I purchased a cooker and the website said that a 2hr delivery slot could be made for a fee. When I tried to book an available slot the slot was then unavailable. Had a live chat with curries to be told they didn't actually do a 2 hr slot and it shouldn't be on the website but would be advised of a 4hr slot on the day. “Condenser Dryer”

I bought the Hotpoint Condenser dryer in Currys sale. I chose Hotpoint as my previous dryer was a Hotpoint and was brilliant. This one is terrible, takes forever to dry things and I have to keep stopping it to untangle the washing. My old tumble dryer didn't tangle clothes, dried in half the time so when buying this one I thought it would be the same. Definitely a bad idea buying this load of rubbish… Read Full Review

I bought a new laptop today 7/2/2016, i could not fault the service. The chap who served me, was first class, he gave me lots of advice, and saved me some money at the same time. It was a pleasure to deal with someone who was not just there to take your money. He was genuine and friendly, and i will be shopping again in Curry's for a new fridge freezer. KnowHow tricked my daughter when she needed her laptop keyboard replaced. They told her the disk was also faulty and charged £100 for a new one. When the laptop finally came back the disk they'd fitted was second hand !! Not only that but they expected her to copy all her stuff over (how?) so had given her "the old disk" so she could do that. Ordered an American style fridge freezer with next day delivery, time slot of 1.35 till 5.35. After unplugging my own freezer and moving it outside ready I got a call at 2.30 to say they were unable to deliver it today as the driver had been ill.....2.30 Friday afternoon I personally think he felt like he needed a few pints? I ordered a washing machine n tumble dryer for my daughter on the 23rd December, and was delighted when they delivered on Xmas eve. The tumble dryer was not working and only today have been able to get replacement delivered. The first and today's delivery men were miserable and not accommodating. Short version... I took my laptop to be fixed at the Knowhow Dunfermline store. Paid £100 and my laptop came back broken. Was sent away a further three times and still not fixed. Then tried to charge me an additional £50 because 90 days had passed since it went away originally. Shoddy service and awful customer service. Refused a refund and they refused to fix it. Went to Grimsby store on boxing day 2015. Bought Macbook Air. Told it wasn't in stock but may be on following Monday. It wasn't. Told to try Thursday but mid-afternoon to make stock was unloaded. Thursday told it had arrived but as they were closing early for New Year there wasn't time to find it. Went once more on the Friday to be told computer said it had arrived but they couldn't find it. Got a tv for a new kitchen. We didn't unpack it immediately and waited for the kitchen to be fitted and then installed the tv. There was a crack through the screen so called Currys to order a replacement. I was told that as it was over 48hours since delivery, they will not exchange it! I pointed out that it had been 11 days since delivery and the tv had just come out of theb box and onlyo nce fitted, the damage was identified.
