Been in Curry's in Cheltenham today, i don`t know how they manage it, honestly ...i`ve checked online before to get a staff, when i came there,the poor guy checked at-least 7 times for a different configuration of a laptop. Had to return a day old kettle, leaking, called first to see if they had another, yes I was told, drove all the way back, about 10 miles, only to be told none in stock. looked on display and there was one, not showing on computer? I had a fridge freezer delivered and the agreement was that Currys would take away the old appliance. When the delivery man arrived, the first thing he commented on was the size (big)of my old appliance. I live on the first floor and there is no lift. 4 years back, before the Football world cup, I bought a TV from one of their store. The tv was on promotion with a free blue ray disc player. The price for tv was qualifying for the cash goal offer i.e. customer buying certain price tv would get £10 for every goal scored by England Team. “AVOID CURRY'S & PC WORLD - KNOWHOW IS 'NOGOOD'”

Avoid their KnowHow service. The don't have the skills and you are better off arranging a qualified electrician who will do the work for less. Even their delivery time service is no better than a 4hr window, only available the night before, so you cannot even simply coordinate an electrician around the same time. Why do you need an electrician? If your appliance is hardwired (not a plug) only a few of their delivery teams have these skills. You will pay the money, then they will leave it… Read Full Review

I went to Currys at Pas Cloch in Wrexham to buy a Surface Pro 2 and wanted to confirm it would connect to a separate monitor. The salesman told me no way on earth it could connect to a separate monitor. He bluntly asked why I wasn't getting a Mac? Could not figure out the reason for this question. “Bunch of lazy, lying rip off merchants!!!!”

Purchased a kettle last week from this useless company. They can't even be bothered to dispatch it! The cheeky gits charged my card immediately and Currys have the nerve to tell me that I have to wait a further 3-5 days for delivery, once dispatched!!!! Hotpoint drier ordered on line delivered 31st December 2013. A grinding noise after plug in. Contacted Currys by phone put through to Hotpoint they would send engineer on January 6th.[stated we do not want an engineer just a replacement]. No replacement before engineer visit, stated we do not want a repaired tumble drier just a new one. Visited store they tried seven different phone numbers unable to help. The online buy web have a bug. It allows express delivery to not allowed postal codes.
