We bought a fridge and freezer from Currys at Derby I went down to the store on Wednesday I paid in full and for the early time slot on Sunday morning 7 till 10 because they were fully booked I at 10.07 I received a call from the driver saying they would be there in 10 mins 10.30 they arrived one of the drivers said he did not get into work till 8 i'd ben up since 6.30 I am not impressed with there attitude at all dont think I will be having there delivery service again

Bought a microwave in march from Harrogate store broke down in November retuned it to store and was offered refund or new machine as they did not have same model in at the time we were promised one the next day sure enough we got new one.
We are very happy with the service we got hats off to harrogate store, well recommend currys.co.uk.

Reserved a 50in tv over the phone, was given a reservation no. Was told take it by close of business the next day. my husband did the 29mile trip to Aberystwyth taking with him the all important no, not thinking to take identification with him but who else would have that reservation no? At the shop he was told he should have brought identification with him. I recently bought an LCD TV from Currys Burnley branch. The picture was great but the sound was terrible when I hooked it up to my hi-fi. Customer Services (helpline) told me to take it back to the store, but when I got there they refused to accept the fault because EVERY DMTECH TV in the store had the same fault!

Went into local Curry's near Fareham, selected the cooker we wanted, salesman most helpful and filled in necessary info on in-store computer. Gave us delivery date and time - with a phone number to ring day before delivery just to confirm.
Delivery man rang 30 minutes before delivery due - arrived on time, fitted new cooker and removed old one. No problem.
Will use Curry's again

We ordered a Nintendo Wii using their online facility, delivery was within 1 to 3 days. We received an email confirming the order. 3 days passed and we heard nothing, I rang them on the 4th day and was given the run around by ringing several departments including DHL. Staff standing behind counter not even asking can we help you after spending some time looking at T.V S we left the Curry shop .Some weeks later we required a new cooker so we tried a Curry store in a different area only once again to find the same thing plus when you finely got some one to speak to they had no clear knowledge of what they were selling or of payments. You have already lost two sales from us.

I can only advise prospective cutomers of Currys store that, in our experience, the on-line reservation system just doesn't work. The store is not bothered enough to do anything about it. Curry's on-line reserve and collect service simply has not worked! We reserved the required item for collection [a 15" TV ] and received confirmation from the store. Unfortunately it had a big dent in the door (probably because delivery men had removed wrapping prior to its arrival which I believe is not supposed to happen). Promised delivery of replacement Friday but rang delivery phone line and found they had no record of replacement delivery time. They were apologetic and provided a new date which was suitable. The delivery man brought my appliances to my home, but took them away undelivered as he did not know which of the 3 days bells to press, which delayed the delivery at a time when I was due to give birth and desperately needed a new washing machine. Despite complaining to Currys about this, and offering to pay another delivery charge, Currys could not be flexible enough to reschedule the delivery at a quicker than normal time.

Currys are fine if you are at home all day every day. I arranged delivery for a particular day, and the night before, I rang, only to find out that the item was booked for another day completely.

I'm very pleased with my purchase.
I've got a Bosch washing machine delivered, installed and tested, plus the dead one removed, for £258 all in. The product is excellent and the service has been exemplary. Curry's have been given a lot of stick for their service but when a company gets things right they deserve that fact to be recognized. Well done.

I ordered an American type fridge/freezer from www.currys.co.ukand was quoted a price including home delivery. It was then further specified in the acknowledgements that delivery would be to my flat.
When they delivered, the fridge/freezer was just dumped in the entrance hall and left there.
It cost me a over £120.00 to get it taken up to my flat so the item wasn't as cheap as I thought!

Currys have bad customer service. No value for money. I am now stuck with a faulty TV I paid 600 pounds for because when I took it back to one of the stores I was told if we can't see the fault we can't replace or refund your money back. The staff at the store were saying that there was no fault with the TV and didn't believe me, I explained the colour on the TV goes funny from time to time, I have reported this matter to trading standards and am waiting for a good result.
