Just called into St Helens branch of CURRYS to buy a £300 camera. Arrived at 7 30pm and went straight to camera counter. Cameras were 3ft behind the counter so couldnt even see properly what we wanted to buy. Waited for 15 mins and no one even came near to help us. So at 7 45 we walked out. “Unprofessional ”

Ordered a TV and took annual leave for the delivery date. Received an email to say what time it would be coming and it never arrived. Had to call them this morning to find out what happened and was told the van had broken down. 1. It is unprofessional not to call and explain the problem so that we don't wait in for hours wondering where it is. You had a four hour time period to tell us it wasn't coming. 2. “No after sale service”

Purchased a washing machine which was fitted incorrectly by Currys resulting in back flow of water into machine. In store I was advise that I had to phone or email the company. Contacted them several times...when you phone they keep you on hold or just keep passing you from one person to another or the manufacture when its an installation problem. “Kenwood Cooker”

Bought cooker less than 3 months ago. Looks good but thats about it. The main oven stopped working when it was 11 weeks old. Phoned repair line and told them the element had gone. waited 2 weeks for an engineer to come out , only for him to tell me that the element had gone and he had to order it. Its now over 3 weeks. “Brand new Oven not working and poor customer service”

I bought a new oven in the shop and carried it home. My dad installed but it was faulty. After 50 minutes on the phone to various customer service numbers we were told we had to bring it back to the shop to get a new one or get the money back. They wouldn't come to change it otherwise. I would have expected them to send me a new one and take the faulty away within a week and install for free without me having to bring it back to the shop and wait for 1.30 hours. It finally arrived 2.5 hours late at which point the one member of the delivery crew who could speak English knocked on our door and opened with the line "I have your fridge but you have to carry it inside yourself." This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Bought a new BOSCH SMS58E22GB dishwasher on 12th January with delivery for 17th Jan. Machine arrived damaged and couldn't be installed - taken away. Ordered a tumble dryer via click and collect. went to Gateshead shop following day. took ages to be served, paid with my debit card then informed they didn't have it in stock. Most unhelpful choosing a replacement so they re-credited my card and informed would take 3-5 working days for my funds to be back in my account. “Not very professional, rushing my installation to get...”

18th December 2014, two men from KnowHow turned up to install my gas hob. They were early so no complaints there 4:30 - 8:30pm time slot. That's where the positives end. Here is a quote from the website. 'To save you the hassle, we'll take away and recycle your old appliance, along with any packaging when we deliver your new one.' Don't believe a word it.
