Good Points: This three volume set contains a wide variety of tempting treats which are vegan, and low in fat and sweeteners. Cookie choices can suit any palate, and quickbreads and muffins are light, flavorful, and varied. The only real problem is making a choice.
Bad Points: Measurements are in US units (cups, tablespoons, etc.) Books have been overshadowed by recent releases from higher profile publishers.
General comments: I have never had a recipe fail from one of these books, nor baked anything that I thought was less than good. Some recipes, like the chocolate halva cookies, are so good they only stay in the house a day. Nothing is ever too dry (not even the wheat free choices), or heavy or doughy. With most recipes, you would have to be told they were vegan. The instructions are easy to follow ("Cookies, Cookies, Cookies" is a favorite book of the eight year old daughter of a co-worker). Indexes by key ingredients and to find ingredient sources add to the utility of the volumes.
