I purchased some of their colossus strawberry plants. They said on the programme this is the size of the plugs you will receive..... Some of them are so small they look as though they will not survive . I have bought other things from garden bargains with mixed results and have contacted them for a refund several times but I thought I would try once more which was a mistake. The quality of their products has definitely worsened.

I got talked into this over the phone when I was at a very low ebb due to a bereavement and I subsequently wasted my first year at £79. I was also bewildered that they took more money for things I did not want or ask for. I felt better the following year and eventually took notice of the rewards but decided to cancel the next membership. I did use my £10 Sainsburys gift voucher - although that has to be authorised over the phone. Why?? I also got a voucher for an afternoon tea. Which would be great if it was valid for anywhere less than 50 miles from me. There were other bits and bobs you can get on groupon - such as a family portrait etc. The most infuriating things were the eurocamp and megabus. I was denied these because I wasn't renewing my membership, although I hadn't claimed these rewards the previous year so have had virtually nothing for my £158 plus add ons ( curry club?? Buy 1 get 1 free pizza?? No thanks)Oh yes - I had some 'free' seeds. The final straw was with my 'free' flight, supposedly valid for up to £100. I had excitedly planned to fly to Europe for my non existent Eurocamp holiday. What I didn't know was that they send you a list of three options of where THEY want you to fly from and to from their approved list! I didn't particularly want any of their options, but was willing to pay any extra for local flights and different destinations. However, you had to fill in THREE different flights and THREE different dates so they could authorise one of them! Well hello, but in my world booking leave with your partner is tricky enough for one date let alone three! Plus it would then have to go back to them for their approval before they finally let you in on the big secret of when you can travel. I gave up and booked a holiday. I got back in touch with the club and asked how long my flight voucher would be valid for and was told it was no longer valid as my membership had expired, although when I got the voucher a few weeks ago I was a fully paid up member! Amazingly enough I was encouraged to sign up for another year to take advantage of these wonderful 'free' offers. No thanks Ideal World. This club stinks. It's designed to put as many obstacles as possible in your way so you just give up. And look out for the rubbish add ons that they charge you for unless you return them asap.

Purchased Beldray 2 in 1 and could not get handle off to make it hand held. Contacted both Beldray, who didn't recognize the product or product number, and Ideal world could not help so they arranged pick-up. I only wanted to get the handle off !!! There is a more substantial Beldray product that seems to work better, from reviews. Very disappointed as wanted to use while crafting but filters clogged quickly and didn't pick up. Sad.

I think it is a load of junk I have done similar tests on other drills and had similar results. I am stuck with the package as to return it on postage charges alone it will cost me £10.00 so that is down the drain As to the 10 year guarantee the postage charges are more than enough to cover the cost of any of the drills that are guaranteed. In my opinion just another rip off

What has happened to ideal world since this ex bid TV presenter joined, the new promotions and hour auctions before the price goes back up is rubbish, the new promotion of the presenters dressed up as cowboys is embarresing it all seems to have got really cheap looking since this presenter joined. The other presenters are fine but please no bid TV type gimmicks because it makes this program look really cheap and tacky just like the aforementioned show.

The item itself is very good and does the job well - Ideal Worlds first line of customer service however is awful. From taking this into the garden to the strimmer head disintegrating took about 10 minutes - to be honest it looked a bit brittle to start with and I wasn't that surprised, so I thought I'll get in touch with customer services and explain the situation and that I need 1 small part replacing and they'll sort it. After two phone calls (one very long) I gave up after been told repeatably to arrange to ship the whole thing back (now containing petrol and not need shipping back, wouldn't be safe to and I only wanted a part)and eventually I told them I would not ship back, would buy the part and would they refund?, to which they said yes - I suspect to get rid of me because they must of been well off script by then. I was taking a risk here because I didn't have any confidence in getting a refund at all but did need the tool. I bought the replacement part, fitted it and sent the receipt to UK customer services (Serco) who were very good and did refund immediately for the part saving me a couple of weeks of hassle shipping the item back and to - so it worked out OK in the end for me - but then I knew what I was playing with and how to fix it and was prepared to do the running around, if I didn't/wasn't I suspect I would have just written it off as a lesson learned. In short I'm not sure how the call center actually added any value to the experience, I could have taken the same gamble without involving them or my blood pressure!

Having ordered a plant pot with 3 clematis I then waited for quite a long time for delivery;there was,at one stage,no sign of my order on my account. Tried to contact the Customer care department several times,on several of given numbers, gave up eventually and emailed them. Reply came back and suddenly my order details were available to see in my account. Eventually, the order arrived. Plants looked OK; a saucer which presumably goes under the pot was smashed up - not surprisingly,as it is a pathetic, thin bit of plastic. I then telephoned the Customer care department again and a nice gentleman tried to help but, unfortunately,I could hardly understand him;after a while told me I would need to call again later as the "computers were very slow". I then sent another email informing Ideal World about faulty goods;email, because I had no intention of spending more time and money - quite a lot of money as their numbers are charged at an exorbitant rate. So far I have not heard back and there appears to be no trace of the order in my account summary (again). I have shopped with the I.W. since 2007,overall it has not been too bad but in last year the quality of service has gone right down. I don't feel I want shop with them again, and as for recommending this shopping channel to a friend - definitely not. Sorry,Ideal World.

I bought a Dormeo Mattress from ideal world on the 5/10/13 and was told delivery would be between 3 and 5 working days and delivered by Hermes. On Saturday the 12/10/13 i recieved the two free pillows but no mattress so i phoned the customer service number as an e mail to me said my order had been delivered. The guy who answered the phone told me not to worry and that my mattress would be delivered but couldn't say when. i checled the Hermes tracking service and it showed that the item was en route to courier this was dated 14/10/13. the mattress was delivered today 15/10/13 but still the Hermes tracker hasn't changed. I have bought from Ideal World before and this is the worsgt service I have recieved. Poor customer service it definately is.

Customers should do research before ordering and as most items are cheaper with other companies and there is no postage or packing charges. Also the telephone number is not a premium rate one. The product demonstrated on the channel may not have good reviews even if bought elsewhere, eg steam mops - the reviews I have read, give the 'Black and Decker' good ratings, and it has 'an in-built water filter and uses tap water'. I do not own this machine but would consider buying it, but locally ie 'Argos'. I do buy some items from 'Create and Craft' but research the prices first as some items are £10 cheaper from other retailers with no p+p! I agree that customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Should have review this Company, before shopping with them, their products is not quality, I found out the hard way, they don't care about their customers, only your money, listen to what other customers have to say about this company and avoid avoid avoid.

The disappointing thing was that initially we had to pay additional postage for 1 item even though all items were ordered together. Postage is SO EXPENSIVE with IDEAL WORLD. I brought this to the attention of Cust.serv. but they did not want to know. The items were received promptly but did not "do as it said on the tin" I believe the control shapewear was intended for YOUNGER TALLER models Rarely do you see clothing demonstrated by older smaller women! but it still did not fulfill the purpose for which it was intended. Good point we receive a prompt refund ( not postage of course)

So, I hesitantly purchased Proto-col package from Ideal World tv. The products arrived within 4 days. Once the products were opened, I noticed they weren't full. I waas NOT getting the full 50ml's as stated on the product. Ths is just as much Proto-cols' fault but I feel Ideal World has left the products sit for some time and they have evaporated. There is no way to review this on IW. I have endevoured to reach customer service to no avail. Never ever again will I ourchase from this channel. Oh, they have run me 3 times to ask for feedback but when I bring up the above concerns they tell me I have to ring CS!!!! They are a joke!

I ordered a sewing machine for a Christmas gift from Create and craft, this arrived damaged, spoke several times to so called customer services ..what a waste of time....and costly the sewing machine was collected on 28th December 2012 and am still waiting for my refund.. it has been one excuse after another I will never use them again it's shoddy goods , bad service at inflated prices , I have had no apology or explanation as to why they were delivered in that condition despite numerous emails to their service dept. I have even emailed their CEO who had not had the decency to reply.... I would urge anyone who is considering buying from them not to be taken in by all the flannel on the TV programmes they do not live up to this at all.

probably the most dangerouse piece of equiptment in your kitchen and thats including knives. this is if you choose to buy one of course, reason; i have noticed in the last few days that the chef tony blender when being used on the shopping chanel is facing the viewer, you may think that this is done so that you may see it better while being used. the demonstrator has to reach around to the front of the machine to operate the switches;why is that; BECAUSE the on of switch is overly sensitive, featherlite i would say. the switch is vilain of this piece. the switch is what most people would say is fitted upside down, you have to push it downwards to turn it on. the switch is overly exposed and very very sensitive. this switch can set the blender in motion with the mere touch of a tea towel draped over the shoulder while cooking. this happened to me on christmas eve while wizzing up some turkey bones and making stock. i finished making the stock,it makes it so liquid that it will pass through a fine sive, ive done it before and was impressed with the results. i had turned the machine off, took the lid off to inspect the results and lifted a tablespoon so that i may taste it,i lent towards the open container. would you adam and eve it, it turns on they do make a lot of noise anyway so it would make you jump. the mixture flys out just like in a comedy routine. i get the whole lot in my face OH YEA, but the liquid is boiling in an instant i have second and third degree burns to my lips nose [ down to the flesh] left side of face including my left eye. the great being in the sky did let me keep my eye but it was touch and go.buckets of ice, colapsed with shock[2 days]face scared. still recovering. made cover for switch ,cost pence.make sure if you use one to turn it off and then turn off the main switch before touch it again. [email protected] lets be carefull out there, much love.

I received my order this morning and when I opened it the silver seal had already been half opened and when I removed the plastic lid I could see that the pot was less than half full. I also had the night cream which was the same size and in perfect condition, neadless to say I was not happy! Now to get in touch with ideal world to make my complaint :-((((( wish me luck.

I recently purchased a packard bell laptop and the camera failed to operate so I had to return the faulty laptop which cost me £24.50 to send it by special delivery as you suggest for goods over a certain amount. I haven't been impressed with the customer service I had received so requested I be refunded the £349.99 I had paid for the laptop plus the costs of receiving and returning the faulty product. I have had a refund of £349.99 which was the cost of the laptop but have not been refunded the costs I have incurred to return the faulty laptop which exceeds £30.00. Now I not only don't have a laptop but have incurred extra cost on top. I am an extremely disgruntled customer! This was my first purchase with Ideal World and unless I receive a refund for my postage costs it will be my last!

I purchased a steam cleaner from Ideal World UK TV shopping channel December last year. It was on offer at a good price and so I snapped it up. You have to wait ages to place an order with this company and you pay something ridiculous (over a pound) per minute on the phone. To get to the point, I received my steam cleaner and was very pleased with it. It worked for a couple of months (I had used it about 4 times during that period). Then, one day it just stopped steaming. It had water in it, I was using it correctly but it just stopped steaming. I went through immense frustration and needless stress when trying to contact the customer service department by email. I wrote email after email without a reply. Finally got a reply and was given a date for pick up of the steam cleaner. It was collected and I signed for it. It was clearly marked with a letter inside and I couldn't have made it easier for the recipient to understand. Now I didn't hear anything for weeks and weeks, not giving dates or anything like that here but I can do. I finally phoned Customer Service Ideal World who were useless. They are based overseas and their accent is very difficult to understand. The operatives seem to read from a script. I was finally told that my steam cleaner had never arrived at their warehouse!!!!! I had my receipt here for the collection of the item and I insisted on being sent a new steam cleaner. Well, would you believe it, it wasn't in stock at the time. Had to wait a few weeks for it. Got my new cleaner and was pleased. I used it THREE times and the same thing happened again. It just stopped steaming! I was furious. Once again I had done nothing wrong for the machine to stop working. I was promised a full refund for the item 2 weeks ago. Ha ha no such refund has gone into my account. The only way I can get to correspond with this company is by using their facebook page. If you phone the customer service you hang on for ages (costing Pounds and Pounds!).. when you do get through it's like explaining something to someone from another planet! An operative from UK Ideal World customer service did phone me today following some remarks I had made on Facebook earlier. I asked her why I hadn't got the full refund as promised and she said that her seniors would only offer £25 credit on my Ideal Account for me to purchase something from them. She said the refund would go into my account immediately. It hasn't! Now, I wanted a steam cleaner almost a year ago, I need a steam cleaner, I have been through almost a year of frustration and being messed around by this company. Would you not think that out of goodwill they would stick to their word. Please think before you buy from them. The selling skills of their tv presenters is second to none... they could sell ice to an eskimo! Yes, I'm sure most of their items are good HOWEVER, if you do have a problem with an item what you will go through trying to get a refund or a replacement will have you pulling your hair out and you will wish you had never tuned into their TV channel! Little Yello Steam Cleaner

Oh gosh I just paid £105 for one of these. I then read the reviews and have spent 56 mins on the phone with no answer. I have emailed them as it won't have been dispatched yet but no answer. Hoping I can cancel the payment. Wish I had read this before.

Bought a stand mixer which was advertised with delivery with 3 - 5 days. After 7 days I tried to contact their customer service centre..... well I may as well have not wasted my breath or phone call. I was told that the item had tried to be delivered a number of times and we had not been in! This was not the case and in fact there had been 3 family members in the house on each day, so I was then told our door bell must be faulty??? I was even told that the delivery company had tried to deliver 20 minutes ago but no-one was in ermmm how could that be when I had been on the telephone to them and sat by the front door for the last 45 minutes... complete joke. Item turned up 3 days after, but probably only because I asked them to cancel my order! Also do not let them put you on hold, you will be there forever and they do not come back to you!

I bought from Ideal World over 12 months ago and it was a little slow coming and communication was lacking, but I thought they had a good deal today on the Polti steam cleaner so I had a go. First they didn't accept my password so they said they would email to my aol address. All emails I sent to them came back undeliverable! I have put my debit card details on the account and now I cannot delete them. Any suggestions would be helpful. I did like the presentation on tv! I would have like to have known how difficult it was to purchase online.

I quite agree with you worst set of drill I have bought I have burnt out 3 of the so called indestructible drill bits poor quality rubbish
