    Had to give one star as system doesn't allow no star.

    Still chasing Ideal World for a craft item missing from June, 2009. Emails ignored, letters ignored. Have spoken several times to off-shore "customer service" (hollow laugh!) centre. Agents speak perfect English.....until they realise that the call is a complaint when they suddenly lose not only any ability to understand English but also their sense of hearing. Twice got through to on-shore call centre. Was given the third degree (they could teach the KGB a thing or two) and then told to fill in a missing goods form which would be sent to me. And how long did the form take to get here> Dunno, I'm still waiting in November!

    If I was asked as a shopper on Ideal World (Ironically named) whther they should purchase goods from this channel I would have to say absolutely NO, your phonebill will be enormous, you'll never get any reply to emails, your goods probably won't turn up, an if you opt to spread the cost of your payments over 4 months or so....they will take the money in one go,should be re-named Immoral World.

    been waiting 23 days for my order to be delivered,worst customer services ever ,all non english people at the other end of the phone so i think we are being put through to India.the company dosent respond to any e mails will not recomend Idealworld to anybody you do not deserve anyones support

    like another reviewer I too decided to give Ideal World another chance and ordered the Ubisurfer and car charger, total cost about £165 about 2 weeks ago. Rang today to enquire whether product had been despatched and was told it had never been ordered and they couldn't tell me if they had taken money from my credit card. At this time I haven't been charged - but this was for a 21st birthday present which I thought was sorted. I have emailed customer services for an explanation but am not ...

    I ordered a Tom Tom Satalite navigation system from my brothers birthday. When it did not arrive I telephoned their customer service department to be greated by their indian call centre and someone called Alan. Although perhaps Alan was not his name.

    I ordered Grease Lightning Blockbuster with 8 large micro cloths. When the Cloths arrived, they sent me 4 small cloths at £9.99, how did they get this wrong when the large ones were advertised for the same price.     DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. They are not transparent and are difficult to contact, only via India call centre who can do nothing to help you. They take your money before sending the goods and do not keep you informed WHEN there is a delay in sending you the goods. They are RUBBISH.     Do not buy anything from this
    company they take your money and then have no means of being contacted, only via India call centre who can do nothing to help you. I have faulty goods and they have my money. PLEASE BEWERE!!

    We ordered a Bissell Powerwash and in a week or so the wrong item arrived. The telephony are foreign, rude and refused to offer a refund. I was offered a timed pickup time for the return of the wrong item that was missed only to be told that they do not have timed pick ups. I was told last week in the same call that the correct item had been shipped then they were out of stock. 5 e-mails to them have gone unanswered and I have been refused access to their complaints procedure.

    STAY WELL CLEAR! CHEAP NASTY AND NO NOTION OF CUSTOMER SERVICES! Got a sewing machine from them in September - it is awful - does not work, cheap and nasty and stalls every two minutes. Sent it back - at cost of over £8 to me (!!) and it was received by IW over 10 days ago. Refund time? Yes? NOOOO! Got sewing machine on easy pay and today second and final installment was taken from my account! Yes over 10 days since they received the faulty one back.

    Never trusted TV shopping channels, but in a weak moment ordered a Ryobi Multi Tool and accessories from Ideal World. Whilst model listed (RLT30HT) on invoice matched the model received it wasn't the same model as demonstrated (not touch button start). When I spoke to their Customer Services, no managers available, no way of checking what was actually shown on programme!     we ordered an item from ideal world and have had so many problems we are told by customer services that they have no managers to talk to also no trade association membership to complain to,i have arranged telephone callbacks from the company but with no managers you guessed it no call back ihave sent e~mails to them again no response, next step who knows but never again will i shop with ideal world,if only i had known how bad they were at customer service.

    I have ordered with Ideal World before, however this last order has been dreadful,
    incorrect item sent, courier collected a week later, I was told to wait 21 days for a replacement and when it never came I called the customer service line and was told that they would have to refund as the item was never returned back, this matter must be reported and I am taking the matter to Trading Standards, as their standards are quite clearly dropping!!

    I ordered a strimmer on 8th August 2009 and the presenter said we would have it by the next weekend. The money was taken from my credit card immediately but the strimmer never arrived. I phoned and was told that it was despatched by a separate company and they could only email the company and I would have to wait 4 days for a response.     They let you order and take your money and then after several phone calls and emails ( all unanswered ) because you have got fed up of waiting and summer turns to autum you find that it is out of stock. Not such an Ideal World after all is. Still havent got my money back either.

    I have just tried to order a sewing machine from Ideal World for a special needs grandchild
    I made phone call was hanging on listening to music, wasting my money then
    a foreign speaking lady came on could't understand what I was saying, said
    the line was bad and could I ring back, so I didn't place an order and will
    be billed for this phone call. I WILL NEVER MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN I AM

    Ideal World...hah,they have taken £334 from my account for an item ordered in good faith. It has not arrived and having read reviews of this company am now really concerned.Customer Services less than helpful.I am ignored having served my purpose it would seem. Sadly legal action for this sum of money.

    customer services on ideal world shopping channel need to be improved to attain the levels of qvc customer services who are brilliant.

    ideal world customer services are difficult to get through on the phone and although given an automated response to e mails,follow up to e mails are rarely, in my experience, made. perhaps customer services is a wrong title.

    I have ordered from Ideal World a couple of times and they are ok if you don't have to send back or ask for a refund. I ordered an item on 21 June 09, it didn't arrive but they still took the money out on the same day. I have been trying to get a refund for 6 weeks now without any success. I have called their 'Customer Services' which is a joke, English is the second language of most of the operators, they are not interested and you are kept holding on for 20-30 minutes each time.     deal with ideal world at your peril.if goods don't arrive they ignore your calls and e-mails,just automated replies.the goods are never as good as they look on screen - that's if they turn up at all.ideal - i don't think so.i don't think they deserve any stars but you have to give at least one.
