    WELL What can I say the Call centre is unable to take any order correctly. Customer Services never calls you back. Any vouchers you have they don't take off your order so your charged well over the amount you should pay. My answer is go to the shops give them your money at least you get to talk to them face to face. very very terrible service will never shop with them again.

    I ordered £74.93 worth of goods from Ideal World which i never received. 55 days and 14 phone calls later to there jokingly called "customer care"team I am still no closer to getting my money back.
    They are an ok company when things go right,but a nightmare if you have the smallest problem.
    I have tried to give a 0 STAR RATING but as this is not possible,I apologiese for the over generous 1star.

    Some of Ideal World's products are OK, although the Presenters over sell the items much of the time.

    ordered 2 phoenix canariensis palm trees in april repotted from Ideal World, noticed some plant growing up the sides, my gardening chappie said it was bind weed, so destroyed the plant. now the other is exhibiting same symptoms. I emailed them, said they would pass on to their grower, who would contact me. no such luck. if any other customers have ordered the same product, beware bind weed is dificult to get rid off.     I phoned to order something off Ideal World on their premium rate order line, & was kept waiting for over 6mins, being told (auto) to hold, until a further auto message told me to call back later!! So I will be charged for them wasting my time. As they get a rake off from premium numbers, I can only assume this is an intended form of extra revenue for them, which is absolutely disgraceful

    Am very disappointed with Ideal World call centre staff - extremely difficult to understand and discuss an issue with. When my item did not appear after the 10 day quoted delivery time (which is astonishing) I feared that my money was being taken without any recourse whatsoever. The call centre staff were unable to handle my complaint properly and the whole experience was thoroughly exhausting and I will not use them again. Eventually my item dit arrive thankfully.

    I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF IDEAL WORLD FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE PURCHASED MANY ITEMS FROM THEM. WHEN EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM BUT AS SOON AS AN ITEM IS NOT DELIVERED, THAT IS WHEN THE COMPANY IS TOTALLY USELESS. THEY HAVE A RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICES WHO ONLY ANSWER E-MAILS EVERY 7 DAYS, (I WILL NOT RING THEM UP AS YOU ARE ON THE PHONE FOR AGES AND NOTHING IS SORTED OUT) THE ONLY ANSWER YOU GET IS, IT WILL GET THERE BE PATIENT.

    I used to order flyflots from Ideal World because I did not know where else to purchase them. I then found shoe-shop.com on line and now purchase all my footwear from them. The service is first class and the postage and packing is cheaper even, sometimes,free. As for other items ordered, they have nearly all been rubbishy and cheap looking and I do not have any dealings with them any more

    i ordered on 27.3.09, they took the money out of my account that day. i rang up to chase it on 9.4.09, the recorded message said it had been dispatched on 30.3.09 with eta of 4.4.09. so i went through to customer service who said it had only been dispatched on 4.4.09 with eta of 14.4.09.i rang today, 15/4/09, recorded message still said eta 4.4.09. spoke to cus serv who said it was dispatched today! with eta of 25.4.09, asked her foher supervisor, she put me on hold for 46 min 16seconds! yes ...

    Ideal world is not a bad shopping channel, until something goes wrong and then its absolutly dreadful.
    Trying to sort out problems, with wrong items being delivered and other items not being sent. It took me 6 phone calls all of which had to be paid for at premium time and then a letter before my complaint was sorted out. No one ever contacted me.

    Ordered a product from Ideal World for £63.00 and waited and waited for delivery. Phoning them numerously, I was given nothing but excuses finally being told that the courier had lost the item.

    I can go one better on this company! Last year I ordered 30 Perennial Plug Plants at £19.99 + £4.90 p&p. Didn't receive the order so went on line to check the status of my order.     The goods were never delivered from Ideal World and now I am unable to obtain a refund despite numerous telephone calls and emails. The call centre staff do not understand or speak English very well. I would definitively advise everyone not to buy anything from this company.

    In early February, I ordered two items of jewellery from Ideal World, from the Diamtaire range, a pendant and a ring. I received the pendant, which was beautiful but to date have not received the ring. I have sent several e-mails, telephoned from Ireland on several occasions, but no joy yet.     Ideal World - Not very ideal from the customer's point of view. I ordered goods on 15 Dec. Did not arrive. I had to send 2 emails and eventually phone to get a response and finally got a refund.     I ordered 2 items from Ideal World a month ago, not received. They were received by Couriers early Feb. No delivery was made to me, they were returned from Couriers 4 days later, confirm, when I made my second phone call. I was sent forms to sign for non-receipt, (no envelope provided), forms signed and returned over a week ago and no refund as yet.     Due to illness around the Christmas period I upped my internet shopping and also ordered several items from Ideal World. I watched for the post eagerly but soon felt the need to telephone due to their non appearance. When it did arrive,the underwear I ordered appeared with a scag in the leg.     I have to say after returning the T.V PACKAGE- i wrote to IDEAL WORLD to make sure i recieved ALL my money back, i got every penny-even the p&p-plus money i spent on making phone calls to them. All in all, quite good-but i'll NEVER deal with IDEAL WORLD again.

    I wrote to the Chief Executives Office on 3 separate occasions last year, 1 was for failure to deliver, and apparently not even bothering to tell me why - then it took 14 phone calls [which are expensive] to get a refund.

    2nd time was when they sold chocolates which looked as though they were well past their sell-by date and were white and looked dreadful, got a refund only after writing to the Chief Executive's office again.
