Today waited all day for a parcel to arrive byHermes, I never left my property.i found a note through my letterbox to say sorry I missed you. They never rang the doorbell! I bought a sitNcyce and a screw was missing, it cost me a fortune on the phone call but they said they would send it, but it was never received, similar, I ordered a vibrapower belt, which was faulty, so they asked me to send it all back. “Worst experience ever”

ordered two memory foam mattresses. Two were sent to my Hermes but apparently sent straight back as both mattresses had one barcode and not two separate barcodes as required. Ideal world the sent another two with yet again one barcode and yet again they were sent back. Finally one mattress arrived however the invoice stated the quantity was two. I ordered a Nutribullet from ideal world on the 19th of April.. I received an email on the 21st of April at 8pm saying that the delivery would be in the next 24 hours. I recently purchased a Karcher pressure hose from Ideal World after seeing the product demonstrated on their television channel but had to cancel as the product was in fact a duplicate purchase. Despite telephoning the recommended number on the sales invoice(which connects to sales staff in India)to cancel, I discovered that IW had a cancellation policy which required me to receive the product first and then arrange for a return of the product before they could re-arrange a refund. I have now learnt to record their presentations to prove they are NOT providing in full exactly what you have paid for. There is the ongoing saga with an offer that was aired 10/03/15. 2x Tower pot kit and 6 Jumbo flowering clematis. Firstly I only received 5 clematis. I have never written a review but after such a bad experience I had to let people know the bad experience I have had. I'm still in shock knowing a well established organisation has so much inconsistencies and bad customer service. After a long wait plus several calls to unhelpful customer service my plant pot & plants eventually arrived .The plant pot was broken and it looked very cheap plastic, all of the plants were dead .This cost £26 00 for a pot I could have bought for around £2.00 at the garden centre .Cheap horrible product not at all like it was presented on the the TV channel. Ordered item in feb. Received but it was broken so returned. Replacement was requested now in april and still no items. Been advised to wait 10 days, then another 10 days and so on. Spoke to a manager who advised he would try and get it sorted and ring back, never rang back and still nothing. Have not received my money back either. Sent a dangerous overheating laptop. Rang customer service,.first rep swore and hung up on me after telling me to ring Dell. I think it is a load of junk I have done similar tests on other drills and had similar results. I am stuck with the package as to return it on postage charges alone it will cost me £10.00 so that is down the drain As to the 10 year guarantee the postage charges are more than enough to cover the cost of any of the drills that are guaranteed. Ordered an exercise bike body sculpture. In one trainer which arrived on time but had a fault so contacted Ideal World for uplift. Arranged to take a day off work (no pay) and uplift was from 8 am to 8 pm. Courier never turned up so phoned ideal world to arrange another uplift but said I would not want a weekday as I couldn't take another day off. “have my money and the goods, sending debt collection...”

I purchased two Bissel items one November the other December 2014. After the fourteen day period the wheel fell off the Bissel cordless vaccuum And carpet shampooer wasn't cleaning my carpets. I returned them asking for a refund and my bank stopped the last pavement on one of the items The shampooer was sent to bissel for repair I haven't heard anything other than it would take four weeks to repair. Idealworld are at it again. I had two telephone calls this week regarding the Bissel power wash. They don't know where it is but both agents assured me they would find out and request that the money I have paid towards the item is refunded. Another debt collection letter this morning. They have hase my item since the beginning of February and I want my money back. They don't understand that women in this country can do business as they aren't british. You can't get a wiord in for them as they think they are better than women. All I want is my money returned asThe Sale of goods Act 1979 states that I am entitled to a refund on faulty or poir qua
It's goods. When they say "Madam , I understand" how can they understand British law when they are only telephonists repeating a script and I am getting in the way of them saying it? No they don't understand that the law says I am entitled to refund despite IdealWorld making a 14 day money back condition that it DoesNot affect my statutory rights as a consumer!

“Dreadful!”

Bought a Nutrimaster under their flexi system where you can return if not satisfied. First it took ages to arrive (longer than expected...) then when it did there is an awful smell of electrical burning and very hot air pouring out when the item was turned on which was so bad we thought it was going to explode. Terrified to use the item as with the power behind it, if it exploded it doesn't bear thinking about! My Karcher K2 Power Washer went faulty after 4 months of use. E-mailed and eventually they agreed to collect it on 13/02/2015. I got an e-mail on 20/02/2015 to say my order was in progress and would be disptached soon. Great I thought but after three weeks I had heard nothing. I emailed and was told I should wait two weeks from 20/02/2015 before contacting them as it takes two weeks to process replacements. On 24/03/2015 I phoned them ( direct line to switchboard so only costs normal phone call, not Premium rate number). She said it was passed to Warehouse for dispatch on 23/02/2015. Very sorry for the delay and my replacement would be shipped ASAP.
Friday 27/03/2015 I got an e-mail saying my payment had been refunded!
No explanation, just a refund. Useless shower throughout

Purchased a halogen oven from them and was devastated to find that the base had completely melted making it dangerous to use.contacted them and all they could say was to return it even though I mentioned trading standards. I later found out on checking review that another customer had received little help when he's oven exploded.I should have known better than purchase from this co.because I've had to return several products.very poor customer services… Read Full Review

“Worst ever internet purchase!”

Truly appalling company to deal with. Faulty tablet, within warranty was, initially handled very well and 28 days required to sort the problem did not seem wildly excessive. WRONG, there then followed a complete litany of excuses all requiring another 10 days. After about 3 months I received confirmation that a refund would be made as the item was faulty but no refund was forthcoming.
