I purchased two Bissel items one November the other December 2014. After the fourteen day period the wheel fell off the Bissel cordless vaccuum And carpet shampooer wasn't cleaning my carpets. I returned them asking for a refund and my bank stopped the last pavement on one of the items The shampooer was sent to bissel for repair I haven't heard anything other than it would take four weeks to repair. “Dreadful!”

Bought a Nutrimaster under their flexi system where you can return if not satisfied. First it took ages to arrive (longer than expected...) then when it did there is an awful smell of electrical burning and very hot air pouring out when the item was turned on which was so bad we thought it was going to explode. Terrified to use the item as with the power behind it, if it exploded it doesn't bear thinking about! My Karcher K2 Power Washer went faulty after 4 months of use. E-mailed and eventually they agreed to collect it on 13/02/2015. I got an e-mail on 20/02/2015 to say my order was in progress and would be disptached soon. Great I thought but after three weeks I had heard nothing. I emailed and was told I should wait two weeks from 20/02/2015 before contacting them as it takes two weeks to process replacements. “dangerous goods”

Purchased a halogen oven from them and was devastated to find that the base had completely melted making it dangerous to use.contacted them and all they could say was to return it even though I mentioned trading standards. “Worst ever internet purchase!”

Truly appalling company to deal with. Faulty tablet, within warranty was, initially handled very well and 28 days required to sort the problem did not seem wildly excessive. WRONG, there then followed a complete litany of excuses all requiring another 10 days. After about 3 months I received confirmation that a refund would be made as the item was faulty but no refund was forthcoming. I purchased above from Ideal world in july 2014 (still in warrenty for business use with 2 sims failed in feb 2015. Spent a week speaking to John at Prestigio who agreed this to be a software problem and would contact the prestigio developement team one week later no contact John stated it could take up to 9 months to get problem resolved and suggested I contact Ideal World who it was purchased from. My mum (a disabled 78 year old pensioner) bought a laptop from these people in 2013, it never worked. They refused a refund and for 6 months refused to do anything about it, they then took it in for repair, admitting it was faulty when supplied. Dreadful company. Refused to replace faulty item within guarantee period. They spend ages sorting stuff out on phone and it's costing you a fortune. Can't understand operators. I agree I purchased two go tabs for my grandchildren for Christmas and Alfie's wud not charge on Boxing Day so I returned it after an endless phone call to someone who did not understand me I'm sure they get a bonus for how long they keep you on the phone I returned gotab between Christmas and new yr it came back at the end of January and wen my husband tried to set it up the left hand side of touch screen was unresponsive it did not ave this problem wen we returned it so I rang again very stressfull they agreed to send a prepaid envelope that was Monday it still has not arrived so ive just rung again I was asked for my card details to send label they did not do this on miday so it was never going to arrive so I've got a six yr old grandson very upset he has not had his Christmas present yet rubbish company I will never buy anything again I will stick to QVC ace company

“BEWARE of the Red lacy dress”

I bought a red lacy dress for Christmas, wore it Christmas Day, washed it and it's now like a rag with threads all over it. I spoke to a foreign person who I could not understand, and after several minutes of waiting for him to sort it out (at 10p per minute) I was offered a £10 voucher off my next purchase! I received a spinning bike I ordered it was faulty having broken pieces and in a used condition. I will never shop with Ideal world ever again and now wish I had read the reviews before buying as ideal world have one of the worst reputations.
