“Extremely shoddy company”

Goods arrived a week later than expected. When they arrived one product had been changed as there had been an issue with original item and the other item arrived in a box which had been ripped open and was covered in sellotape at the top but was still half open. The main item which was a window cleaner attachment for a window cleaning machine was missing. I think the customer service is disgraceful. We ordered some car wash items and got talked into joining a trial for rewards and that if we didnt want to commit to the membership we could just call up and tell them. We also got told that we could use all the rewards until this point. I foolishly bought a Hoover cleaner which was being sold on TV. They said that it could be returned, even if I had tried it. I switched it on for less than a minute, and decided I did not want it. “Non-Stop ugly clothes and cheap looking tat”

Ideal World has never set the TV shopping channel world alight. It was always in second place to QVC UK, and more staid compared to more outrageous channels like Bid.tv. Presenters weren't exactly edgy, but it's very difficult to appear exciting when you have to talk about a single vacuum cleaner, piece of kitchen or exercise equipment, or a garden hose for an hour. “Bad customer service”

I bought a mobile phone from Ideal world,ordered white but black arrived. Not too bothered by this, but 6 weeks later it stopped working. I returned to them , they told me it was out of the 14 day guarantee period. They have had it for 2 weeks already but I had an e-mail today to say it has been sent for repair could take 8 to 10 weeks. I got talked into this over the phone when I was at a very low ebb due to a bereavement and I subsequently wasted my first year at £79. I was also bewildered that they took more money for things I did not want or ask for. I felt better the following year and eventually took notice of the rewards but decided to cancel the next membership. I wrote a review about Ideal World 3/15. On here I had to go to.a lawyer as they had the bissel products. I had my money refunded and the transaction was finished. They got CCSdebt collectors on to me and I went to a lawyer and I got an apology from Idsal World director. Done and dusted? No. It is now July 2016 and I received an email and a debt collection letter again from CCS debt collection for the same amount as last time. £124. I got a letter of alloy from CSS debt collectors saying they have returned the case to their client. August 6 th 2016. I wnt be throwing the letter out as it will come up again I bet

“their accounts stink”

October 2015 my account was blocked and I received a letter from debt collectors claiming money for goods bought in June 2012. I refuted this and Ideal World accepted that nothing was due and sent me a letter confirming that my account was clear. (They failed to either date or sign the letter) Now July 2016 I find that my account is once again locked and I know nothing is owed. I used to love to watch the Friday Fashions. Where did they find the so-called experts?! If it wasn't so awful it would be funny. I worked in fashion for years and some of the comments are really misleading, surely any fool can tell a gather from a pleat?! Seems not, on Ideal World! This show has really gone down the pan over the last couple of years, same clothes week after week. Today I ordered a vacuum cleaner from ideal world, I chose to pay using the flexi pay option. The order summary confirmed one monthly payment plus p&p. About 30 mins later I checked my bank account, and discovered they had taken the full payment, over £105.00!!. I called them straightaway, and got a call centre in India? This really seems to be a common theme with Ideal World Shopping channel. I bought an exercise bike in January. I wrote a review and said it was difficult to get on and that you'd need to be a certain height to get on comfortably.

It has a back support at the seat, and handlebars at this point that you can hold while sitting. I couldn't use the backrest as I'm only 5ft, so made this point too. I also felt the tension wasn't really a challenge at it's highest setting, even having done no exercise for years. The review either never appeared or was pulled as it didn't suit their..."Everything we sell is the best in the world" attitude.

I bought a set of Tower ceramic( cerasure) coated pans, and although the presenter said they flew out the door, I just checked for reviews on them and there's none there. This leads me to suspect that people are having problems with them.

I've only used one pan from the 5 pan set, as I want to see if the ceramic will stay non stick before I use the rest. I'm afraid I may be beginning to realise the reason there's no reviews, this pan is starting to stick, even using low heat and a silicone fish slice to protect the coating.

I haven't been asked to review the product either. There must be something that can be done about this biased reviewing of products. If anyone knows please let me know.

after emailing ideal about a faulty iPhone it took them 17 days to reply they told me to ring them after the third time of email with my complaint. after ring them l checked my phone bill and it cost me £4.50 and now they want to charge me £3.00 to send a faulty product back . I just can not believe that you have to pay to send a faulty product back and they charge you around 18p per minute which they try to keep you on line. Received a letter asking for payment in the name of a female (I'm a single male)- explained this was a mistake and evidence shows my details and that I always clear my account. A barrage of emails later (they don't read emails properly, along with bad grammar, poor spelling etc) and my account has been blocked until I pay someone else's invoice!
