If you going to order something from this dreadful channel make sure you do it online (if you already have a membership number). It costs 20p per minute to phone them. The phone call is automated and it took 7 minutes 20 seconds for them to complete my order. They drag the call longer by suggesting other items to buy and giving a description of the item you are buying (which you can't skip). “Where are peoples rights”

I have had such bad service from Ideal World, I can accept that maybe the screen on my GoTab wasn't covered by the warranty when it cracked for no apparent reason, but it took them 23 days to acknowledge my problem, this only after I posted umpteen bad comments on their face book page. I ordered a refurbished iphone on 02/04/13, expected delivery date 12/04/13. It didn't arrive after 2 weeks so I rang Customer Services. They said it should be with me within the next 10 working days offered a free case and charger for my trouble. I also intend to complain to Trading Standards. However, I recommend that you report it to Trading Standards in Peterborough, where Ideal World is based. In doing this, one TS office will deal with all the complaints, rather than isolated complaints going to lots of different offices. There is then a greater chance that the complaints will be acted upon.

Just received the same standard e-mail twice to the same query. I wanted to order Elizabeth Grant "special offer" postage free, but I had no internet so telephoned instead. I was forced to listen to other offers as they "were experiencing high demand and only automated ordering was available" before getting to the item I wanted to order and then had to listen to further offers before processing the order itself. I've bought many things from Ideal World, always relying on the customer reviews before committing to the purchase. Not now! I bought a very expensive exercise machine and when asked for a review, I gave a fair and honest review of both its good and bad points and also commented on a delivery mess up and poor customer service. Who knows then what the 'guildelines' were - I said nothing insulting or defamatory, I gave an honest review of both good and not so good and in fact I did not go into detail about the mess up with delivery and difficulty with customer service as I was reviewing the product not just the site.

I unfortunately do not have a copy of the text, as it was input directly onto the site and as it wasn't published, it's not available. I bought Vibrapower disc to which I gave 3 stars as a rating. I stated that after an initial mess up with delivery and an apology email from Ideal World, I had received the item in good condition. I stated that whilst it seemed a sturdy and well made machine, there were shortfalls - which I detailed in brief, and that I hadn't had it long enough to judge long term results, only that it wasn't quite as 'magnificent' as the professional demonstrators would have us believe. That's about it - like I said nothing insulting, just honest.

Thanks, but I wont be wasting anymore of my time. Its as clear as day my review was rejected because it was a negative. Simple. There is nothing for you to investigate.
My advice to anyone is that if you want true customer reviews use Amazon or Ebay's websites, they print all good and bad.

that's exactly what happened to me only i said i could'n't review the items as i'd never received them. they said exactly the same thing but not a word about looking into the missing items and it's impossible to make contact with them except through their abysmal customer services in India on a premium line rate never ever going to have any dealings with this company again

When will these companies realise that cheapskating on customer service is a FALSE economy. It may be cheaper initially to site your call centre in some far flung low paid location but how many customers do you lose because when we try to deal with them, they either cant speak English, are not given the ability/tools to assist or, as in my case, are told to repeat robotically on the 'phone "our systems are being down we are not helping you please calling later" (sic). I actually thought I was listening to a recorded message until I interrupted him to ask a question, he then repeated it all over again in the same poor English. I have no personal quarrel with that poor individual, who was sitting somewhere at 4am in the morning their time having to fend off irate Brits, I DO however feel that for the millions of pounds spent on their site, Ideal World COULD AND SHOULD do better! This is not the first time I have had cause for disappointment with them, it will however be the LAST - I won't be buying from them again. Given the number of poor reviews on here, proportion that number up to take account of those who don't use this site and you have a real problem that if not dealt with will lose you thousands of customers.

The disappointing thing was that initially we had to pay additional postage for 1 item even though all items were ordered together. Postage is SO EXPENSIVE with IDEAL WORLD. You need to see my post about the very same product. At least mine worked but sure wasn't as impressive as their presenters would have me believe, Add to that the mess up with deliveries (Yodel not to blame this time as a very helpful man at Yodel looked it all up for me on his systems even though I didn't have a delivery note because Ideal World put this in another box which they hadn't actually given to Yodel!). Customer Service (that's a lie under the Trade Description Act to start with) in the Punjab or similar were being told to tell all callers 'our systems are being down etc etc etc' so no help there. My review was rejected too - on the basis it didn't comply with their 'guidelines' - ie it wasn't five stars so they sure didn't want to print it! I hope that anyone thinking of buying from them reads this site first!

I was tracking the items on the website and they were out for deliery, back to depot, out for delivery, back to depot for 'relabeling' our for delivery, courier to retry (?) eventually signed for by cUstomer on a day no one was at home, nothing delivered to neighbours. Bought a tablet for my husband for Christmas, The charger stopped working within 2 months, actually got a label to send it back. Received the tablet back saying that pins had been crushed and was not under warranty.I have sent a letter back saying it would be impossible for this to happen if it had fitted correctly in the first place. Three out of 3 of the products I purchased were faulty very soon after I bought them and one has something missing from the box (And I have still not received it after 5 months. When I called to complain I was assured that a manager would contact me and that was 2 weeks ago. Placing an order with order desk was just torture .. they could not understand English and kept asking for the same information three times and still struggled. After then waiting 10 days for product it finally arrived but in an extremely battered box and, more importantly, without the key to enable it to be used. Never will I be ordering from these people again. Customer services is a joke. If you email them they ignore you if you phone they give you the same answer every time and they are totally unreasonable. I ordered to remote cars for xmas presents one is faulty, apparently I have to return them both even though one has been given out as a present and is now on the other side of the country. So, I hesitantly purchased Proto-col package from Ideal World tv. The products arrived within 4 days. Once the products were opened, I noticed they weren't full. I waas NOT getting the full 50ml's as stated on the product. Ths is just as much Proto-cols' fault but I feel Ideal World has left the products sit for some time and they have evaporated. “Item never recd, 35 days and still waiting for refund”

I've been ordering online practically ever since it was possible to and this is the first time I've experienced such appalling behaviour from an online company. The item never arrived, they acknowledged this and said they couldn't credit my card but had to send a cheque for the refund. “Appalling delivery service from the courier they use”

This is the third order placed with Ideal World in 2 months, and the third late delivery. Still awaiting Toshiba tablet ordered on 8th December as a Xmas present. I like the products Ideal World sell, but they seriously need to look at their use of Hermes as a courier company, as with all three latest deliveries, they ran late because Hermes sat on them for 5-7 days, constantly stating on online tracking "courier re=attempting delivery" when they had certainly not tried to deliver to MY... “Delivered to wrong address, no apology. Terrible company!”

Item was sent to billing address and not delivery address. Rang up, was kept on hold for ages at over 10p per min, customer service useless!!!
