“Farcical Delivery Issues”

Reading between the lines, furniture comes direct from supplier... So Dunelm have to coordinate. Supplier, themselves, courier and customer... If one of these proves to be bit rubbish, then there will obviously be problems. The Couriers 'Panther group' were very poor... Dunelm, have you checked the trust pilot reviews of those guys, stop persisiting in using them. “Awful customer service”

Today I spent over £200 at Dunelm Mill, Parc Plaza, Bridgend, only 2nd time I've visited Dunelm. The checkout woman at the click and collect section had problems with one product and the bar code, resulting in charging me twice for 1 item. I checked my receipt before I left the counter, waited to speak to her about my overcharge only to be told that she would have to check the security cameras to ensure I hadn't picked put 2 items! I have used this type of service with other retailers and overall it works ok. That was until I tried Dunelm Mill. So I reserved my items online and was able to select from a number of stores to collect from, I chose the Enfield store at Dearsley Road (the closest store to where I live). Following this I received an email stating my goods would be available to collect in store 3hrs later that day, excellent -a nice on-line experience, easy to use web site. i used the home measuring and fitting service for curtains for a non standard size window. the service was excellent, a lady came and measured, bought with her several sample books, great choices. i did have to wait 5 weeks for fitting. the fitter arrived 5 minutes early, did an excellent job of hanging curtains, he checked the rail first,then did a very professional job, he took his time(50 minutes to fit one large bay window), he made sure curtains were hung and pleated properly. once again… Read Full Review

We recently visited your store in Rustington for the first time, mainly looking for cushions for our lounge,and possibly some curtains. Reserved some blinds as wanted to be sure I could have them by a certain date (they were available for delivery but delivery time in the past has been slow). Reserved as in stock at Chester, went to collect - told no stock. Then tried to order online with express delivery - told would be a week. Chester took no steps to resolve or get blinds for me. Organised a delivery of two armchairs for delivery Tuesday 2nd December 2014. Booked annual leave from work to accept order to be telephoned at 6.42pm the night before delivery to say order had been cancelled and a refund would go ahead. No explanation no sorry that you have waited 2 weeks to be told and that annual leave has been booked nothing just at least you will get a refund. ABSOLUTELY APPAULED BY THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! I ordered 8 items online money was taken from my account over £120. I waited 7 days for delivery and got an email saying I had been given a complete refund. The email didn't say why so I phoned customer service and the lady said she didn't know why maybe it was out of stock. Bought two pairs of cream chenille curtains. Lovely curtains and reasonably priced. One pair had to be shortened. This when all goes awry... First two pairs were lost. Third pair came back in a disgraceful condition. Side seams all over the place and lining crooked all across bottom. Stevenage store Manager was asked to look at this. Given a 4 hour time slot for the delivery of a chair and had to wait in all morning for delivery. Finally the wagon arrived 'with the chair@. Placed order in July. Was assured all items were in stock and ready for delivery on 8th Aug. order did not turn up. Was told that Ceva (the courier company) had been terminated that day and that's why the order was not delivered. Another delivery date was set by new company. Full amount taken from bank account. “Holkham Natural Striped lined curtains”

POOR QUALITY - I bought these curtains for my lounge and dining room. When I opened the packaging I was disappointed with the quality of the fabric but they matched my decor perfectly. However, on closer inspection the curtains were really badly made - flaws in the material and puckered uneven hems. “Comfort Zone Pillows DO NOT fit standard pillow cases”

Purchased two comfort zone pillows - which state quite clearly on the packaging that they fit standard pillowcases. They don't! They have a 5cm wall. Local Dunelm Mill have a no return policy for pillows, duvets that have been removed from their packaging. Fair enough. Emailed customer services who replied with a link to their website directing me to buy their standard pillowcases....... which don't fit. I did point this out and am still awaiting a reply. “SOFT FURNISHINGS BEDDING”

Dunelm's own pillow cases DO NOT fit their Comfort Zone Walled pillow - too small. In fact pillow case stated measurement is 48cm but is actually only 45cm! I bought two Duvet covers in May '14 - one is coming apart at the seams after only one wash [guest bedroom].
