“Atrocious customer service ”

Went to buy garden furniture only had 2 of 3 boxes in store I suggest returning for missing box but no not able then was sent on 3 hour round trip to collect from another store and they didn't have it there!! Called 1st store obviously annoyed suggesting they should let me take the 2 boxes and source the table for my inconvenience but not allowed!! Can't make decisions to do that so I stupidly ordered online waited 8 days for delivery but there had been a system error and they couldn't tell me… Read Full Review

I said I would not shop at Dunelm again 5 years ago when the curtains tie backs and cushions I bought were rubbish and customer services did not want to help. 5 years on I went back for the first time and had nothing but trouble ended up leaving my stuff in my trolley and walking out phoned the customer service line and was told they would look into it and phone me back but didn't. “Shocking Service”

Just visited my local store in Fareham. On entering the shop, the queues at the tills were well in excess of about 40 people waiting. Guess what only 3 tills open. We went in to look at some chairs. On finding one we liked, we were unable to find out the name of it or how much it was, as there was no label or anything to identify it. “keep clear”

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, ordered a vertical blind, over a 5 week period it was lost, not delivered, out of stock, bent and the final straw was the delivery driver said "there are bits missing, do you still want it ? ", we said no, so he took it away, then Dunelm said he had too deliver it, so we got the delivery only to have to wait in another day to send it back. Stay clear. A couple of weeks ago I went into the Barnsley store to collect some reserved items. When I got there i gave my number to find out my items were no longer available. Before I could even say a word to the women behind the till she reassured me and said she would try her best to sort it. There was no luck so she called for the manager who then called for another member of staff to assist me. The service of this company is absolutely disgusting and I would not recommend anyone to use this company. I have ordered 2 furniture items which firstly got lost, secondly they arrived damaged and cracked and thirdly I am still waiting for a replacement nearly 4 weeks after ordering. Ordered a sofa on Sunday delivery was supposed to be 3-5 days, it's now Friday have received emails and messages all week telling me delivery would be today, got a message last night saying delivery would be today between 9.45 and 11. Cleared old sofa to make room for new one last night. I have tried to reserve and collect curtains twice, one I'd paid for the other just reserved, neither experience was satisfactory, the first time despite the product apparently being available in the store, aid for and my reserving it I had a phone call to say it wasn't available. I have just used the made to measure and fit service at Duneln in lincoln. From start to finish the service was excellent pity I cannot name people because the lady who took the order to the gent who fitted them I couldn't have asked for a better service. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT BUY ! Bought sofa and chair arrived damage ! Contacted Dunelm the same day in March and I am still contacting them continually. Sent numerous emails over 10 and spoke to advisers over many hours ! I am totally frustrated and upset . I ordered good and would say that I was disappointed not to receive any notification from the courier service but after reading some reviews on line I became very apprehensive as I would say it took me a little time to resolve. Reserved two bedside tables with the Reading branch. They simply do not follow their own policy for click and collect. No email to confirm stock, no telephone call to say they hadn't got any. My daughter ordered on line a sofa bed and was told she would be contacted in 7 to 10 days by courier. After waiting 10 days she phoned dunelm to be told it was up to her to phone courier and organise delivery. She phoned courier to be told they had no items to be delivered to her. So she got back on the phone to dunelm and so 4 days of being given an absolute runaround began. “Absolute rubbish curtains, even worse customer service”

I purchased a pair of ready made curtains online, costing a small fortune. I thought I'd pay more and get curtains that are great quality and last me for years to come. The bottom of both curtains are clearly not sewn straight, really obvious against the horizontal line of the tartan check.....the 182cm drop varies by a couple of inches along each curtain.
