    Attempted to order curtains and blinds to be made. Shop states that orders would take 4 weeks. Took 3 months and still wrong.

    1. They said they used my material for someone elses order
    2. The next order got lost in transit.
    3. Final order had an extra blind and no blinds that matched what we had ordered.
    4. Staff promised to return phone calls and never did.
    5. manager attempted to avoid contact with us and went back on a verbal agreement he had made with us.

    I recently visited the blackpool branch of dunelm mill on Squares Gate retail park. I found the store very clean and tidy and had a warm welcoming and loved look about it. I was in the store about 2 hours and I managed to find everything I was looking for and came away with everything i needed the bedding department was very busy and everything i wanted for my bed was in stock and avaliable on the shelves.     I visited the Blackpool branch of Dunelm Mill on the Squires Gate estate.

    The service was abysmal. I needed help selecting a suitable fabric but the assistants had no knowledge of the stock.

    The service was slow and the assistants attitude was a disgrace. The assistant was uncooperative towards an elder member of staff at which I was disgusted. A couldn't care less attitude is not what I expect in any store.

    My experiances of Dunelm Mill are that they are extremly helpful and the mechandise that they sell is very high quality and reasonably priced. Furthermore I enjoyed the experiance of shopping there because of the staff's knowledge of the products and also the customer service was second to non. I personally believe that Dunelm Mill is "Simply Value for money". I also am extremly happy that they have one so near to my hometown of Blackpool.     Very Very dissapointed!! I ordered curtains in May this year!! They were made to the wrong measurements, I am still waiting for them!! No apology no phone call, quite frankly 'no customer' service.

    I have ordered blinds online. One arrived damaged. It took a week for it to be collected and Dunelm Mill will not send out a replacement until they received the blind. The blind was collected on Tuesday and on Friday they tell me that they will process the order on Monday and I may recieve it by the end of next week.
    The customer services are not helpful. The company does not seem to care that they delivered damaged goods, they just follow the company line that replacement goods cannot be dispat ...

    BEWARE - If you have to deal with dunelm mill office of 'customer services' and have a problem, then be prepared for a never ending story of grief.Curtains made wrong - not to spec of order - they argue and refuse & just repeat the same sentence on the phone in circles. Won't put you through to the last person you spoke to. Continually tell lies. Will not confirm anything with you on the phone.Awful - and I mean awful service.

    For yearsI have shopped at Dunelm in Loughborough, and more recently in Nottingham and have always found their staff helpful, and the goods very good value. The sewing and fabrics area is very good. Maybe not everyone's shop, but I love browsing around.

    I purchased a Magneto lamp from the Dunelm Mill Maidstone store just over two years ago but only now needed to replace one of the halogen bulbs. On trying to remove the glass cover, it completely shattered in my hand, scattering shards of glass everywhere. I have a 17 month old daughter so this was just not acceptable.     i emailed the customer services of dunelm mill to find out if a certain item was in stock, was told they dont have this information.
    i asked if i could order online, and was told the item couldnt be ordered online, i phoned the 0845 number and asked if i could order it, was told yes no problem.
    so what is the answer can you order deck chairs for home delivery or not. there was a lot of conflicting information.

    I have shopped at Dunelm since they first opened, both at Rotherham and at Chesterfield. I bought at both stores and purchased everything for my new house there. Both stores are brilliant for all sewing needs, and I also use them a lot for costume materials. Staff are helpful, pleasant making the buying experience there very good. Thank you Dunelm.

    Brilliant shop, looking forward to the sales.

    I have shopped in my nearest town, Rugby, for the last 10-11 years and have often made the trip into Rugby specifically to visit Dunelm. I have almost always found what I required and the staff have been helpful and knowledgeable

    a store which has a wide range of items but which also retains staff who know in detail what they are selling.

    Went to my local store in scunthorpe and was most upset they had changed the store totally. when i asked a member of staff a question she was not very helpfull at all. myself and my daughter shopped there quite alot when she moved house getting things she needed but after our last shopping trip have both said we will not be going again. The staff seem to me have no customer service at all.

    Shopping there is pleasurable enough, but I wouldn't recommend ordering from them. I had to wait much longer than expected for my order. I found the shop layout confusing, as each department blends into each other. Does not have specific boundaries to departments.

    Dunelm Mill - Only one vertical blind in, told have this we will be having plenty in the following week. We will order the other four that you need. That was SEVEN weeks ago and still haven't received one. Received no phone calls off them, only got the other blinds because we called in on the off chance.

    At Dunelm Mill I have experienced good service, polite assistants, good selection of most items,
    good quality for money.

    Always a pleasure to shop here, unfortunately I always buy more than I intended, but, never made a bad choice.
