“SOFT FURNISHINGS BEDDING”

Dunelm's own pillow cases DO NOT fit their Comfort Zone Walled pillow - too small. In fact pillow case stated measurement is 48cm but is actually only 45cm! I bought two Duvet covers in May '14 - one is coming apart at the seams after only one wash [guest bedroom]. I must say on returning pillow cases and duvet covers I was given a 'no-hassle' refund - quite right too. I hope Dunelm addresses this constructive criticism!… Read Full Review

“faulty curtains”

i ordered a pair of made to measure curtains and a matching roman blind, after 3 weeks my curtains were ready to collect. when I unpacked them at home the roman blind had a mark on the fabric. each curtain was marked also. I find it very poor that this was not checked before leaving the factory. when I returned these back to the store I was told that I would have to wait for them to be sent back to the factory for them to examin the curtains and then decide if they were going to make a new… Read Full Review

I totally agree with you they are worse than useless, actually to be fair not Dunelm's fault but their curtain makers, we spent nearly £500 on two pairs of curtains and was promised a pattern match which did not appear, it was 1 and a half widths so needed a join, my 3yr old grandson could of done a better job! I took them back and the staff said " well I've seen worse" which I didn't want to hear, as it happened the manager was out so they promised to ring me! 'still no call', so they are sitting somewhere waiting for someone to make a decision, I shall give them a couple more days then I shall be going in all guns Blazing!! I feel really let down on there promises

Toulouse tv stand , bought online, mores the pity. Only buy it if you fancy some diy! I will never shop there again. Kept unit purely because it was my third attempt to buy a tv stand, previous two not from dunelm, and couldn't be bothered to return it . Just used a tube of filler to repair cracks. “Very Poor Quality Curtains”

Recently purchased curtains from Dunelm Mill. The curtains are so badly made and puckered at the seams it's unreal and no way will that curtains ever hang properly. The material is such poor quality and overall the curtains are rubbish. Mind you I only paid £20 for them so looks like you get what you pay for. Will not shop there again. brought dorma quit cover and pillow cases first wash seams split on cover took back to store were they accepted faulty goods did not have receipt on me ( did not expect to be returning it) gave me credit note returned home found receipt went back to store to get refund told as they had issued credit note would not give refund !!!!!!!!!!! will give credit note away as with not shop there again consumer right you must be joking… Read Full Review

“Waiting for furniture...over a month encounting”

My partner and I went into our local Dunelm Mill on the 25/05/2014. Along with a couple of items we bought in store, we ordered 2 bedside tables cost £207. The gentleman that served us, helped fill in the details online it saved us the hassle of doing this ourselves, he told me that the delivery should be with us by the 13th. “Damaged Items delivered twice in one week.”

I ordered a brabantia bin from Dunelm's online store this week, it was delivered with a dent in the side so I took it back to the store for a refund and was told the only way I could re-order was online as they didn't have a replacement in stock. I did so the same day and the second bin was then delivered two days later with a dent in it AGAIN. This is ridiculous. I would never use them for online products again… Read Full Review

I waited (my own stupidity) for twenty minutes, for an assistant with "training" to be located, to cut me a length of piping cord in the Inverness store. I spoke to three other members of staff who all said they couldn't help. Two pairs of scissors were within my reach - I was so tempted!!! Heaven help us! “No Delivery, No Refund. Terrible service”

I ordered some furniture and bedding and paid for next day delivery. I took the day off work and the items were never delivered. I called customer services and they said there was a problem woth the courior. I had to cancel the order as I am rarely in to recieve it. I was told my money wouldn't be refunded until they had received goods back from the courior. After trying out a huge amount of mattresses in numerous shops we finally settled on one which we loved in Dunelm! However when trying to order the mattress instore it took around 30 minutes for the assistant to look for the mattress and ring various people (assistant was very helpful but it was very time consuming and I had a 3 year old to entertain during this time). “Disappointing customer service at the curtain department”

I went to Dunelm looking for a quote for some custom made curtains/blinds. I was assisted by a young shop assistant at the Manchester/Trafford centre location. After providing all the measurement and chose a couple of materials for the curtains, I had my quotes. I bought some nets for my windows, the same as the nets I bought the identical window downstairs. (Measured) I needed a 40inch drop - so I ordered a 40 inch drop. Super - went home to hang them, and they were 2 inches short! Only measuring 38 inches. Also the cut on the edges was horrific! There was no way I was hanging those nets! Who do you think you are? As if the CEO of the company gives a damn about you being a stroppy little cheapskate. You are the epitome of our compensation culture and people like you make me sick. Completely agree! I just read it all and have no doubt that this woman was in the wrong. She clearly misunderstood and so to cover her own tracks, or in fact her own embarassment, tried to blame the staff in store.

“Only got one star because no option for none”

Ordered over £1000.00 worth of furniture. First informed order ready for delivery, then money debited from my account. Next thing I know money suddenly showing back in account. This has now happened twice. After reading other reviews, this seems to be how Dunelm are treating their customers. I am left feeling very angry, disappointed and drained with the whole process and have now cancelled my order. This is after being informed by customer services that this would not happen again. “Leaking Shower Cutain”

I purchased a shower curtain in November 2013 from the Lincoln store,the curtain looked attractive and although more expensive than most of the other ones, on looks alone I decided to buy it. I did not put up the curtain until February 3rd only to discover that the curtain was not waterproof and spayed water over my bathroom floor. Unbelievable I know, but that is a fact.
