(Sorry)Same as last lady review,I ordered 2 bedside cabinets from Bolton store at 10 o'clock in the morning, but I had already been to Blackburn for these cabinets the day before to be told only 1 in stock, so I was really pleased when 2 went into my basket from Bolton store and payment was shown, but cash on collection,although not ready to pick up for 3 hours.took almost 1 hour to get there, a bit of lunch, passed an hour on in Bolton, just on our way to store when I got a call on my phone… Read Full Review

“Reserved items..... Lost!”

This morning I reserved 6 storage boxes online which I understood to be available for collection after 3 hours. Not realising I had to wait for an email to confirm that they were ready for collection I set off on a 50 mile round trip to the Lowestoft store, only to be told that they 'couldn't find them'. “Do not bother with the made to measure service!”

We bought our first home and required curtains and blinds for the entire house. We decided to go for Dunelm at Home's made to measure service as it seemed simple and convenient. The entire process from getting them to come and measure to having the curtains made and delivered was a JOKE. On the day of putting the deposit down, they took the wrong amount of money from our card. Nobody in the Milton Keynes store ever picked up the phone so we could put it right. “Curtain poles and horrific service”

I went to the Plymouth store to buy 3 curtain poles and pairs of curtains. The person on the curtain department was not at all helpful. One of the poles I bought I found had no hangings in it as they had been taken out. I then had to go all the way to the Torquay store to get one which I did. The person on the curtain department was not at all helpful and the customer service definitely was not. Went to purchase 4 Kitchen Stools totalling £159. First of all got my name wrong and when asking for payment my First Direct came up with a survey of asking for my date of birth and sort code. Never in my years of using my Visa Card have I been asked for this information. Went into the Romford store today to look at the bedding and rugs. Quite liked a couple of rugs but had no prices on them so asked an assistant who off handedly informed me she had no idea and I should talk to the rug man wherever he might be. The rug man was tied up with another customer for a good 15 minuted so I asked another chap and he was able to tell me the price of one rug but not the other. I had a problem returning an Isobelle duvet cover and four pillowcases which when I collected them were not the same colour as they appeared on the website. When I wrote to Head Office regarding my local store not accepting them back because the packaging had been opened, my complaint was treated courteously, professionally and above all speedily. Where do I start?? I ordered 2 bedside tables and chest of drawers just after Christmas as they had money off. Bought some material from Dunelm after visiting shop on my way back from a visit to Swanage. We live in the midlands. I liked the material so much I wanted an extra metre to complete my project. If I had read more of the reviews for this company I would never have used it. When a bookcase was delivered it was damaged. We however decided to keep it and accept a discount. We are still, nearly 2 months later and inspite of several phone call waiting for this. The item should not have been delivered damaged in the first place Every time I call customer services staff are pleasant, promise to sort it out, even increasing the amount of refund, but then nothing happens. “Poor quality fabric ”

This review relates totally to quality of goods & not the store. I bought a pair of curtains & didn't realise until they were hung that there's fault lines running through the pair!! When I compare the curtains I was replacing, also from Dunelm bought in July 2014 I see a definite down turn in quality. The faulty curtains were made in Pakistan, previous were made in China. I ordered a sideboard from this store on 3rd January. Was contacted a couple of days later with a delivery date of 18th January. Received an e Mail on Friday 15th confirming delivery time slot. However on Sunday 17th January received a voice mail message from Dunelm customer service ( and I use the term loosely) stating that my order was cancelled due to it being out of stock and discontinued!!! “ceiling light faults”

I purchased 4 large ceiling light and almost £50 each every one came with 4 bulbs only 3 bulbs in each pack were working, these bulbs last no time at all on one lamp I have replaced the same location bulb 3 times in the last 2 weeks rubbish bulbs and expensive to keep replacing if the lights were not fitted they would have been sent back lovely looking lights the bulbs let them down… Read Full Review

Bought this rug for £200 feels gorgeous and lovely. Has so much bits coming off it and had over two months and have to hoover more than once in the day. Did not Expect such disappointing quality when paying so much. I had bought a cheaper one for £50 previous and same problem fluff was coming off it constantly. Did not expect this poor quality with the money spent on this. Really disappointed as I do shop here often but certainly will not be buying another rug.
