  Good Points: Location, Price, Cleanliness. Friendliness.

  Bad Points: None.

  General comments: The hotel Monaco in Munich is ugly on the outside but very pretty on the inside. The staff were incredibly friendly, funny and good natured. Despite the relatively low price of a room here, the room was big, spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed. It's also in a prime location - within throwing distance of both the central train station and the city's main shopping district. Highly recommended. I'm not a big one for the sliced meat sort of Bavarian breakfast they serve, but hey that's me..
