Bad Points: Its a good bike but it just does not pull enough power....and the stock suspension also isnt very good... I improved mine with a set of JOKER shock for the front and rear.

General comments: Well the bike has an awesome braking ability. I can get into 5th gear and suddenly slam the brake and do a 360 around and go again. The bike has a cool fast look to it. needs more power.........

This bike has awesome acceleration and is great for trail riding. Has a top speed of somewhere around 65 mph which is plenty for the trails. Best mod for this bike is to take off screen in air box adds 2 to 3 more horsepower to the rear wheels and to take off baffle.

Great learner bike. This bike never fails me. I keep up with my boyfriend's 2-stroke 125 and often have to wait on him to get his bike kicked over. I will definately never sell my TTR-125. They are great trail bikes. I live in Illinois and ride on mostly hills. This bike climbs through through the woods, up and down hills with ease.

Runs well and rides well. its a good bike on the trails and very manuverable. If u dont add some things to it it feels like its holding back also its very hard to start. the other thing is that u have to clean your carberator often

It is almost impossible to get running. I was told by the dealer I have to drain the bowl on the carb everyday to get this bike to start. In my opinion this bike should be labeled a lemon.

The best, most reliable, most affordable, safest and easiest bike I have ever had. I would recommend it to beginners and intermediate levels of riders alike and I think that is is a wonderful bike that everyone who has a brain and has a budget should have... wow a long sentence! It has light handling, great acceleration and a respectible top speed. It is a bike that is not to be shrugged at when considering to buy. My bike has had a sproket set up and it now pulls like a tractor, with a fantas ...

Very easy shifting. Very forgiving bike. I've taken it on trails jumps, street, everywhere. I love this bike. It's a very good bike for people who are just starting out and people that have been at it for a while. If you're too little for a 250...this is a great bike for you. Even if you fit a 250.

I had the Yamaha TTR for about 2 year and it was an amazing beginner bike, great for what I do, except for the shocks when I ramp, but I think im goin to get stiffer suspension.

The Yamaha TTR great bike for starters (i am one), I rode it for my first time today and this is how I got to this site.... its got power man.... and it was also my first time riding. I'm 130lb and 5'8 ft tall and its pretty good for me... everything went smooth, I really like this bike but for the money I'd rather get a honda I hear they are way better. And the wheels could be a bit bigger I mean it is a 125 after all they should be sized for teens-small adults... but its still great if your ab ...

Over all the Yamaha TTR is a fun bike. Nothing like dirt biking. The suspension is great. The engine is also very reliable. Had no problem starting.

This is a good bike I just got it and it has plenty of power. This is a good bike for beginners but not a motocross bike. This bike goes about 50-60 mph top speed. I LOVE THIS BIKE! I would recommend it For Beginners or Experienced riders.

The Yamaha TTR 125 has excellent power for a new rider or even a seasoned rider if you hit the trails light. This is a great trail bike for any rider but not anything special for jumps I strongly suggest this to a young rider though.

I changed the rear sprocket from a 55 tooth to a 49 and gained much higher top speed without losing to much torque. I recommend a fmf full exhaust and if you ' re going to do wheelies take off your rear fender it ' ll save you a lot of money.

Great amount of power for a recreational vehicle. Great ability to climb steep inclines. Amazing shocks and hydraulic disc brake systems overall and amazing and exciting bike to ride recreationally.
