“We visited this site in October 2010, but it is living...”

We visited this site in October 2010, but it is living on past successes. We were greeted with a pile of dog mess outside our caravan, and the caravan hadn't been cleaned. This was put right after complaining, but the swimming pool changing rooms were absolutely filthy, and staff were simply disinterested. In fact the reception staff - well they need retraining. Having stayed at Littlesea, and Caister without problem, all I can say is avoid Church Farm. It is dirty and unsafe for children!...

Took family to Church Farm for the haloween weekend. Entertainment was very limited. Great if you liked singers as that was all that was on offer. They also decided to allow all the owners to enter the entertainment lounge one hour before anyone else so when you did get in there were no seats left for the Haloween party. Those who booked the weekend via Haven were in fact second class citizens. Been to many other commercial sites and have never had this situation before. Would advise anyone booking...

Just come back from a week at Haven Church Farm. Was abit worried about the park as the reviews on it have not been too good. However we were pleasantly surprised. Our caravan was very clean apart from the bed sheets that had dried blood on them, luckly i aways bring my own sheet. We also discovered that the dvd player was broke so called reception for it to be fixed, was told someone will come round to have a look but never did. So had to call again and we were given a new dvd player. The caravan...

I have just had a 4 night stay at Church Farm with my son. The standard accomodation was more than adequate although the gas fire was difficult to ignite on a cold autumn evening or morning. As expected with a lot of burden on the hot water system at peak times the hot water for showers etc didn't stay hot for long but I was ready for this and we showered 'off peak'!!! The staff were all wonderful and couldn't do enough be it in the entertainment complex or the swimming pool etc. The breakfasts...

Just came back from there, booked through sun newspaper as we refused to pay the extortionate prices! this was advertised as a 5 star park, I would class it was a 3 star, the grounds were well amintained, so lovely if Youa into walking etc. But as for the accomodation, well I would give it a 2 star! the caravan we stayed in was a standard so I didnt expect luxury, just bog standard in which it was, but it was quite clammy and dirty. We didnt complain cos We just wanted to use it as a base and couldnt...

“We have stayed at Church Farm on four occasions over...”

We have stayed at Church Farm on four occasions over the past two years and have had mixed experiences... until our most recent visit in September 2010. We took our family for a weekend break and booked a prestige caravan as no platinum caravans were available. The accommodation was ok; clean but really smelt of cigarette smoke - there were 3 (yes 3!) air fresheners in the lounge alone attempting (and failing) to mask the stench of smoke. Then came the dreadful bed, on such a recent caravan I...

just returned from a week at this site due to leaving the prestatyn sands park.. (review posted on this site, please read) with no hope of enjoying our holiday after the previous week at presatyn we arrived to find church farm in a different league.. clean grounds clean van clean carpets friendly staff.i would say this is by far the best family haven site and would recommend paying the little extra to go hear rather than anywhere else.. ok the kids entertainment is a little repetitive but the youngsters...

WE have used Haven since 1990 on and off over the years in both Uk and France and always find them trustworthy. This year with just our youngest nearly 11 yr old (leaving the 19yrold behind) the choice of site was more on him. We opted for the top spec available for the 5 days Mon - frid late July as being non smokers, we wanted guaranteed non smoking accommodation and TBH are a bit choosy about neighbours and wanted a car space right next to the caravan. This didn't disappoint with nearly brand...

we booked a week at havens church farm site due to needing to reduce our normal holiday out lay the price for a week commencing july 19th was a very reasonable £424 we normaly go to butlins at a payout of around £1100 for the same week (being seven in our family group) we went not expecting much but wanted to fully enjoy our holiday. the indoor swimming pool was alot smaller then we were lead to believe (online photos on the haven website and brochure snaps seem to increase its size)...

we did a sun deal and church farm wasnt our first choice, it was our 4th. We are so pleased we were sent there instead! On arrival you can see the site is well looked after and the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. We had upgraded our van from a standard to a luxury plus which was very clean, spacious and had all the equipment we needed for our stay. The on site facilities were great, well stocked shop (although it would have been handy if it was open slightly later). The park, pool...

Had a lovely time at church farm with my son, mother and grandmother. The childrens entertainment really made the holiday for us, my son had an amazing time. The funstars made all the children feel special and encouraged the adults to join in too. I thought the funstar Chris was amazing and was very friendly, stopping for a chat anytime we saw him. A true talent!! The caravan was very clean on arrival, just slightly disappointing that we were missing a few items of bedding. The on camp facilities...

We have just arrived home from a fantastic 2 weeks at Church Farm holiday Park and would highly recommend it to anyone. The kids entertainment and club was great and our son thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the character shows. The only thing we were not keen on is you have to walk through a large arcade which is a little irresistable for children - we just gave Jack £2 a day and once that was gone that was it. We will definatley be returning in the future. ...

My husband and 2 children have just returned (7th June 2010) having visited Church farm for the first week in june, we have been to many haven camps before and have been happy with the camps and entertainment on offer. Churchfarm is another story. The children's entertainment seemed repetitive and a little lame and at times distasteful due to one of the funstars being, how can I say this politely, a little 'camp' and some of his actions and innuendoes would be more suited to an adult club. I'm sure...

I have returned from Church Farm and have to say I find your comment about the 'camp' funstar a little offensive and misguided. His comments would have gone straight over the kids heads, and entertained the parents who were watching too...much in the style of the pixar/ Shrek movies. The park is well looked after and doesn't scream HAVEN in your face.

I must say, this is a relatively small caravan site. the entertainment complex is tiny. Good points: The caravan was nice and clean when we arrived. The shower is lovely and spacious The hire bikes are great fun. The inside pool is quite warm and the slide is fun. Church farm is a tranquil caravan park and the lagoon is vast and beautiful. The golf course is decent and doesent cost if you bring your own golf clubs with you. The staff are freindly and usually attend to your needs. The staff got...

Good game for a laughs with adults and entertainment for young kids aswell. Had a brilliant time and would like to go again, defenitley reccommend to friends and collegues. Only disappointment was fridge door in caravan was broken. But although that caravan was very clean and tidy with heating in every room...

Just returned after a week at Church Farm (April 2010). Have been on several of these types of holidays, though not at this park, and so knew what to expect. Accomodation-fine, everything worked and was very clean. Staff-no problems at all. All very friendly. Eating-one main restaurant-excellent food & service once sat down though bar service could be slow if too few staff manned the bar. The Sunday Carvery Roast especially was delicious. Also a cheap and cheerful chippy on site. Activities-fine....

we went as a group hoilday on the 28th september for a week. the worst hoilday ever. The staff were rude and the entertainment was embrassingly lame. one of the entertainers was very rude. I didnt approve of the kids section being followed by an adult game. The kids entertainment was crap. The shop was expensive however the lady was really polite. all of the 8 caravans were dirty and some were missing sheets which you had to fit yourself. One caravan had fags and empty yogurt pots. appartnly they...

I have been to Church Farm for the last 4 years, with children of now 2 & 4 it is ideal. Lovely walks nearby (beach and nature reserve) and the complex is great. Restaurant is fairly pricey but a Tesco express is nearby and the homes have good utilities, so cook if money is tight. Not as cheesy as Butlins and relaxing as a result. Highly recommend. ...

After experience of holiday at Haven's Church Farm site I will never use Haven again. To save on packing we chose a Superior Plus van, this gave us made up beds on arrival, but they weren't, the bedding was just left on the beds we made them up ourselves. Reception staff gave us no guidence on arrival. Simply told us where to find our van. They didn't even manage to tell us we needed to use cards to access the entertainment area. The van was not clean, food debri in drawers and cupboards,...

I stayed at church farm, haven, for a four day stay on the 29th of June 2009, in a superior caravan, on old nine, no 115, out of peak season. As soon as you enter the park, you can see the convenience store, funworks, and hire shop! Gopod selection of choice in shop, didnt see any shows, too busy out in the day at the beach and site seeing around portsmouth and even the isle of wight! Hire shop is each bike £5 per hour, or you can rent one out for the day. Caravans easy to find, good access,...

Haven Holidays, Church Farm is an extremely well kept site. In an excellent location if you want a quiet holiday. Nearby Selsey and Bognor Regis have much nicer beaches if you are taking children. We did find the security staff rather abrupt and also the people hiring out the bikes were rude when dealing with teenagers. The shop is very small and cramped, only one till open and no room the que. The prices are very high and quite often the shelf price is not the same as the price on the till. Very...

Just back from a pleasant 4 night stay at Church Farm Haven. This is the 3rd Haven site we have visited in a year and as usual, found a bargain break on their website. Pagham (where the camp is situated) is a very quiet and picturesque village, although there is not much to do apart from a few nice pubs and a decent chippie and curry house! There is a Tescos and cash point in the village so it was no problem stocking up on essentials! We went out of season and most of the caravans were empty,...

I stayed here with my husband and two children aged 3 and 5 on a Friday to Monday in October 2007 (Halloween weekend). When we arrived the park looked nice, the entertainment venue is quite small but was okay. Our caravan was in a nice place and looked better than I?d expected, however it hadn't been cleaned, it was filthy. There was half a loaf of bread in the fridge and a piece of eaten bacon on the sofa. We found a dummy under the double bed, and also a child?s beaker under the bed in one...

July 2005 and looking to spend a few days at Haven: Church Farm Holiday Village, Pagham, so checked availability online and was surprised at the fantastic last minute discounts that were made...
