we have returned back from a 7 day holiday from berwick haven.
we took 2 animals so were in a basic on arrive the staff were helpful we found caravan on it was a little run down but i did not expect mush for a basic a smelt a little but soon covered it up with air freshener

i took my laptop and dongle that had a very poor reception so i when to purchase a wifi voucher but the sed they sold out and i could pay by cedit card online i explained i did not have a credit card so they told me to use a bank card i have on but only a hole in the wall card so not very helpful they then told me i could go to haggestan castle for a voucher i did not bother .

my dog found a dummy under the bed so proved it was not cleaned properly i cashed up the cleaner to lend the vacuum as with a dog and long hair cat it was getting a bit furry she would not lend it to me for 15 mins.

so by the end of the week the nice fawn carpet was a lovely black hairy mess .

next time i will take my dirty devil to lakeland in october

oooooohhhhh the bar is expensive it cost £5.90 for a pint of lager and 1 bottle of red star

morrisons is 10 mins walk away or aldi is about 7 -8 mins walk town centre has a somerfeild and about 5 mins if u take the short cut u come out in the car park
    .

i have not been on holiday for about 6 years so this was brill wen i found i could take my pets i will use haven again but will go prepared.

Paid £750 for a peak season week with 2 year old grandson. Superior plus caravan very disappointing. Unpleasant smell on opening up, we eventually got used to it and kept windows open and used plenty of air freshener. In the lounge soft furnishings/seating looked dirty and were torn, mattresses very lumpy and uncomfortable, cleaning had obviously been carried out but there is only so much you can do in a van with years of wear and tear. The TV was a 14inch ancient Toshiba without remote co ...

Haven Holidays, Berwick was very nice the member`s of staff are friendly and always interactive we really enjoyed our stay at haven and we are hoping to come back soon. but one thing some caravans need is a micro wave but over all we give 10 out of 10 .

    HOLIDAYMAKERS THOUGHTS HAVEN BERWICK

We arrived looking for holiday fun
In Berwick under the Haven park sun
The caravan park looked nice and clean
But the caravan we had couldn`t have been seen
No hot water not even heat
Not even bedsocks to warm your feet
We make the beds up for your stay
Just a little more you have to pay
Our bed sheets and pillowcases wern`t even there
Haven had their money so why care
The reception desk staff were not charming
In fact their attitude was quit ...

The Haven Holidays, Berwick caravan was filthy I had to clean everything before use. Noodles in the sink. Old food on the plates. Work tops disgusting. Broken glass door on tv unit. Complex toilets disgusting. Was not brave enough to try the resturant. Complex shop over priced. Bar over priced. No play parks within caravan grounds. Swimming pool changing rooms smelled of urine.

Nice scenery. Caravan had a nasty whiff about it, bedding was not clean in fact it was disgusting, had to phone through bring us a clean one, even though we had a note saying "this caravan was cleaned by***************"it obviously NOT, caravan doors wouldn't lock just as we were going out, had to wait for security to do it (which took him 20 minz) and then the gas fire wouldn't come on!!! Wouldn't choose this site again, glad it only cost me £60 for 3 nights.

Caravan itself relatively clean although interior smelt very doggy, also seats torn and uncomfortable. Would not recomend the park. Probably one of the roughest Havens around. Although Berwick was a nice place to see if you can find a different park.

I spent a week at Berwick, never again, paid extra for a prestige caravan but got a basic caravan with a microwave thrown in.
Caravan was right next door to the maintenance yard which was very noisy with traffic and machinary.
Food was served hot and was quite tasty but the eating area was scruffy and dirty.
Swimming pool was very basic and the outdoor 'heated' pool was freezing
    Need i go on..........................

Me, my wife and 2 year old daughter booked a 4 night break in July 2008 in a superior caravan, the caravan from the outside was filthy, with bird droppings all over the sides and windows, mud and various other dirty marks, inside wasn't much better, the carpets were fairly clean but had stains and several cigarette burns, the bedding was very cheap was very worn and the duvets were even worse. The check in system is a pointless waste of time that makes you feel like a piece of meat, the prices o ...

The park was very enjoyable, but not the place to go for a quiet and relaxing stay.
we stayed in a prestige caravan, and it was very clean but there was a smell of smoke as we went into the caravan and the carpet was wet, but the cleaners said that they cleaned it for us because the people that were in it last put mud on it!
The holiday may seem cheap on the way there, but on your way home it could end up being more expensive than a week in spain because of the prices in the shops and the amusem ...

Was not happy with caravan as carpets were filthy and damp. I had a baby off 8 months with us on the holiday we just had from 12/10/07 till 15/10/07. Now my baby had a cold which has been caused by dampness in that caravan.

I really enjoyed my stay at Haven Holidays in Berwick. It's great Holiday Park, I loved the Funstars. I would definitely recommend this, although I do think it's too expensive.

We had a good holiday at the Berwick Haven Holiday Park, but the entertainment is getting worse as the years go by, and everything is very expensive.

People would enjoy themselves a lot more if they didn't feel they were being over-charged.

Haven Berwick is a brilliant place to come for a family holiday, there are activities for kids of all ages and there are shows ever night to keep you entertained, there is a fair sized arcade but if you dont want to spend too much money you could always go down to the beach which is only a 5 minute walk. There are two pools which you use at no expense and the shows are brilliant on a night, there are kids games and adults games so everyone gets involved, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the ...
