First visit to Scotland and first Haven holiday. There were two of us and the caravan was a pleasant surprise. Very nice, spacious, interior looked fairly new and clean. I couldn't say if our caravan was the same as all the others, or if we'd got lucky, but ours was the basic and in very good condition. A few items were missing from inventory, so after contacting reception, within 20 minutes a lady came round and issued us with the missing items. Nice laundered sheets, mattresses and pillows were in reasonable condition. We had no problem with noise, from entertainments or people. We went during May if that made any difference. The beach is as described in the brochure. Great for walking along, kite-flying which we did, and walking the dogs.
The biggest downside was the expense. We had to purchase the leisure pass in advance which was steep. We had no need for it, as we wanted basic accommodation so as to tour Edinburgh, etc. The evening bingo was about the same cost as a big name Bingo place, but the prize money was a pittance. The chippie on-site was incredibly pricey. Two chips and curry sauce nearly £6!! Seton Sands and beyond is quite expensive. The nearest supermarket down the road is Co-op and very expensive! I'd recommend going a lot further on towards Morrisons. We didn't participate with the on-site nightlife/disco so cannot comment on that. I would recommend this resort, though with some reservation, i.e. save up plenty of spending money. So to summarise:
Good: Comfortable basic with all mod-cons caravan, tidy site, access to big bins, friendly staff, quiet location, regular buses to Edinburgh, clean beach
Bad: Expect to be stung highly all directions for on-site facilities

What a terrible excuse of a holiday this was. The caravan was smelly and damp. We were't given anything to clean it with, bar a dust pan and brush, a broken mop and a head of a brush. We complained to reception who promised to send a cleaner and explained that you basically get what you're given. Cleaner never turned up. The complex was laid out so you had to pass the amusement arcade everytime you went to the bar/restaurant/swimming pool. It really is a dump. Please don't risk your bank account ...

After a 4 hour drive to scotland with two screaming excited kids and a chance to catch up with my best friend and with out our husbands.we were worrying about putting our tent up ,we arrived at Seton Sands to a warm welcome from staff. The manager of the camping field straight away with out asking helped us put up the tent(thank god). The scenery was beautiful as you got a seafront image of the beach.Small camping field where everyone was friendly.the shower and toilet block was acceptable in ba ...

Just spent a week at at Seton Sands and wished i hadnt. My main moan is regarding the restaurant/cafe staff and food. It was woefully understaffed, and the staff clearly hadnt heard of health and safety. Our first complaint was dismissed with "Its not my department". The second complaint about the food quality was a shrug of the shoulders. We will not be going back and if you have any standards of food hygiene, i woulod suggest you dont either.

Wanted to visit North Berwick so seton sands seemed the ideal place to stay for an inexpensive break. Booked the Prestige Caravan (3 bed) so we could check in a bit earlier and have the comfort, which was true. The caravan has what you need but still smelt like cat wee!!! thank god we were in Forth View (all the different parts are names after famouse golf clubs)and far away from the centre. As you come in there is the fish and chip shop which is very expensive, then there is the kids play park ...

Seton Sands was the worst caravan park I have ever been to.
We ventured into the show bar and to our surprise there was an absolutely brilliant band playing.
We spoke to the band after their first set and the management had said they didn't want them to do second set as they were too loud and a couple of people had left.
The people who left are people who leave irrelevent of who, what, volume or anything else, I know this as I know them! .
The band did play second set but were too quiet-you are ...

I booked through Jenny's holiday homes. Great value for money caravan was beautiful. Location of Seton Sands was great to go sight seeing in Edinburgh, public transport is on door step. Loads to do and see either on site itself or out and about. Would definitely go back and would book privately also.

I have visited this Seton Sands on a few occasions over the past 3 years! The staff have always been very friendly and fantastic with the kids. Swimming pool and arcade facilities were great and the location of this park was fantastic, plenty to do in Edinburgh, East Lothian and there is a great transport link into the city centre! There is no excuse for you to be bored! I could go on and on about the Haven Holidays we have had here but why ruin the surprise, try it yourself.

The kids loved it at Seton Sands Haven Holiday Park, and so did me and my hubby! What more is there to say? We would go back again. It was EXCELLENT.

The caravans were nice, and well situated near the main centre. There is something to do for all the family. Very good value for money!
