Told to get keys from Showbar, when I asked the Bar Manager, he was so rude and told me to wait until he had served the queue which trailed out of the door and around the complex, one hour later, I had to prompt him, again, he was not happy. One of the owners was also trying to order a drink, as he said, no one serves in the owners lounge. Later on that evening I met the same owner, and found out about the park, chapter and verse. Most of the owners are trying to move from the park, due to… Read Full Review

Stayed midweek in June 2010. Caravan not really up to Prestige standard of others i've stayed in, but it did the job. Park ok, entertainment really amateur and music 20 yrs out of date. fish and chip shop fairly expensive but okay if you're desperate.
Really disappointed with the area in general - near a power station, everything quite industrial. The beach across the road from the park is NOT a nice sandy beach as you are made to believe, its rocky and dirty - we had to go to North… Read Full Review

June 2010 - Seton Sands - just got back from a 4 day break in a Prestige Caravan. Actually it was only a 3 day break as we came home early.
Can't blame Haven for the weather which was awful, however........
a - first impressions important eh ! The security guard who leaned into our car on arrival must have been cold also as he was stinking of booze, not ideal.
b - the van smelt of stale cigarettes
c - as is always the case with Haven, the food odours really are bad - a stale lingering… Read Full Review

First time visitor to a haven resort, arrived at 4pm to check in, we were given a number to go to the showbar to recieve out caravan keys, poor check in were treated like cattle, would be much better having a 1-1 personal check in. Caravan had no cleaning items ie hoover, dustpan brush, caravan was clean but smelt damp, main complex was a disgrace, no soap in any of the toilets, ladies, mens or disabled toilets. hand dryers did not work either.. general place was dirty. walkway from the main… Read Full Review

Seton Sands Caravan Park.
Strengths: nice and clean caravan.
Weaknesses: very limited activities and entertainment for children and adults. Very little included in the price, big money needs to be spent for children/adults activities. Cleanliness very poor all over the facilities e.g. toilets, tables/floor in bar, swimming pool. Bar closed after 11 pm during the week. Under 18 being served alcohol in Showbar. Children getting upset as not enough spaces in the swimming pool for them when wanted… Read Full Review

First visit to Scotland and first Haven holiday. There were two of us and the caravan was a pleasant surprise. Very nice, spacious, interior looked fairly new and clean. I couldn't say if our caravan was the same as all the others, or if we'd got lucky, but ours was the basic and in very good condition. A few items were missing from inventory, so after contacting reception, within 20 minutes a lady came round and issued us with the missing items. Nice laundered sheets, mattresses and pillows… Read Full Review

What a terrible excuse of a holiday this was. The caravan was smelly and damp. We were't given anything to clean it with, bar a dust pan and brush, a broken mop and a head of a brush. We complained to reception who promised to send a cleaner and explained that you basically get what you're given. Cleaner never turned up. The complex was laid out so you had to pass the amusement arcade everytime you went to the bar/restaurant/swimming pool. It really is a dump. Please don't risk your bank… Read Full Review

After a 4 hour drive to scotland with two screaming excited kids and a chance to catch up with my best friend and with out our husbands.we were worrying about putting our tent up ,we arrived at Seton Sands to a warm welcome from staff. The manager of the camping field straight away with out asking helped us put up the tent(thank god). The scenery was beautiful as you got a seafront image of the beach.Small camping field where everyone was friendly.the shower and toilet block was acceptable in… Read Full Review

Just spent a week at at Seton Sands and wished i hadnt. My main moan is regarding the restaurant/cafe staff and food. It was woefully understaffed, and the staff clearly hadnt heard of health and safety. Our first complaint was dismissed with "Its not my department". The second complaint about the food quality was a shrug of the shoulders. We will not be going back and if you have any standards of food hygiene, i woulod suggest you dont either… Read Full Review

Wanted to visit North Berwick so seton sands seemed the ideal place to stay for an inexpensive break. Booked the Prestige Caravan (3 bed) so we could check in a bit earlier and have the comfort, which was true. The caravan has what you need but still smelt like cat wee!!! thank god we were in Forth View (all the different parts are names after famouse golf clubs)and far away from the centre. As you come in there is the fish and chip shop which is very expensive, then there is the kids play park… Read Full Review

Seton Sands was the worst caravan park I have ever been to.
We ventured into the show bar and to our surprise there was an absolutely brilliant band playing.
We spoke to the band after their first set and the management had said they didn't want them to do second set as they were too loud and a couple of people had left.
The people who left are people who leave irrelevent of who, what, volume or anything else, I know this as I know them! .
The band did play second set but were too quiet-you are… Read Full Review

I have visited this Seton Sands on a few occasions over the past 3 years! The staff have always been very friendly and fantastic with the kids. Swimming pool and arcade facilities were great and the location of this park was fantastic, plenty to do in Edinburgh, East Lothian and there is a great transport link into the city centre! There is no excuse for you to be bored! I could go on and on about the Haven Holidays we have had here but why ruin the surprise, try it yourself… Read Full Review

The kids loved it at Seton Sands Haven Holiday Park, and so did me and my hubby! What more is there to say? We would go back again. It was EXCELLENT.
The caravans were nice, and well situated near the main centre. There is something to do for all the family. Very good value for money!… Read Full Review
