“Terrible attitude to complaint of disatisfaction”

Ordered plates with (I thought!)dark blue border, arrived with mid blue on front and a sort of bluey grey on rear.Although there is a dislaimer re colour reproduction in their terms, I believe the difference was beyond reasonable. When I rang them to complain & request a refund I met a brick wall, they just kept referring to their terms and where not prepared to move an inch, not even an apology or any sign of concern at my disatisfaction.Once they have got your money they couldn't care... I ordered my plate as a surprise gift for my wife and it was all co-ordinated for me to present the plates on Christmas Day and for my wife to be able to drive her car on Christmas Day with the new plates on her car. “Unfreindly Unresponsive Company, stay away”

I asked for a valuation from this company. They took so long to respond I sold my number plates with my car. They now keep sending me emails and will not stop. I tried to phone them but they do not answer the phone. They did answer one of me emails and told me that I had to write to them to say that I had sold the numbers plates (although I did not reigister with them or tell them that I accepted their valuation). “Plates not always available”

I ordered my plate from Premier Plates based on the good reviews found here on Review Centre. However, unfortunately my experience was not so good. The plate I purchased was not available. I went through the checkout process - providing my card details etc - to receive an email the next day stating my plate was not available and trying to sell me different plates. We are a registration broker like all other registration brokers in that we are marketing registrations on behalf of clients, our own stock, and government stock. We are compromised by the actions of those people that fail to notify us that they no longer hold entitlement to a registration despite a declaration to the effect that notification will be provided to us in writing by signed letter. Unfortunately all registration brokers experience this situation which is both disappointing to the purchaser and the broker. We regret this situation occurring and we endeavour to provide a replacement at the same price. We do not gain in this situation and we incur marketing costs for no return.

Hi this just happened to me too. The reg I was after was still showing on the website (fair enough I appreciate (name removed) response explaining why this sometimes happens) However what I'm unhappy about is firstly I paid for the plate then received an automated response then nothing for a few days. Only when I made enquiries was I told "sorry it's no longer available". Marvellous. So the moral of the story is DVLA site first, then if you have no joy search around the brokers but don't use the shoddy websites, just ring them up.

I emailed Premier Plates UK to tell them the plate was no longer available, but they keep emailing me. They requested written confirmation of this, but the email is written confirmation - how else would they know to request written confirmation? Now they want money without providing a service. I did not have this problem with any other numberplate companies, so be very wary. There are plenty of other companies offering this service, so try one of the others. (read more)

Premier Plates provide a valuation service on the basis of you making the reg available for sale. They provide you with their expertise and their marketing of the reg at no charge providing the reg is available to sell. All that they ask is that you send a signed letter notifying them that you have lost entitlement to the reg. Email is not adequate as it could be anyone providing information and there are a lot of people prepared to misrepresent the facts by e-mail rather than by signed letter.

I am having the same experience. I only wanted a valuation on my number plates and because they took so long to respond I sold the number plates on my car. Premier Plates keep emailing me. I have responded by email and written to them, but they are saying that they have not received my letter. I have now sent a recorded delivery letter and am wating to see what happens. I have also tried to phone this faceless unfriendly company but can not get a response

This is because some of the plates advertised on their website are not available they are only from people that have asked for a valuation. I asked them to value my plates and they are advertising them on the website although I have now sold them and also notified Premier Plates several times.
