    Good Points: None

Bad Points: Bait and switch. False advertising.

General comments: I had recently ordered a Canon Digital Rebel XT (body
only) from their online store. One of their representatives called me two
days later and said the camera advertised was "an overseas model." He then
cancelled that order and tried to get me to buy the "USA model" for twice
the cost. Not only did the web page not indicate this "model" issue, it
    actually makes no sense.

Much like everyone else, I had the same experience with InfinitiPhoto. I bought a Nikon D70S for less than anywhere else. I called to get it confirmed and I got 'upsold' on a battery and charger for several hundred dollars. I told them I did not want them and they told me they couldn't fulfil the order without them. They then tried to charge me a restocking fee. I had to contact the credit card company and report it.

I called InfinitiPhoto to order a DVD camcorder at $499 found at their website.
They asked for the credit card information which I gave them without doubt.

Then, something happened. They told me that total is not $499, it's $699. Because camera comes with UV filter and external quick charger, which is boundled for sale. Means that I have to buy them together.

I declined that offer, and told them clearly that I need to cancel the order. They rudely told me no, you are not allowed to canc ...

The Infinitiphoto online camera shop suck you in by underpricing something. I bought an HD camcorder for $300 less than it was advertised elsewhere, and $1,000 less than at reputable dealers.

Then a sales guy calls you, supposedly to verify the expiration date on my credit card, and proceeds to sell you a bunch of over-priced knock-off Chinese rubbish - $1,000 for a battery charger, etc. - that he tells you you need.

I hummed and hawed, but like an idiot I eventually gave in and ended up a ...

So my wife wants this nice camera for Christmas. (a Nikon d70s specifically). Infiniti Photo, aka Best Price Cameras, has a ridiculous low price on their site. Now I've been through this with liquidators that advertise something on the net selling under most stores' cost price, and then make it up through bait and switch or hard up-sell tactics. Being prepared ahead of time, I politely told them, when I received my order confirmation email, that I was on the road and could not call them to (for ...

Bought lowest found priced Canon DV camcorder at InfinitiPhoto. After 2 days, company called and asked what size battery I wanted with this camcorder and gave me $70-$130 price range. I was told battery is not included in cost when I asked where the battery was that Canon put in the box at the factory? Said 2 types of kits are sent to authorized sellers, with and without battery. I chose lowest priced battery, instead of cancelling, because the price was still lower than anywhere else. 3 days la ...

Back order with 4-6 weeks and it is not even sure. No confirmation. You have contact long waited phone line with 800 numbers.
I ordered EOS 20 but cancelled now. Infiniti photo's customer support is rude.

I have the same experience from Infiniti Photo, do not buy anything from them. I ordered a Sony dvd403 camorder, and they sent me a email saying that I need to call them, and they told me that it was out of stock, need 2 more weeks.

I ordered a camera from InfinitiPhoto, and after waiting 18 days and not hearing anything, I called them. It took half an hour of being transferred around and placed into voice mails, to then be yelled at when I asked to speak to the Manager. I was told I was speaking to the Manager who was apparently the only one working, except in the Sales Dept. which was full of people whom I could hear. I was told that it was my fault that I can't understand or hear when a person transfers my call. Obvious ...

I ordered a Sony digital camera from Infinitiphoto, and after waiting for a few days without a status on my order (ex. tracking number of the shipment), I decided to email them. I got a reply back stating that I needed to call them for verification. Now, why didn't they indicate that? When I called them back, they said the camera was in back-order and wouldn't be available for another 2 weeks. Did someone inform me of that? The answer is NO. I got so frustrated with their endless excuses, that I ...

I ordered EOS 20D KIT # 1(18-50 & 55-200) PLUS EXTRAS from InfinitiPhoto. After 8 days, since there was no response from them, I called and they tried to sell me a battery for the camera. When I didn't want the battery, they said they do not have the camera!

The InfinitiPhoto Online Camera Shop said the Video camera I had ordered was in stock, so I got the express shipping. The day it was supposed to come, it didn't! The next day I called them to see what was going on, and they said the order was not in stock, and it wouldn't ship in the next week and a half!! I needed the camera for a trip that weekend. There went my important trip with no camera!

Frauds. Infiniti Photo offered lowest price and had to call to confirm order. When they wanted to sell vastly overpriced accessories I declined. Two weeks later I get an e-mail that they over sold and had to cancel the order. I then checked the website to see that they were still offering the same camera for the same low price.

Order Canon 20D Body. Received email about problem with credit approval, called them & nothing was wrong. Wanted me to buy Battery & other accessories that Canon put in box. Contacted Canon Cust Service, & they do not sell this camera without battery, charger, usb cable, software. Even to distributors. Once I told them I already had a Canon (rebel 300D) Victor said he, he'd have there shipping department send it. No more 2 minutes after hanging up I receive a email that the item is out of st ...

Classic Bait and switch tactic over there. Do not buy from www.infinitiphoto.com. They advertise the canon sd400 for $339. Then I get the email to call them to confirm my order. Right from the start the salesman asks me, what kind of memory card will I need with my order. So I tell him, I just want the 16mb that comes with the factory sealed box. He then informs me that the $339 only includes the camera, and that's it. I said are you seperating the camera from the factory box? He replies, "No, 9 ...
