Holiday Truths is okay but there are far better review sites with more up to date information (Trip Advisor) is the best one.
Very clique - some moderators don't like people to have opinions.
If they don't like your replies, some can ban you from posting.

It appears to me that if they don't like what I say they edit or ban me. If you don't agree with the moderators in my experience you have had it.
I could be wrong but I think this site may well have links to a travel lawyer, as they always recommend them.

Arrived at the airport and didn't get stopped by the drug squad to be strip searched this time, thankfully. It seems they have started renovating the airport and it's a lot brighter and cleaner than it was the last time we went.
Taxi to the hotel was 15 euros and there is always plenty outside, they have set tariffs to different parts of the island, all reasonable prices. Or check out this for prices and other info rodos.com, we spoke to a couple in the hotel who booked taxi transfers in the UK ...

I have been using this site for about 7 years. I never book a holiday without checking out the accommodation first on this site. I have also learned lots of ways to save money and now book most of my holidays DIY. Anything you need to know you will find it somewhere on it or become a member and ask the questions yourselves. Asked the carpet to be removed as it was filthy no replacement given. We had screw nails put in the main door to keep it together. Bathroom door would not open or close. Seating at the table was filthy had to be covered with towels. No room to eat at the table. Kitchen was only about two feet from the bed. the chair at the dressing table had a leg missing it toppled when used and was absolutely filthy had to put out on the balcony. I first joined HT 3 weeks ago. I found it a good information forum and soon found myself answering some questions based on my own personal travel experiences. Traveling directions etc. I think I answered about 9 questions in total. 3 of my posts (on different threads over the 3 weeks) included a company name. (Looking at all the threads on the forum it can easily be interpreted that company names/Urls can be given out, about 98% of the replies include a company name).

Overall, the hotel we stayed in in Gran Canaria, was a good hotel to stay in, in terms of proximity to attractions and amenities, but not many amenities on the hotel site itself.
I would recommend the ground floor if you have kids, so you can avoid the stairs with pushchairs !
I recommend the off-site supermarket close by for supplies, as it is cheaper, and better stocked.

Holiday Truths www.holidaytruths.co.uk - I found this site last year while looking for some advice on a flight I had booked at the time, have never looked back, met some great people got some of the best advice I could ask for, and a very, very well run website. Hats of to the admin/mods for making this site such a smooth and easy site to use and navigate to the information you want.

I joined Holiday Truths last year whilst looking for information on a holiday destination. It has proved to be an invaluable source of up to date information on all types of holidays, home and abroad, plus unending travel related tips from peoples real experiences, good and bad.

I discovered Holiday Truths approximately 2 years ago and became a member immediately. There is a wealth of information on there and the discussion forums are excellent for finding out information when planning a holiday - if you want to find out what your chosen resort/hotel is like before you book, look no further. Holiday Truths www.holidaytruths.co.uk - I joined this site in February 05 and haven't looked back. All countries are covered, even the UK, which is a bonus. People do seem to go out of their way to answer your questions. There's also a photo section which can be great and there are lots of reviews of hotels and the holiday area.
There is a general chat forum which is in its own. I've managed to ask lots of questions here, not holiday related, and have received some very good advice back. brill ...

I joined Holiday Truths last year to check up on a forthcoming holiday. It is amazing the information to be gained on it. There are destination and hotel reviews, pics of everywhere. Advice sites even on computer problems. Great diy forum and flight forum. I would say there's nothing about holidays you can't find on here. Credit must be given to all the moderaters who keep Holiday Truths Tops.

Holiday Truths www.holidaytruths.co.uk - This is THE most helpful site I have ever come across for holiday information. The admin staff are excellent and the members are more than happy to help with anything they can. The amount of info about countries, resorts and accommodation is second to none! I joined www.holidaytruths.co.uk in June 2004 and haven't looked back since! You can virtually guarantee a response to any query holiday or general! I have found out so much information when I was enquiring about train travel in India etc. Excellent site with extremely friendly members/admin who cannot do enough to help you.

I first joined www.holidaytruths.co.uk in Dec 2004, I found the site extremly helpful, for my up-and-coming wedding in cyprus, the members advice and info is second-to-none. I will continue to use Holiday Truths for all my future holidays and hopefully help other members with my holiday experiences.

I have been using www.holidaytruths.co.uk site for almost two years now; I read up on a proposed Nile Cruise we were contemplating, and the feedback I had from other site users was extremely helpful.
On our return I felt I had to repay the compliment, so posted a review of the cruise. One of the moderators thanked me in a most friendly and courteous way - I felt like one of the family thereafter!

I discovered www.holidaytruths.co.uk last year when looking for information on the internet regarding a hotel I'd booked for the Summer.
Had I not come across www.holidaytruths.co.uk (aka HT!) I could well have had a holiday from hell.
It transpired the hotel I'd booked (in Bulgaria) wasn't ready for guests,there were several Health and Safety issues with the hotel and grounds, as well as very negative reports regarding the standard of food.
