    I have tried Proactive twice - once as a teenager and then again in my late 20s. The first time I used Proactive it made the sides of my nose itch horribly and failed to clear my skin. After using every last drop of Proactive, my acne issues were still apparent. I decided to try again over a decade later since my acne had gradually worsened, hoping it would be successful after a second try. Boy was I WRONG!!! Not only did my acne stick around, but I actually lost pigment on my cheeks. This hypo-pigmentation caused me to suffer 3rd degree burns after enjoying a day outside at the pool, even after applying SPF70 sunscreen every hour!! I had blisters for a couple weeks afterwards, not to mention horrible white patches on my face once the inflammation went away...I am hispanic-mixed and these marks were VERY obvious and had to purchase tattoo coverup makeup since they showed thru layers of regular liquid and powder foundation. I went to see 2 dermatologists and an allergist to help me get back on track which they were unable to do. Thankfully my face has healed on its own and turned back to its normal color - almost 2 years later.

    Just because you can buy this product without a prescription does not make it safe to use. And, to think it was so EXPENSIVE, it sure did not honor its intended purpose. I feel this product deserves a "zero" star rating; however, I was not able to post without selecting a star. I would NEVER recommend Proactive to ANYONE.

    Solution Proactive has caused me to have an allergic reaction. I purchased Proactive on a Saturday. By Sunday evening my eye's were swollen and my face was bright red and itchy. I am allergic to this product and would definatley recommed a spot test prior to putting this product all over your face.

    This product works best for those like me, who always have spots on their face, because it helps clear your entire face when used as a daily skin treatment that helps clear existing and future breakouts. If you just get the odd spot, your better off getting one of those spotting treatments that targets one pimple at a time.I also wouldn't recommend it for those with sensitive skin, as it is too harsh.overall, It worked great for me, My skin feels smoother than it has for ages.

    After using proactive for about six months....I noticed that my skin on my face is much darker than the rest of my skin. I'm still trying to correct this.

    I never really had really bad acne but i had enough to get proactive...the first day i used it my face felt clean! It didn't take long at all (not even a week) for my pimples to start to disappear but right after that same week my face broke out way more than it ever has! It got really gross! So i stopped using it and my face went back to its normal acne ways... i had froze my account and forgot about it so a few months later another proactive box was at my door and at this time i was in my fi ...

    Great product. Totaly rejuvenates your skin. Makes it so soft, just like a babies skin, after using it, once, it already started to work. I love the toner to, cause I have an oily face so it helps remove oil. It may be expensive, but it works better and faster then any thing in stores! Also, for anybody with sensitive skin who tried it, it said on not recommended for sensitive skin, because it is a little to harsh for that type of skin. Great product !

    I bought the ProActive acne treatment set. First off, it's expensive. 2nd, it worked for like the first two weeks (it takes at least a week to work). Then, it just doesn't work anymore. It's definitely not what its all cracked up to be. I thought I was going to have clearer skin...just like the stars...WRONG. Do not buy. It's a waste of money. Store products work just as effective.

    Solution Proactive cleared my skin for few weeks and then it broke out again. It also dried out my face. Tried to use to less so it wouldn't dry it out but then I would break out more. It didn't work.

    When I bought Solution Proactive it worked wonderfully for a while clearing up parts of my face more than others. For the most part it was pretty clear, until I stopped using it, becuase it was getting too pricey. Maybe the week later at the latest my face broke out and has been the worst ever ever since. I tried not to give into it for a couple months thinking my face had to get used to being without it but it continues to worsen.

    I had an acne breakout since I was in high school until I graduated from college. From time to time I was experiencing acne for more than 10 years.     Solution Proactive didn't help my skin what-so-ever; it made it worse! My face was completely covered in pimples after using it, and then I was like. Okay, maybe it'll get worse before it gets better. So I kept using it and not only did it not get any better, but my whole face started to peel! If you have sensitive skin, this product is absolutely not for you!

    I'm a teenager now in first year university, and I've always had acne since maybe grade 7. My acne wasn't horrible but it was not very attractive. so I tried Clean and clear, Neutrogena, Oxy ETC. but one day I was at my wits end and decided to buy Proactive, you can only get it from the TV however.
