    The Kona Stinky Dee-lux has awesome shock absorbtion and downhill manners. Kona does a good job of braking using the D.O.P.E. system- no brake/travel lockup bobble when doing steep decents. You can safely huck 10 feet plus without a problem. Feel absolutely safe when riding. I think it is heavy at 43 pounds and there's a lot of drag from the thru axle setup. I think you'd need a set of steel legs to push this baby up the mountain.
    All in all I think you get pretty good bang for the buck. I paid $1500 for the Stinky/Deluxe build but added a FOX DHX 5.0 rear shock and 600 lb spring to replace the TST. The bike already came with triple clamp 888 front fork with stiff springs. Total cost was under $2000.

    Nice bike, i was surprised, i thought it would be really heavy and it was kinda light, great bike. Awesome forks and lighter than i thought it would be

    My Kona Stinky Dee-lux is a cool bike! Buy this if you want to push yourself to the limit and beyond, it won't let you down. A bit overkill for most UK trails but comes into its own when the going gets rough. Riding uphill your gonna need a decent set of legs and lungs and be ready to sweat. That said the propedal shock can be wound up to give an almost rigid feel to the back end.

    The first live sight of the Kona Stinky Dee-lux was totally hypnotic. You can't really get the true picture just from a photo. The bike looks massive at first but you get used to it. At my first test-drive, I noticed that the bike was very stable, and later on I noticed it turned rock steady at high speeds.
