    bought it used and did have the manual. found out it will not work with windows vista. hear they wasn't gonna fix the problem.had all hopes with this thing let down.

    For my uses, the DXG 305V is all right. This camera works perfectly, taking pictures, recording videos, and listening my mp3 music.
    The megapixeles of this camera is 3.0, if it was higher, it would be better.

    When it works as Webcam, it doesn't work like another webcams.

    I've had the DXG 305V for 2 years and I am still enjoying using it. I just wish it came with a light of some sort for occasions when lighting is an issue.

    Probably the best $100 I ever spent. I have taken and downloaded 1000's of pics. Easy to operate and compact. Also for the price,if it gets stolen or lost...big deal. I'll buy another.

    The DXG 305V has some good features and it's very compact and easy to use. Has OK video quality, good for price though. The sound quality is OK. My screen on mine most of the time doesn't work, it just is all scrambled, may have to wait a few minutes for it to work. On mp3 it says to almost every song 'unknown', doesn't show the title.

    The DXG 305V is not a bad camera for the price, very sturdy in contruction. The camera I have is a very good product so far. The only problems I experienced was due to my own ignorance in proper operation. The manual is written for this reason.

    The camera itself is great but only when it works - I have had so many problems with it like the fact that the screen doesn't show up when I turn it on yet the camera is still on!

    My DXG 305V digital camcorder is rubbish! It should be sold for 29.99 at the most. The customer support at their HQ is the worst I have ever experienced. I would recommend you look on eBay and buy something else, but avoid one of the many DXG 305V digital camcorders that everyone is dumping!

    This is one of the best gadgets I ever bought, and I have been buying electronic gadgets for over 25 years. I carry this camera everywhere I go. Looking forward to the next generation of this model, higher resolution, tripod mount, AC adapter etc.

    For the money, the DXG is an excellent all around camera. It is small and compact and fits neatly on your belt (via provided loop on the case). I take this camera with me instead of the my other digitals because it requires nothing but fresh batteries and a memory card.

    BTW, I put rechargeable batteries in the camera and have run the same set for the last two weeks of pretty steady use.

    For a small camera, it has a lot of great features. It will serve as a webcam as well as play back dir ...

    I just got one of these DXG 305V's to play around with and think that the other review is silly. This is not a $600 unit, and that needs to be understood when spending $100-$130 for it. I have installed the video software with no issue whatsoever. I have alot of computer knowledge... and never ran into any weird issue with the installation or use. The only thing I did have to do is update my Media Player codecs which I should have done months ago anyway (took me 3 minutes). DO NOT GET ME WRONG t ...
