Had this for 6 months now, absolutely brilliant. Has a lovely feel to the wooden stock, nice and weighty accurate to the mm as long as you have zeroed the iron sights or the scope. I highly recommend a decent zoom scope and very powerful for hunting. I have no idea about power of the gun but i know from my own experience it can kill vermin like rabbits. I have not had any major problems yet but very small spots of rust can appear on the barrel so give it a good dry place or dry it after use. In damp conditions also be sure to give the break barrel mechanism a good clean every week or so as it can become stiff and dirty. If you are thinking of putting a sling on this beware it has no sling points and they have to be drilled in to the stock even by a pro this can crack the stock. I have seen this before on some wood stocks also. Although good, the iron sights are quite cheapy as my rear sight has broken after a week of use. All small problems like these can be solved through good care. This is perfect for beginners and looks great 10/10. All you have to do is look after it and zero your sights or scope and i promise you will be amazed, SMK Supergrade XS19 one of the best.

I have two, SMK Supergrade XS-19 is a great beginners gun. A bit heavy but a real work horse of a gun. My son has had to have a new spring fitted to his after about 6 months, could have just been a one off but we take down rabbits all the time no problem.

I was in the market for a more expensive air rifle but stressed to my trusty gunsmith (not a million miles from the Lizard in Cornwall) that it was basically a 'toy' with the odd squirrel to be seen off. My initial thought when offered the SMK Supergrade XS-19 was 'cheap Chinese rubbish, but the qualities of the rifle were explained carefully. The SMK Supergrade XS-19 is an excellent rifle had it for about 2 months now highly recomended ! It can be a bit heavy at times when your standing, scope it comes with isnt really up to standerd had to zero it in a few times now already

The SMK Supergrade XS-19 is an excellent gun for hunting and targets
it is very powerful.
it is good value for money so i recomend it if you want an air rifle for under £130 because this gun was £125

I bought one of these for my son's birthday having had my own BSA gun for many years. I have been very suprised by how well this gun shoots. I put a 4 - 40 hawke scope on it and my son can manage to shoot it very accurately - even at distances of up to 50 yards. Power seems to reflect this as a full power gun - I haven't chrono'd it but it will go straight through a soup tin at 50 yards.

I find the gun quite light and my 13 year old son can manage to shoot it accurately without need for a rest ...

SMK Supergrade XS-19 is power on a budget, easy to load and easy sight but its a bit on the heavy side.
This is my 1st snap barrel air rifle and wont be my last great gun worth a buy, even iv u already have 1 better.

This SMK Supergrade XS-19 rifle was my first, and I must say that as a beginner's rifle: it is outstanding. At under £130, I'm not sure if you will find a much better break barrel gun. You can be sure to shoot accurately at 25yards (typical target distance) with the provided sights which really work well and are easily zeroed. As for scopes (for longer range shots), a decent one that will cope with the recoil and is cheap is an SMK 4x32 (about £25). I would however advise getting som ...

If you are starting off the SMK Supergrade XS-19 is a great gun to shoot targets with its nice and light (ive got the fiberoptic sight version) accurate and low recoil but if your like me and like al ot of recoil then its a bad thing (like the smk db4). Well i would recomend this to any starter. ive got it in .22

I must say that the SMK Supergrade XS-19 is extremely good value for money. I bought one for my 11 year old son with a scope but was a bit concerned about the recoil that the XS19 (apparently had plenty of), but don't believe it, the recoil is marginal and the rifle very accurate. My 11 year old put 4 slugs (.22) in a tennis ball size target at 25 yards and they where his 1st 4 shots ever. Don't under estimate the rifle though, it is a full power piece of kit. Good strong simple gun and i give it 9 out of ten. is strongly recommended for first air gunners as is fairly cheap too

I am a gunsmith and have been selling these rifles for a few years sold over 60 and not even had a single rifle i gave my son one a while back for a first gun he used it most weekend takes down rabbits duck etc easily from 40-50 yards and has not lost power still at 11.8 pressure
