I ordered a Heatmaster U3 Quad Head Parasol Heater with a heater tripod and 4 extra gold bulbs. The heater and tripod were delivered within days (very well packaged) and the company provided a courtesy call to say that the bulbs would arrive within a couple of weeks. When the bulbs arrived (again superbly packed) I realised I had placed an order for the wrong bulbs. Bought a 3 Set Of Rainbow Glass Spheres from Gardenitems and I'm very pleased with them. I'm writing this review primarily because one of the spheres arrived broken. I contacted them by email informing them of the situation, and they replied the same day saying that they needed an image of the damage so that they could make a claim with their courier. I placed my order, then realised two days later I had ordered the wrong item, I emailed and received a reply that night although I had emailed very late. They then rang me the next day and halted the delivery of my item, although it had been dispatched and resent the item I wanted. All at no extra cost. The beautiful Heron I had ordered arrived today, I am so pleased with it, the quality is excellent and lovely a present for my Mum. It came packaged with care on the day I was advised.... Well made product with real ceramic tiles, not a fake fascia like on some products. I purchased the infill side table to go with it so the fire pit can be used as a coffee table when you're not using it to keep warm or cook food. A great little furniture set for my courtyard garden, delivered in reasonable time at a very very good price. I saw the same product in Dobbies for considerably more. Impressed. (read more)

My wife and I are having the garden done, which is probably one of the largest investments we've undertaken. So, where possible, I have tried to bring the costs down. One of the items on the buy list was the Heatmaster Ultra Patio Heater. So I looked for the said heater, with the best price appearing to be Garden Furniture World - £ 229.99 (£ 70.00 off in their sale. What I like about this website is that they do lean towards providing just the better quality stuff, instead of selling average stuff and saying it's the best. I have made few purchases, but was most impressed with my latest buy of a 12 master pack of Trento Solar Spot Lights. Bought an Urban Fire Pit Off www.gardenitems.co.uk and I'm very pleased with the product and the price I paid. They had a promotion where you could buy the cover for £1.00 and a Hotspot heat-proof mitt for £1.00 so it worked out well. If the promotion ends then it would be cheaper elsewhere, but with the promotion it's a package I didn't see better elsewhere. Delivery ad was for 5 days delivery, but it was sent UK Mail next day. Recently took delivery of this weeping willow copper water tree. Truly stunning, and delivered within the 30 days it is supposed to take to craft by hand. We had some problems with it when it first arrived (blocked capillary tubes) but we phoned and got some advice from the person who owns the company, and it was resolved quite quickly.

On the whole a positive experience for our second web purchase. Nice to do business with a small company that specialises in unique, quality products.... (read more)

All I can say is that I have never been able to afford one of these until this sale started. 2 years ago, on first release, the product was double this price - way more than I could afford. A bought a quad parasol heater recently and it arrived within two days of ordering it. I noticed on the delivery docket that it was next day delivery, so not bad considering it is free delivery. Only complaint I have is that you can't track your order online and they don't send an email to advise despatch. However, I do understand that smaller companies don't tend to have this technology. M. Bought an Urban 650 fire pit last week. I phoned them up and got some advice, and was told not to go for the Urban 880, because it would be too big for my courtyard garden. The 650 arrived and the advice was spot on. The Urban 880 would have been too big, so thanks to Dan in customer services for the advice. Bought a fire pit from these guys for bonfire night this year. I needed some advice and an assurance of delivery on a particular day so I gave them a call and a real person answered within 5 rings. I got advice on what would be the most impressive fire pit so I settled on an Urban 880. I asked for next day delivery and an impressive product arrived the next day. I like www.gardenitems.co.uk. It's simple to use and it adheres to its theme of providing quality, style-oriented products. Someone answered the phone within a couple of rings and after some good friendly advice I ordered a Grilltech range grill, and was able to choose the day of delivery. No real negatives to report, apart from the fact that the delivery driver was rude, although this isn't their fault because it was sent by a third party pallet courier. (read more)

They are significantly more expensive than most others on the market, but when I sent them an email asking me why I got a response within an hour explaining exactly what I was getting for my money. I bought a Hawaii solar fountain from Garden Items, www.gardenitems.co.uk, and everything went as I was told it would. It doesn't work in direct sunlight, but it's great when the sun hits the solar panel - exactly how they said. It came a day late but I'll let them off this bearing in mind it is the busy season. I can't help thinking that this is one of those few web cataloguers who believe in telling the truth about a product. Can this be true ?!!!! (read more)
