I bought this about a year ago and to be honest I didn't have high expectations but it DOES work and you don't need to use that much or for very long and the price is reasonable.It does the same job as a whitening product from the dentist.If its used for very long your teeth will be sensitive but that goes with any whitening product. I bought the Dr Georges teeth whitening system ,a couple of years ago, and used it then. I didn't notice a huge difference but about 4 sessions in, I bumped into a mate in town, who actually said - 'have you had your teeth whitened'. Even my partner was amazed as neither of us had noticed a significant difference. I brought this around 6 months ago instead of going to the dentist and spending around £400 on teeth whitening. I used it for 2 weeks at first and seen an amazing improvement, everybody kept mentioning how white they were. Now I am constently using it and buying more gel. It does hurt and make your gums sore but once you've done the two weeks you just cut down on the usage and the pain is no more. (read more)

I have been using this whitener on and off for about 4 years and i just cant get enough! i have also been recommending it to a lot of my friends who are also in the process of trying it for themselves! The only thing that isn't so good about it is, if you do over fill the trays it will go onto your gums and it can burn, the first time i used it, it did burn my gums but now i think my gums have gotten used to it. i was lucky enough to be recommended by a friend who could show me her results... I suspect a lot of this product reviews are written by the company itself, so be careful. I have been trying this for over a month now and have seen little improvement. My teeth hurt after I have applied the product according to the manufactures instructions, this does not seem healthy. I would not recommend this to anyone. I feel dupp by the YouTube reviews that are all by the company and have had comments disabled. Suspicious one thinks. (read more)

Purchased this product well over a year ago now for me and my family (mum, dad and boyfriend). We drew straws to decide who got to use the mouth guard (my boyfriend drew the longest straw so he got it) It was very easy to get it moulded to his teeth, and he found comfortable to wear. The mouth guard meant no spillages and no burning gums as many people comment on in their reviews. He wore the gel once a day for half an hour for two weeks. This stuff really does work, I have had my teeth whitened at the dentist which cost £350 around 5 years ago and Instead of paying thar again i bought this product and have been using this for 5 days and can already see the difference. Yes your teeth will be sensitive because you are putting peroxide on them but to be honest the dentists whitening made my teeth more sensitive and burned my gums a lot more than this. The sensitivity does go away eventually and to help you can put toothpaste in the gum guards which will help put fluoride back into your teeth (as advised by my dentist). This product is definitely worth the money and results will show after only a few uses.

hi i have been using dental white for about a week now does it work well yes is does. after using it for one week my teeth are about 5 shades lighter, it can make your gums and teeth sensitive,but when you start to use the after care gel all the sensitivity has gone great product. Try not to use too much gel or it will spill out into your gums and can burn. although i didnt use their mouth trays couldnt get them to mould tightly,so picked up some of ebay they were a better fit. really happy... One of my friends whitened her teeth and the difference was absolutely amazing. I noticed it right a way. She recommended me this product and I have to say WOW!!! Hi Guys,
glad you found my post helpful. I use Arm and Hammer Enamel care as a daily toothpaste, its really good itself, keeps your teeth white and repairs the enamel surface also. Most times I combine toothpaste and gel 50/50. One thing I have to remind you is that when you whiten your teeth you must stick to white diet for 8-10 hours after the procedure (avoid anything that is strong colourant i.e. red wine, dark juices, any red or strongly coloured sauces, currys and smoking) this is really important otherwise you just waste your time (whats the point of whitening if stains get back into the tooth pores right after). The reason is because when you use peroxide based theeth whitenners your teeth become pores i.e. tiny pores on your teeth open whilst peroxide cleans the stains that are lodged deep in the pores of your teeth. Also do not brush your teeth immediately before whitening procedure as your gums become sensitive and painful even more, give it about an hour after you brush your teeth, then do not brush your teeth for few hours after as the peroxide takes the 30 minutes to activate and to reach your teeth pores, but works for up to 8 hours after so just use mouthwash for sensitive teeth to wash out the residue and taste out of your mouth.
For less stained teeth I recommend to use the gel 1 - 2 times per day for about week and the results should be brilliant for more stained teeth use 1 - 2 times per day for at least two weeks (but must stick to white diet afte treatment or you will really just waste your time. Then I use the gel maybe 2-3 times per month just to keep my white smile as a maintenance. If you have any other questions just ask. Good luck guys (well don't think you need the luck just persistancy with this) Take care

with regards to the blue light, I actually never used one, the gel worked well enough for me even without. I have to say I researched the blue light and aparently it is not actually proven to make any difference (but I don't want to lie to you as I never used it) sorry I couldn't help you with this. As far as I know, you use the blue light same time as you whiten your teeth i.e. put the gel in your custom trays, put it in your mounth and then insert the blue light unit into your mouth, then leave in your mouth for 30 mins or whichever it is advised. The blue gel is remineralising gel, again I do not actually use it. This is used stright after the whitening procedure and this claims to reduce the tooth sensitivity by hydrating the enamel and coating it with calcium phosphate. When you finish with the teeth whitening, clean the trays and put bit of the remineralising gel into your trays and insert into your mouth for another 15 minutes, then rinse. I normally just rinse my mouth with Listerine for sensitive teeth and rub sensodyne toothpase for sensitive teeth onto my teeth to prevent the sensitivity (this works for me really well)
To be perfectly honest with you I think the light and the gel is just waste of money, but that's just my own opinion. I hope this helps Thank you and take care

Since you say "It did not come right away", after how many days have you noticed some slight changes? Considering I am on my 5th day today and I apply it twice a day for a total of 1 hr, and that I don't see really much appening up to now...I hope it will soon.
In your experience, after how many days have you started noticing whitening? I don't understand how people can have whiter teeth after the first application!?!?!!
Has anyone had the same situation and did it come out working after the whole 14 days?

I was a bit cynical but gave it a go. Takes a few weeks but the results are seriously good. I did ask the dentist about having it done and he was quoting £300 - so really worth a try with this stuff. Only down side - my teeth did after the first few times I used seem a little sensitive. Just rub on some sensitive toothpaste straight after - problem gone. (read more)

Firstly.....I am a real person, I dont work for the dental whitening company, nor have my ratings been adjusted. The people complaining that it makes thier gums sore or teeth sensitive...that is normal. I have used this for years and LOVE it! It works great and I always get compliments on how white my teeth are. The only thing I don't like or use is the mouth trays. Even after boiling them, I could never get them to fit my mouth. So I use foil...like Reynold's. I cut 2 strips to fit my top and bottom teeth and apply a thin layer of gel in the middle of each strip. The foil easily wraps around your teeth and stays in place pretty well. It also reduces the amount of gel that gets on your gums! (read more)

That's called \"having a panic attack\". The fear of not knowing what might happen to your teeth the minute you put the gel in caused the dizziness, faintness and the dilated pupils are are a by product of the latter. It tastes awful because it's not supposed to be eaten.

YES! I've been using this for just over 2 weeks now and my teeth are almost paper white. It did make my gums very sensitive for a few days, but after about a week I started getting compliments on my smile.
Also there is so much of the product included, enough for months! DEFINTELY try this, it's not an overnight solution but a bit of patience goes a long way. My only suggestion...

I hadn't tried any teeth whitening kits before but I couldn't afford to get them done at the dentist so I though I'd give it a go. Bought my kit through www.besthometeethwhitener.com and got the package with the blue light added.
The trays were easy to use but you have to heat them up once to get them to shape to your own teeth. The blue light is supposed to speed up development and I have to say I noticed a big difference after the first 30 mins.

"whiter by 3 shades" is useless info as theres no uniform shade chart. My teeth were brownish yellow, now theyre greyish yellow after 26days whitening. My dentist told me, I'd need trays for 4 hours a night for 4 weeks+, dr.george claims its 16% peroxide is same as dentist strength...recommends 60mins a day for 2wks...HAHA, so dr george info is WRONG, you cannot achieve those results in a short time. Got this for Christmas 09. Must say the trays are fiddly. I made a mess of my first try and had to order more trays. So I'm currently 2 weeks in to the process for my bottom teeth. It seems to be working. No sensitivity as yet. Not huge differences in colour but definitely something happening. I might try and leave them in for longer than 30 mins to see if this helps. Dr George's Teeth Whitening System works...trays can be tricky to form, need to follow instructions. I do not put the gel in the tray. It works better when you put it directly on your teeth, where you want it (just smile big then put tray over teeth). You will see results sooner if you add more gel after about 40 mins...can do this several times a day. The sensitivity went away after about a week and now the gel does not bother my teeth. I bought it off ebay for only £10.99 plus postage.
Tip: if it gives you sensitive teeth dentists apparently say to rub sensodine into your teeth and gums before bed and it helps

DR George's is the best. The first time I used it I did the recommended three applications. The result was amazing for something so inexpensive and easy. Every one noticed something was different but didn't know exactly what it was. Getting rid of the coffee stains gives you an instant younger appearance.
After that I only used one application once a week to maintain my bright smile.

I happened to have a bottom set mould which was made by my dentist for a teeth grinding problem. I use this and it fits perfectly. The one I have to use for the top is inefficient even though I followed the instructions, it does not fit properly. (read more)

I do not know what you are talking about. I can guarantee you this is not written by the company. I myself started the product last week and have seen an amazing difference. My teeth were only sore after the first use and the irritation to my gums is gone. I actually have them in right now as I am typing this. This is also coming from a person who's gums were extremely irritated by Crest White Stripes. Get over yourself, this product is unbelievable. pretty sure someone from this company would not write something like that.
