Good Points: Wide-screen aspect ratio Clear screen Reliability Build quality Relatively light to carry

General comments: My particular Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop model is a P4M 1.7Ghz Centrino (there is a 1.5 version around also). Standard build is 512MB RAM, which I upgraded at time of purchase to 1GB. It has a nVidia GeForce FX 64MB video card, which copes extremely well with games. Battery life for the standard battery is well over 2 hours (if you turn the screen brightness down). Synaptics touch pad is good, but I use a standard mouse by choice. Lots of good software provided by Toshiba - this machine is typical of other Toshiba's I have used/owned in the past. An excellent machine. Highly recommended.
