I've used Spamjab for many years and found them to be excellent at actually stopping Spam. I didn't mind when they started charging for the service because I thought it was worth it. When there were occasional issues in the early days the contact number worked and their support was OK. However, last year they promised to phone me back when I had a problem but never did. Fortunately that problem solved itself but nevertheless that incident was a warning that all is not well with them. In… Read Full Review

I have been a Spamjab user for several years and have always found them to be efficient and customer-oriented. This year, however, I was advised in October/November that the service would be down for two hours due to a server maintenance issue. After received no emails for 2 days I telephoned to see what the problem was and was told off-handedly that they would be back on line "soon". I sent them an email to cancel my subscription on renewal at the beginning of Dec 2010. Neverthetless, I… Read Full Review

I have contacted the Spamjab helpline so many times with problems and I have wasted so much valuable time on this software that I would have rather spent the time deleting the spam.
As far as the Helpline goes it has been as good as useless, with me it's as if they contact you when they feel like it but don't count on them.
I have contacted them so many times listing all of the problems I was having, then after many days have passed I get the reply "all is OK here, we need more info on your… Read Full Review

I needed a stringent spam filter as my e-mail address attracted hundreds of junk messages a week for a while. Spamjab works very well, and it only takes a quick glance at the website once a week to free any legitimate messages from the system. I'd like to see a few extra facilities such as vacation message but overall I'm very happy - especially as it's free for personal users!… Read Full Review

I have used the service for over 12 months and found it great, it 'learns' your good contacts over time and lets through all good emails and stops the spam. When there is something they are not sure about they email me so I can check and release it if I want.
Just changed my ISP and got Spamjab to change the email that they pick up from, the help line was great, rang me back to check and tell me that it had been done. Couldn't ask for more even if you paid for the service… Read Full Review

All this service seems to do is to block all emails from reaching your inbox until you've added the sender to a white-list. The remaining emails get deleted after a week or after you review them in the spam folder. Forget to review them and they're gone - good and bad.
OK, so the service is free but if you have to login to spamjab to review your emails then what's the point? Two other criticisms - the first is that the service is slow - takes over half an hour or longer to deliver mail - at… Read Full Review
