Good Points: 6.1, prologic2x, price, speed of surround sound processing, crisp detailed sound.
Bad Points: None.
General comments: Well I bought a Denon AVR-1705 reciever about 1 month ago to replace my Marantz SR4300, which was excellent but this Denon takes a large step up, with 6x80watts, 6.1, prologic2x, well it's got a lot of features. The sound with movies is fantastic, the speed of sound from front to rears is excellent putting you right in the action, music is good as well. Also has a high spec 32bit processing chip normally found in higher end recievers, if you're wondering what this does, well it places those crashes and bangs in the right places, and very fast, the amp is nice and slim and will fit on a shelf on a standard TV stand, only weighing 10kg or so, anyway I highly recommend it so buy with confidence.
