Good Points: Firmare Updates, Colour screen, USB 'OTG' Function, Wide range of supported file types, Video playback, Picture Veiwing, Playlist capabilities, Sound Quality, Radio Function

Bad Points: No support from iriver if you have a problem (although fantastic support from iriver fan sites such as www.misticriver.com),
Size (quite bulky in your pocket)

General comments: I have had the iriver H300 for 2 years now, and only once have I had any problem (it turned out to be a minor hardware fault, but thanks to misticriver forums, i could sort it out). It's wide range of functions make it more of a media device than an MP3 player, but the wide range of gadgets don't take away from the music capabilities; the sound quality is immence, better than any other MP3 player I have owned. Unfortunately they have stopped making them now, so the only way to get them is second hand. Overall, I have found it to be a fantastic device (100 times better than ANY ipod, which I can guarantee will have problems and will end up costing you a fortune, and seem to have a life of about one day over your warranty)

Decided I wanted something more than a basic player and first thought was go for an Apple iPod....my kids have them and they both look great and and do exactly what you expect an MP3 player to do.
For under £200 iRiver provide an MP3 player with a hard drive that holds masses of stuff. With a radio and mine even comes with a free car kit which works beautifully. I can store loads of ...
