    Good Points: 6kg load

Bad Points: where do i start everything is bad on this machine.

General comments: bough th ariston a105 in 2005 i have lost count the number of times the paddles have been replaced in the drum as they keep coming off, endless amounts of times they have come out because it wont spin or when it does clothes are still really wet,i have had the bearings replaced the pump and various other parts on average they come out to repair my machine about once every 2 months and once it was once a week for 3 weeks for various different things very fortunate i took out the whatever happens from currys or wouldve had cost me a fortune in repairs, the spin is also very noisy and often here things banging on the glass door which is probably a new loose part,it also doesnt clean that good either, the only benefit is the 6kg load which is ideal other than this this washing machine is proper rubbish.

I have to say after owning various washing machines, the Ariston we purchased is the best front load washer we have ever had. We decided on the Ariston once we found out many of the brands such as Whirlpool have all gone to china for manufacturing. The Ariston also has fast wash options which completes the wash in 30 minutes. Highly reccomend this brand and now we are looking at their ovens.

The ariston brand is awful. The machince broke down 6 times in one year. Trying to get it fixed was a nightmare.
    I DONOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND.

The bearing on my Ariston AL109 came loose after about 18 months use, I have been informed that my service/repair company is reluctant to repair as this model has a habit of coming back for the same repair within 2 years. The problem appears to lie with the 1600cps spin speed and a motor inadequate to cope. Very disappointed and no reason to repair as fault will continue to occur unless machine is only run on the slow spin cycle

Generally, I would consider Ariston AL 109 as a fairly good machine. It uses a minimal amount of water and thus saves a lot on waters bills. However, the machine is not as quiet as before when it does the spin.

I own an Ariston AWD 120 washer/dryer combo that I've owned for about 1 year and 6 months. The first year was great. It washed and dryed as promised. Then little things started going wrong. A wire, a fuse and now I can't get a hold of their service department and I should still be under their two year warranty. These combo energy efficient washers are a great idea but you should go with a big brand name like LG or something. I'm going to get rid of it.

We bought our Ariston AL109 nearly new but second hand. I can guess why they wanted rid, it's the most temperamental machine ever. We've had to replace the pump. The plastic bits in the drum have all broken off leaving metal to cut our clothes. Occasionally for no reason it refuses to do certain cycles, so you have to wash stuff on the wrong cycle to get anything done. Oh and don't get me started on the drying function! All it seemed to do is heat the clothes up, the water didn't seem to go anyw ...

We bought an Ariston AL109 (Margerita 2000) in April, 2002. It was OK for a while (about 6 months) and then it broke down. Since then we've had it repaired 8 or 9 times. They've had to replace the drum and do other repairs to it, and on one occasion it was in the repairer's workshop for about 2 weeks!

I've tried to complain to Ariston a couple of times but they're useless. In February 2005 they told me that a new company had taken over the service contract so they no longer had a record of al ...
