Good Points: Unique action, powerful, fun for plinking, spitting image of Desert Eagle
Bad Points: Poor quality, "plastic fantastic", non adjustable sights.
General comments: I owned two of these in quick succession: the CO2 seal in the grip went bad in the first one after a summer of plinking (put in the cartridge, tighten the screw, and all the CO2 would rush out). I exchanged it for another of the same, and that one's seal went bad within 3 weeks. This was a fun gun to just mess around with, shooting cans, plinking, etc (while it lasted). It was decently accurate after taking time to get used to the nonadjustable sights. I did get a big kick out of using an air pistol with functioning recoil action (only seen one other that has this feature, a Walther). But, the recoil action and its "big 'n' bad" Desert Eagle styling are its only real redeeming virtues. Considering the quality of this pistol, it isn't surprising that Daisy stopped making it.

A unique airgun. It has been in and out of production twice. First as the Powerline 400 and then the 400GX. The only difference between the 400 and 400GX is the 400GX has A synthetic Gold plated plastic frame and does not have the Daisy symbol on the grip while the 400 does.
The airgun uses A 20 shot removable magazine. 21 bbs can be loaded but not recommended.
This airgun is powerful. I use to shoot holes through mayonnaise jars with it and the bb went through so fast that it just blew hole ...
