Good Points: Everything I have tried to connect to it has worked.
One of the better looking sets around.
Bad Points: No function to correct the picture, although it has better magnetic shielding than the Panasonic I originally bought.
'Auto' Mode to switch the Visual broadcast formats is a bit slow - Go digital not an issue!
General comments: Can't say that I am a serious AV nut, but I can tell you I have been impressed with the JVC AV28R25EKS Widescreen TV for 2 Years now. The sound is excellent, with the Woofer mounted on the back doing an excellent job, and balancing the speakers couldn't be easier. 3 Scarts are essential for modern AV, and this has them. Also, the RGB input for the Gaming machine has been tucked down the side out of view, yet is accessible (and not behind one of those awful flaps which the kids break). The tuner seems to be sensitive, but it cleared up some of the poor signals I had on my aged old set anyway. I paid £600 for it so VFM Down. If you can get it for £400 then recommended.

Well My JVC AV28R25EK replaced my ageing Toshiba 2539DB 4.3 "Dolby Pro Logic Tv just over eighteen months ago.
I can honestly say that I was pleased with the pictures produced by this set, once I had adjusted the menu settings.
There is a slight picture tilt along the bottom right of the screen, but not too discerning as to spoil my viewing pleasure.
As for audio reproduction, very good, apart from the tiny rear speakers supplied.
The rear mounted sub-woofer unit tends to vibrate quite a bit ...- Read poons's review (299 words)

The first thing you may notice about the JVC AV28R25EKS during setup is the lack of picture tilt correction. For some odd reason this Pro Logic set lacks this basic function which seems to be a major oversight: magnetic tilt which actually presents as noticeable distortion on the top and bottom of the screen may or may not affect you depending on where you live.
Setup is easy and the instruction manual is easy to follow although the generic coverage may lead you to look for basic features - s ...- Read Retty's review (583 words and 1 comment)

Have a problem describing this JVC AV28R25EKS tv. When we bought this set it was after being very disappointed with a new Phillips 32"6506, the result was that at first it seemed that it was the business and I (forever) looking for a fault was blinded by science and the advertising which made the TV appear untouchable by other makes. Yep, I noticed a fault right away but wouldn't take it in till later. The tv's brightness level was to low. The contrast wasn't enough. The rest of the tv was great ...- Read 001maz's review (370 words and 2 comments)

Before buying this JVC AV28R25EKS television I read a number of "professional" reviews, all of which sang the praises of this TV.
I bought it before Christmas. Set it up and the first thing that struck me was the excellent sound. The separate sub woofer really adds to the 3D effect of the sound.
The picture was very good too. Vivid colours with plenty of options to change to your preference.
Unfortunately the picture had a very noticeable tilt to it. When I mentioned this to the retailer he a ...- Read johnnysaint's review (235 words)

On the back of your recent excellent review I have bought a JVC AV28R25EKS television. I have also ordered the optional JVC SPR100 rear speakers. I understand this will give me DPL surround sound.
