Good Points: Lots of information in the branch Friendly, helpful staff who knew all about the account.
General comments: I had read a lot about the new Abbey Child Trust Fund account and just received my voucher in the post on the same day that I received a letter from Abbey about their new CTF account. I don't usually bank with Abbey but thought that as their account offered 2 versions and was presented in a very user-friendly way I would talk to the staff and see if I could find out more.
I was able to open the account on the day I visited the branch, was given lots of information about which option was best for my son and also given some information to take away so I could read about how much I was allowed to save each year (£1,200) and how I could get friends and family to add to his savings.
Overall I was very impressed with the service from the Abbey staff and would recommend them to anyone. They also had information about accounts for my daughter who can't have a CTF as she is too old.
