Good Points: None.
Bad Points: Quoted and gave a reference number, I bought the bike and then they refused insurance because they didn't understand the licencing rules.
General comments: I obtained a quote from Rampdale Motorcycle Insurance for a Chinese 150cc trike, at first they said I needed a full bike licence and could not ride it on a car licence. They put me on hold and then confirmed that I was correct and could ride it, they quoted and gave me a reference number. About 2 weeks later I got the trike and tried to insure with the reference number, the operator informed me that I needed a Full motorbike licence because DVLA rules say that. I tried to tell them to no avail that this was not the case!
I phoned Bikesure, who in contrast knew exactly what they were talking about. They confirmed that Rampdale were talking complete rubbish, and that a full car licence was acceptable to ride a trike. As a result of Rampdale lack of knowledge I took out my insurance with Bikesure.

I had been phoning around for cheap quotes, and due to my area (moderate to high crime) I was finding it really hard to find a cheap quote, but Rampdale Motorcycle Insurance offered me an extremely cheap quote (in comparison). I had no no-claims, and I was on a provisional, and I was offered £550, which, compared to the second cheapest I managed to get, which was 735, I was very impressed. I was registering a new Scooter, Rampdale Motorcylce Insurance made an error in names on my policy, I rang to correct, and the person on phone was most helpful, he corrected the names and extended the policy time frame.
I received a letter stating cancellation of the original policy, but the new extension was obviously not entered into the system, and the policy was cancelled.

Excellent Phone skills. Couldnt go wrong. Very helpful. Everything I asked was answered in a very helpful and profesional manner. It was the lowest quote I have ever got and I presume will be using them again in the future. It was a third of every other quote I had been offerd and I have recomended it to all of my friends and family.
