    Good Points: Very good quality produce, good customer service, fresh produce (many other sites just sell frozen), tried and tested good for Aberdeen Angus Beef


    Bad Points: I think they have supply problems, they deliver with Royal Mail Parcelforce ( based on past experience that can be a really bad point)


    General comments: Generally good service and value for money. They are working with finest Scottish producers, but can they get everything you asked for? Not always, be prepared for that but what they can get to you is seriously good. I would recommend www.caleyco.com Yes, and I have tried many others

    Sadly it is not as easy to obtain items as it is to order them. My order was despatched a week later than it should have been but no-one bothered to let me know.. Seven items were missing and I was charged twice for five of them. Also the packaging was not good enough to protect the pies which arrived crushed.

    Some stuff is from Caledonian Connoisseur is good, but I have had very poor fish - which was replaced, but ruined a dinner party. The worse was my Xmas order that I had to chase Parcelforce for. Have they taken on too much? At £17.50 for some scallops, which were obviously for Xmas I would have thought they would have let me know they were unable to provide! I opened the box after chasing it all over the North East and no Scallops!!

    Excellent friendly knowledgable people and fantastic quality of content. Use for efficiency and an excellent range of high quality products.

    Found Caledonian Connoisseur's easy to use website, informative and straighforward, but called them to check a couple of details on delivery. Very helpful friendly people and very passionate about their produce. Goods were all delivered as they said they would be on Friday by Business Post. Tried the Aberdeen Angus Sirloin steaks, the Hot Smoked Salmon, Marinated Duck Breasts, Ramsays bacon and Kelsae Cheese they were all sensational. Would highly recommend them.
