Good Points: Excelent quality, easy to use in low light situations (including night hunting), paralax adjustable (focus based), target-style turrets with finger adjustable 1/4MOA clicks for windage and elevation, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof.
Bad Points: So far, none.
General comments: I purchased the BSA Air Rifle 27 X 32mm Scope to replace an old Tasco Rimfire scope I had, that has a 3/4 tube diameter and 15mm objective lens, 4X zoom and paralax at50 yards. The reason for my change was that with the old Tasco scope, I could not shoot in twilight hours, which tend to be the best hunting time.
I did plenty of research, and I finally decided on the BSA Scope. I decided to mount it using a B-Square 1-Piece Interlock, 1" x 11mm, AA Adjustable Mount. After some mounting issues (due to the rifle's dovetails, not the mount; see http://www.reviewcentre.com/review151676.html), I finally got the mount on. I have used this mount for night hunting, and any regular flashlight will provide enough illumination for this scope all the way out to 30 or 40 yards. I was amazed at how clear this scope made everything look; basically, if there is enough light to see something with your bare eyes, you will see it through the scope.
This scope has a duplex style reticle, which is very convenient, as it will not block out your target. The scope is not unreasonably priced, and has withstood all the shooting I have done with my Daisy Winchester 1000X (which has quite a bit of recoil for an air rifle) without a glitch. Regarding the antifogging, I would consider it first class. I live in Panama, Central America, and I have slept with the rifle in my room and the air conditioner on, and then taken the rifle straight out of my room to do some target shooting, with no fogging on the lenses at all (consider that 9 out of 12 months in Panama we have above 95% humidity, and temperatures are above 25 degrees Celsius year round, while I sleep with the AC set at 18 degrees Celsius)
I strongly recommend this scope to anyone with a magnum air rifle, as it comes with everything you need.
