    Bad Points: we did not find any only that we were not stopping here


    General comments: we booked the jack tar hotel with thomas cook but it was overbooked and got put in another hotel but we used the jack tar all the time fr meals etc we would go back but cannott find any packages to this hotel

    Myself and my partner stayed at the Occidental Allegro Jack Tar hotel in the Dominican Republic at the end of August 2005. The weather was lovely. Once or twice in the two weeks we stayed there it did rain, but it only lasted around 5 minutes. We loved it! There is plenty to do, and we can't wait to go back!

    The whole week's holiday at the Playa Dorada Jack Tar was exactly the break needed. Very relaxing which is what we wanted but, obviously, if it's sport and sightseeing you're after, it's all there.
    We would definitely love to back one day and hopefully in the next few years.
