I was brought up in England during the 60's and early 70's by an English mother and American father. When my parents retired to Texas, USA, in the spring of 1973 I went with them. One thing I missed was the unique flavors and quality of some of the foods I was brought up on; Cadbury's chocolate, pork pies, and shepherd's pie are some of my favorite foods. One of my favorite times growing up was on Saturday mornings, me and my pals would get together and walk through the town of Woodbridge, Suffolk, to the Saturday matinee- stopping to buy candy and drinks at the local news shop along the way. My favorite soft drink was Tizer and for about 15 years I was unable to buy it in America (when you could find it the price was outrages). Then to my surprise it became readily available through the local export shop in San Antonio and I was transported back 30 years to my days in England; I now had a drink I could enjoy, other than Coke! I would bring it home a case at a time when I was allowed to. The sheer joy of reliving those early days was not lost on me; especially while driving home with a case of Tizer in the back seat of my Range Rover and a mars bar in my hand! Well, now they have fiddled with the product and completely change the dynamics of the drink, and to me it taste awful- my wife, who enjoyed the flavor, asked if it had gone bad or something. We used to serve Tizer to family and friends when they visited; and I was proud to introduce it as a long ago favorite, and truly original drink option to coke in the states - kinda like Cliff Richard and Elvis Presley was to the music industries... I don't believe there are to many people left who will remember the Tizer taste prior to WWII, but there is a whole generation who were brought up on the Tizer I know and love still around. Oh well, we must make changes because thats what we do- saaay, didn't Coke try that change thing to during the mid 1980's?

Bring back the old Tizer, Coke made a huge mistake with "New Coke". Dont do the same with Tizer.

The new taste is not what it once was. Very watery and with an odd aftertaste.

Tizer is an absolutely brilliant drink and it is so tasty! Tizer's Blue flavour has just been released in the shop's and it is lovely, it's red but tastes blue! Tizer also just has an original flavour, Orange Flavour, Purple Flavour and a Green Flavour! Tizer have over 300,000 new drinkers every year, but they want more! Tizer's website is also cool and has loads of competitions, games, pictures and loads of other bit's and pieces! So please check the Tizer site where you could also win a whole ...
