I have naturally dark brown hair, but have lightened it to medium or light brown. I really liked the way that the 6.1 French Eclair turned out for me. My hair never lightens well when I do it myself and I always get a reddish result, so I was expecting the worst. Maybe because of that I was extra careful to place the highlights so that that they were subtle and I only left it on for 15 minutes before washing them out. Besides the base color being a little dark, I am pretty happy with this product and it is a great value. I would not recommend this color for people with very dark brown hair however, unless you have lightened your hair extensively in the past.

L'Oreal couleur Experte is about the best I have used in thirty years of colouring my hair - but why oh why are they discontinuing Light Golden Copper when there is not another colour anywhere near it!!!! I can't find anything else with such a natural colour for me.

If you stay close to your natural color or current color, the product stays true. You must know that certain people that color their hair will turn reddish. If you have ever colored your hair before you will know this. I have used this product for about three years and have used three different shades. I have always received compliments on my color and many of my friends thought I was going to a salon. If you apply this color right you will save $ - the rpice is generally around $15 - compared to going to a professional for $70.

Worked great, easy to use. One colour turned my highlights a copper tone, but leave in a bit longer and went blonde. I liked it, easy to use.

Looks like it was done at a salon. Easy to follow directions. I have used this product, LOreal Color Experte for the last three years. Everyone thinks I go to a salon for my color. I love it!
