There are two different companies, AbsoluteComfortOnSale.com through Ultimate Sleep, and Absolute Comfort On Sale UK (.co.uk). These are entirely different companies that have no relation to each other. Our U.S. based site sells products from entirely different factories and sells quality products. The UK based site, which these reviews are based on, doesn't seem to have the same level of quality. If you are looking for a quality product, feel free to visit our website. Please don't get... We have had our Memory Foam Mattress Topper now for three months which is long enough to write a review to say that we wouldn't now be without it. We bought a new bed and mattress (which my wife chose) but I found it too hard especially on my elbows and heels which were painful. We chose a 1-inch 55kg without a cover, simply putting it on top of our mattress then our sheet and it only cost £50 inc p&p for a King Size. A satisfied customer in Norfolk. (read more)

I would consistently wake up at night for three hours, either because of pain in my hips or just sleeping lightly. We have used the memory foam mattress for about three months. I can't believe how much better I am sleeping. Even if I do wake up, (far less than before) - I'll only stay awake for 2 to 20 minutes. I haven't had one interupted night's sleep. I actually find it a bit strange, soft and hot - but my body seems to love it. If that makes sencse. It seems to be a real love or hate... (read more)

Had a try of the Absolute Comfort Memory Foam Mattress in the shop - seemed very comfortable. When you get into bed seems soft until you ly for a while no movement, back sore in morning - have even had to move to another bed. Would not recommend at all. Stick with the traditional bed unless you like a firm matress. Now moving the matress into the spare room.

Without doubt, the memory mattress is comfortable, but my sleep is disturbed because it is like laying on a covered hot water bottle and there is nothing I can do to cool down. I never had this problem with my old sprung mattress. If I had known the mattress would become uncomfortably warm during the night, I would not have bought it. Saying that, my sister who feels the cold, absolutely loves it.
Now I'm wondering whether any of the mattress toppers address this problem. (read more)

The old spring mattress was in need of replacement, and when the best replacement quotation was 5,000 pounds, it made me look for alternatives. Memory foam had been recommended by a friend, so I tried the Tempur in the showroom and was impressed, but not by the price.
With a little research I bought a Komfi Fusion memory foam mattress four years ago now, and it's probably the best thing I've done for years. (read more)

I recommend The Memory Foam Mattress firm to anyone. The mattress is extremely high quality. I bought the platinum one with 1 inch of super luxury MF and 3 inches of 80kg/m3 MF. It IS quite firm but I like it. It softens in heat anyway. The prices are very reasonable. If for whatever reason you need your mattress urgently, don't think you'll get it early! I got about 2 weeks after I put the order in. But who cares if you're gonna end up with a brilliant mattress anyway. (read more)

I bought a Absolute Comfort Memory Foam Mattress from Bed In The Clouds - since then I have stopped getting strange pins and needle feelings which I would get in my head and arms which I believed stemmed from problems with my back. I do not seem to suffer from the heat problems mentioned below but then I use a very light duvet for the summer and a good quality mattress protector. Would highly recommend them. (read more)

We bougth a Springwall Weatherby mattress with a integrated ~4 inch topper of Memory Foam. First 2-3 months we felt it was a super investment as it was so firm but comfortable to sleep in and that we would wake up in the morning and feel rested. But it only lasted for this short period. It developed holes in it after where our bodyweight is greatest, and soon it became a nightmare instead. We bought two beds. I have to say that I am happy with my bed as I find the memory foam mattress has done wonders for my bad lower back problem. However I did feel and still do feel we were taken for a ride on the price. They were very expensive and although the bed head and sides were well upholstered the actual construction is not up to much. The Absolute Comfort Memory Foam Mattress is the worst purchase I have ever made. We were unable to use the mattress, and despite the involvement of Trading Standards, the best offer we got was half our money back if we returned the item. It is interesting to note how each review rating the Absolute Comfort Memory Foam Mattress at 0 - 3 is followed on this site by several reviews rating it at 10. Note that these ratings are not 8 or 9, but 10. The reviews use glowing terms and technical vocabulary straight out of the sales brochure. After 2 or 3 years, the foam failed to provide support where the load had been. The warranty is worthless, as it only covers permanent indentation. The foam recovers its shape OK, but it will not support you. It feels like a soggy sponge. Memory foam mattresses in general, work best with a firm wooden convex laminated birch or beech plywood slatted bed base/foundation.
May we take this opportunity to advise all our future customers at the time of ordering their Absolute Comfort Memory Foam Mattress to seek advice as to whether the mattress is suitable for the type of bed base they are using.

We ordered a mattress from this company in April 2004, and initially we were very pleased with it.
