Good Points: I'm looking forward to meeting a christian male contact and see what God's will may be.

General comments: It is my 1st time on christiancafe and it was easy to navigate throughout your website!

It's the largest and best Christian Site online as far as I am aware. There are no gimmicks like eHarmony has telling you can view your matches for free when in fact you have to be a member to see pics. The trial membership gives you full privileges.
After 5 years and my profile being looked at over 62,000 times, I finally met the love of my life. We are being married in January 2009. My membership on Christian Cafe expires in a few days.

The chatroom is the best one I've found yet.
I've been a member off and on for over four years. I guess that proves it is ineffective... for me that is, since I have found no one yet. But, in all fairness, I'm over 50 and that is not an easy order to fill.

As far as I am aware there is no buzz sound to tell you when someone wants to IM chat with you. Not unless you are staring in the monitor, you will miss it. There is no picture of the person who wants to chat with you, so you have no idea if you want to accept it or decline it. Sometimes after accepting the invite, and you realize you didn't want to talk with him, but it's too late.
I hope they will improve the services or the software of Christian Cafe to better maximize the client's time and ...

I am a single Black woman over 40 and I disagree with the opinion about Christian Cafe ignoring Black women and favoring young blondes. I went on the site with no intention of initiating any communication.. and I received plenty of mail from very nice Christian men -- and not just Black men -- and even before I posted my photo. I also referred one of my single Black female friends and she wasn't ignored. I really loved Christian Cafe and I believe it's a great tool for meeting nice Christian sin ...

I noticed that people don't seem to want to write back. The girls act like they are scared. You are totally nice and up front with someone, and that's how you are treated? It makes it look even worse for a christian site. Unfortunately, this is not the site itself's fault. I won't give up on this site just yet, but do hope and pray they encourage more honest and open communication! I do also thank people for their prayers.

I was asked about the Christian Caf , so here's my quick review...

I was living in Quebec and I was taking basic training, and I really wanted to meet somebody. Even if it was just new friends, I wanted to connect to people outside my circle of friends. And of course I really wanted to meet somebody!

I tried eHarmony.com and it was cool because they give you this free profile of yourself - so I recommend doing that. You can save it to your computer and feed bits and pieces of your profi ...

I like religion, but the site was a bit too religious. Money is also a factor. I also created a profile at OutOnDate, which is a nice dating site too, except that is free, whereas the Christian Cafe dating site isn't.

There are many entries at Christian Cafe and the website is well laid out. Some trial periods are offered. However, After repeatedly soliciting me with a few more trial days, I paid for a month and subsequently seemed to fall off the face of the Christian Cafe planet. My password and user-name no longer work. Multiple attempts to have them send my password or contact me by phone have not been responded to.
Attempts to set up another free trial results in the message that my email address is ...

As for me, Christian Cafe is a frontage which hiding place a sect. People are manipulated, money passes from the pockets of the followers to those of the owners of the site. One more things, people of the chat rooms showed racism towards Jews and Catholics. It's a very dangerous place and I'm convinced that it's a site that should be controlled by some organizations which fight against the sects .

I would not recommend working with Chrisian Cafe. It's like a very superficial singles group at church.

Christian Cafe is a place with a lot of sectarian people. They don't mind hurting other people feelings, in the name of God. It's a perfect place for weak people to be manipulated, and being convinced that Christian people on there are the only one who know Truth.

These comments are based on my experiences on the Christian Cafe Dating site, the experiences of friends and some experiments we conducted on the site. We posted our own profiles, pictures with wigs, and experimented with changing our age on the site.

We repeated these experiments a number of times, and the results were consistent:

    - Young blonde women had their mailboxes full within 48 hours, and were flooded with instant messages.
    - Women over 35 hardly got any responses - sometimes, al ...

The Christian Cafe is an excellent place to meet like minded singles. I'm a believer in the good lord and despite not following all of his instructions to the letter, I'm a decent semi-regular church-goer.

The Cafe (as I affectionately know it) gives me a good place to chat to fellow believers worldwide. Despite having strayed from the flock in my past I have been readily been accepted by many people of The Cafe and I have made some really good buddies.

I don't know if romance will blosso ...
