    Good Points: Are there any?


    Bad Points: Can't contact the company.


    General comments: I signed up for the £20 package so that I can watch a film whilst the others are in the post. They only sent 1 film at a time, which was useless. The post was good, but even so, you are lucky if you can watch more than 1 film per week due to the postage times.

    Movie Pigeon charged me for 1 months DVD rental rental, although I had cancelled the agreement 1 week before the Free Trial was due to expire. I e-mailed them several times, as the phone number they give you is useless and no-one ever answers the phone. It seems impossible to contact them.

    I am not impressed, and my next point of contact will be my credit card company to reclaim my £20.

    I read Laracrofts review, and others reviews regarding Movie Pigeon, and I sadly have to concur.
    They offered me another 2 weeks trial, but they failed to send me 2 disks. They did not respond to any emails I sent them, and charged me for the next month, even though I had cancelled the subscription and returned all the discs on time. The day after they charged me, another disc arrived which I promptly sent back, but they have still failed to reply to any of my messages.

    Movie Pigeon charged me, for a disc and I went over my free trail, I didn't have the disk. After they e-mailed me saying my account is cancelled. They charged me again, on the highest charge package. They have NO communications and don't have a customer service department. It would surprize me if this was a basement company. AVOID. They do not give refunds, and I to contact my credit card company to cancel the payments.

    I have tried all the rental companies and can easily say that Movie Pigeon is the worst.

    They are slow, and never have the titles you really want. The latest movies are weeks behind for rental, customer service is not that great, and they're not that cheap.

    I have been with movie pigeon a while now, and I honestly cannot think of a better one. So much so, I have just emailed them, to express how pleased I am with their service! I am currently off work sick, so I get through quiet a lot of films. I send them (for example), on Monday, and by wednesday or thursday, at very latest, I have new ones.     I recently tried Movie Pigeon through a free trial. After some bad behaviour from the company including claiming to have sent out DVDs then later the same day claiming I had shipped them back (only hours after they apparently sent them which is impossible!), shipping me very badly damaged DVDs that would not play and shipping the wrong titles I attempted to cancel the subscription, which did not go very well as they suddenly started threatening me with lawyers over a DVD that I had shipped back ...

    Movie Pigeon started off well with the DVDs arriving ok but when I recived some really old poor quality films I decided to cancel the free trial I had started.
    Thats when the trouble started. I was charged £20 even though I cancelled the membership on time. The reply I received when I e-mailed about the charge was that three DVDs were outstanding. I posted them all together but they say they never got them. Then it reduced to 2 DVDs outstanding overnight with no explanation.

    The films from Movie Pigeon take a long time to arrive, I tried a free trial with them and in spite of cancelling and sending their film back with proof of posting, I got charged. They claim the film arrived a day late. Their communication is not good, and their customer services phone is never answered. Be wary if you try a free trial it won't be free.
