I love my new dishwasher something totally different and a real talking point with friends. It's great having a real half load facility. Really easy to use. Their websites doesn't really do the product justice, worth going and looking at in store.

Don't buy F&P products. My kitchen is fully equipped. The double dishdrawer has had numerous callouts for repairs it is totally unreliable. My old Hotpoint went for 14 years without any problems ever. My Icon Tower double oven has had each oven break down more than once and it has not yet been installed for more than 2 years. My experience of F&P customer service is that it is very poor and exceedingly disappointing.
On the positive side my gas hob has never gone wrong nor has the extractor f ...

Felt I had to write this as I have owned a Fisher & Paykel for three years! Fantastic, wouldn't change it, never had a problem. You have to occasionally clean out the machine, but this is necessary on all dishwashers. The product needs to be fitted quite specifically and I suspect some problems may have come from the unit being ill fitted. Great machine thumbs up.

Great idea but DO NOT BUY unless you are happy with the expense and inconvenience of several call outs per drawer per year! Deeply frustrating and very expensive and I really do not recommend them in any way - customer service is unhelpful once past the warranty period.

We've had a two drawer model and it is a nightmare!! We've had to call the service engineer out about 5 times in the last 3 years and on average it costs about £270 a go!! The machine just isn't robust enough. It's currently causing problems, not emptying properly or cleaning very well and we are just waiting for it to die again then I'm afraid it's curtains for the F&P and hello Meile or Bosch!!
    Not recommended at all!!

I've had 2 a Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawer for 6 years, and had both repaired a total of 7 times - bout once a year. Very few repair companies will touch them, and the latest repair was £200. They are made in NZ where the water is soft so the water softener is too small for hard water areas and often dies.

Great looks does not make a great dishwasher. Had no more than 3 months without having to call out the engineer Wouldn't recommend Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawer to anyone.

I have owned my Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawers for nearly 3 years and love them to bits. I could not rate on the service/support because I haven't had to use them. I was sceptical after reading the reviews before I bought, but my local electrical appliance store told me they had sold many of them and not had a problem. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a Fisher and Paykel in a previous property which I had to leave behind. Despite the dishwasher costing more than lots of others I couldn't bear to be without it so bought another one.

Our F&P DishDrawer is five years old and is about to be repaired for the second time. Enough said. (Our Miele washing machine is 11 years old and has never been repaired and has always worked perfectly. I wish Miele made drawer type dish washers.) The main reason we bought the F&P was because it was the only type that would fit into our limited kitchen space.

we've had our Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawer for just over 5 yrs. now and agree with the other comments that the principle is excellent but the reliability appalling. I thought it very interesting that this is the one machine where when the extended warranty expired I was not contacted about renewing it

I am astounded at the number of faults people have experienced with the Fisher and Paykel dishdrawers! Maybe the NZ ones are not made in the same factories as the UK ones but I have had 3 in 3 houses in the last 10 years. It is the only dishwasher I would install. First one installed 1999, had a callout as the top drawer began rusting, which was replaced under warranty; second house, 2004 - integrated dishdrawer - no problems. Latest one installed in my current house, 2006 - runs like clockw ...

The Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawer is a beautifully designed and implemented product. Totally unreliable and given price way too expensive. F&P customer service in the UK little better than a joke. Out of warranty support forget it £100 call out.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT as a general household dishwasher. If you are single or couple OK unreliable for regular family use.

Have had my Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawer for about 5 years and the last time it failed I had to wait 4 weeks for the recognised repairer to fix it. This time Dishdrawer developed an F1 fault so I contacted Fisher & Paykel who said I needed an engineer and gave me the number of a recognised repairer in my area. They wanted me to pay a call out charge of £91.21 which did not include parts or labour!! I got a friend who repairs appliances, but had no knowledge of this appliance, wh ...

    John Lewis- great
F&P- over engineered and pretty rubbish for the price.
May get something similar depending on reviews when we get the new kitchen. Oh well- back to the dishes!

Not reliable. Have had two fisher and paykel DD 603 machines since August 08 and had about 10 working weeks out of the pair. Eventually got a replacement for the first unit and that failed for a different fault.
1st unit control board failed. 2nd unit steam leaked from top draw and whilst waiting 3 weeks for a new seal the bottom draw failed. Replaced both seals the unit stopped working. That was enough for us new product.
Two different sub-contracted engineering repair companies both were unhe ...
