Good Points: Looks great! Intelligent and titanium finish is REAlLY fingerprint and stain free.
Bad Points: Not a solidly build unit, feels like a plastic! Water pressure hose is plastic!
General comments: 1 year of use out of the Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawer- no problem. Quite, efficient, looks great. It's titanium like finish is REALlY stain free. Mostly we are using one top draw. Bottom drawer used for Pots washing. Wash quality is only good on normal or above. Efficiency of wash is mediocre. I do not like quality of build. Being mechanic myself I respect design and engineering side, but build is poor. Feels flimsy and plastic, no solid feel. During day as you continually loading it always pressing buttons accidentally - annoying! Plastic water pressure hose - rubbish! I do not recommend this to anyone. I'd get Whirlpool, German made - good solid unit or something else.

We are on our second Fisher Paykel dishwasher: the company had to replace the first one after two terrible years of operation. Now, in our third year of operation of the replacement unit -- indeed, just two weeks out after the warranty on it expired -- the top drawer has completely failed. As the man who came out to service unit (and whom Fisher Paykel recommended) told us: "gosh: you'll probably have to replace every part except for the tub itself." We estimated the cost at well over $500. ...

This Fisher and Paykel DD 603 double drawer dishwasher has to be the most unreliable thing I have ever bought. I made the mistake of buying 2 because I do a lot of cooking and have a big family. We must have had them repaired 10 times in 3 years and every time the same faults re-occur. The build quality is poor, they leak like a sieve and the electronics are very unreliable. I have given up now and will probably buy a Miele or similar. Less nice to look at but apparently very reliable. F&P are b ...

Will be moving away from F&P products in the future I'm afraid; a pity 'cos I think their Smart-Drive WM's are a good product. Ours is an early model with (apparently) a "life-time" warranty-- but try getting any sort of warranty action from F&P!

Been relitavely trouble free since day 1 apart from the odd hiccup as can be expected with all appliances.
I have no idea why the reviews are so bad for this machine, I can only assume they are being used wrong.

So in the six weeks we've had it we have been able to use it only about three times. And this is a eight hundred and ninety nine pounds machine that we thought was going to be an investment buy! John Lewis, where we bought it, has agreed to give us a full refund. If only F&P were so customer-focused: they have ignored numerous emails and when they finally did deign to reply told us that we couldn't get our eighty five pounds back. We are now going to buy a Miele but are determined that KAR reimb ...

Fisher & Paykel double dishwasher: We had serious problems with this product from the beginning. Terrible warranty sevice after a 1 year war with the distributor. Still having problems. We wrote to customer relation at F&P HQ in NZ. Six months later we still have no response. Save yourself a lot of wasted money, effort and heartache. Buy another brand.

I love the look. I like having the small drawer because it is usually full so I can turn it on every night. This Fisher and Paykel dishwasher is about 4 years old and this is the 2nd time it has needed service. This time it will cost $450 to repair. Before it was still under warranty. I would try to find another brand dishwasher when I purchase again.

Having had this model for under four years it was necessary to call out an engineer as the machine started on its own.The call out cost was 77.00 and the repair was quoted at 427 due they say to needing a new circuit board. Not Very good value for an expensive machine lasting such a short time.

We are very pleased with this dishwasher, it does work well, pretty much all the time and it does get talked about and we are often asked what it is, because it really isn't obviously a dishwasher.

The Fisher and Paykel DD 603 Double Drawer Dish Washer is a very disappointing product, unreliable, and prone to frequent blockages, plastic rotor wears out and requires replacing often, does not rally wash any better then a whirlpool for less than half the price.
