Bourjois Happy Light. Reasonable price, Makes skin feel really healthy and soft, Great range of colours, No tide marks, Smells pleasant, Brightens skinMy mum bought this foundation for herself, but told me as it has a very dewy look to it it isn't the perfect makeup for mature ladies.

I decided to try this myself for a change from my usual heavy matte foundation, i wanted a more natural dewy finish.

I thought the packaging was really lovely, very stylish looking, and a nice size to keep in your bag. It doesn't get messy and it's really easy to get out of the tube, but it isn't a pump foundation so it may go off quicker than other foundations.

Value for money is very good, mine was roughly £5.99 and it has enough to last about half a year i'd day with a light daily application.

Upon applying i tested it on my hand, it was gorgeous. It felt soft, smelt really nice and matched my skin perfectly.

I applied it with a damp foundation brush. I did notice it was quite hard to blend as the very liquid texture meant it sat on top of the skin and moved around a lot, after a lot of blending it still looked like i'd put it on and hadn't blended. But i didn't get foundation lines at all, it matched my skin perfectly. I found dabbing it gently with a sponge evened out application, and it definitely needs powder applied afterwards as it looks too shiny.

It holds on quite well i'd say, but still gives you that healthy dewy look. It feels beautiful and although i have very sensitive skin didn't break me out.

This foundation is very nice and natural looking, but it is too shiny and i noticed it has weird shimmery glitter stuff in it :S It is very light coverage also so you need to apply a lot of concealer underneath.

Overall this is perfect if you have dry clear skin, but not so good if you have blemishes or aged skin.

Bourjois Happy Light goes on so smooth and feels so light, gives a fresh glow to skin.

I have run out of my favourite foundation and have been in and out of Boots/Superdrug but for some reason they don't have any in stock

Should start making it again, the new ones aren't as good, they have also taken off the market 'matt lovely' which was much better than their new ranges. I certainly wont be buying them. Sorry!

I love Bourjois Happy Light foundation! I'm 20 years old, so for me I don't need an extra heavy foundation. It's light, and it gives you instant radiance, especially during the summer.

I like this Bourjois Happy Light Foundation for during the day and especially during the summer when lots of foundations are too heavy but tinted moisturiser is not enough. I think it does as advertised - a light coverage.

I was very disappointed by Bourjois Happy Light foundation. It was so light it hardly provided any coverage, and then slid neatly into the wrinkles on my face, with the result that the light reflecting pigments highlighted the wrinkles. It did the same thing with my open pores, filled them, making my skin look dotty. The whole effect was truly bizarre, but it didn't matter too much because it had worn off after an hour or two.

I should add, that at 43, my skin is not brilliant, but it's no ...

Although the Bourjois Happy Light gives good value for money it is not the easiest of foudations to apply and blend sucessfully. It has a slighlty greasy texture which combined with the 'light capturing micro pigments' makes it lokk altogether a little too shiny. Despite these bad aspects it can provide a good base if used with a light powder and lasts well throughout the day maintaining a good overall look.
